You're right, he and the rest of our young or new offense players need tons of game experience.

If the ceiling is high enough, you could put in a raised floor. I did that with my former home in Jersey which had water-in-the basement problems (even with 2 sump pumps and a moisture barrier between the block walls and the paneling, I was never sure if it would stay completely dry), and it worked beautifully.
The contractor put down some sort of galvanized 1"x2"s or 2"x2"s a foot or two apart, then put a regular plywood floor on top of them, and then carpeting. It really wasn't that expensive, either.

It only worries me that Teague appears to be the first option at LT should Gandy falter. I would prefer TT at center for at least one more year, with Peters or McFarland being the backup plan at LT. It seems neither may be ready, however.

He should go into the Witness Protection Program so that some toothless goon doesn't brain him with his stick.

I don't really care, but why do people feel the need to proclaim their sexual proclivity on their license plates?

If a smallish, 2nd round rookie, fighting for a starting job, wants to hold out, that's fine with me. Let Reed and Aiken fight for the 3rd WR spot, while Parrish and Rosenhaus take their dolls and go home.

After living there for over six years, it's easier for me to tell you what you SHOULDN'T do.
- Don't eat grits. They taste like boiled popcorn.
- Don't talk. They'll hear you speaking regular English and automatically declare you a northern moron.
- Don't reference the Civil War, and if you do, reference it by it's proper name: The War of Northern Agression.
- Don't look for Southern Hospitality. You're not from the south, so you are a foreigner, and foreigners are not to be shown any form of southern hospitality.
- Don't drive in the rain. Stay off the roads. People from North Carolina can't drive to begin with, but throw a little water on the roads and you'd think it was a blizzard.
- Don't make fun of The Andy Griffith Show, or in any way, shape or form suggest that Mayberry is a fictional place. No one has told them yet and they seem at peace with it.
- Don't stand still if you hear banjo music.
- Don't leave for vacation without visiting your local dentist first to ensure everything is okay. There are no dentists in North Carolina and apparently all dental work is done by the local veterinarian.
- Don't wear anything other than Wrangler jeans as Levis are considered "high-falutin' cosmopolitian attire."
- Don't go. Just stay home. There's nothing to see there.
That's hilarious, and some of it is very true. There are dentists, however, and I have a good one.
If Raleigh weren't 4 plus hours away, you could visit the beautiful Outer Banks.

Big mouth. Small brain.

We won with Jimbo. We lost watching OJ set individual records. Enough said.

Actually, many fans in the club level seats act like they're at the ballet or the opera - they occasionally applaud, but very sedately. Most of them think I'm nuts and would probably prefer to have me removed, because I yell and carry on like a real fan.

If Rian Lindell is our biggest problem this season, we are going to be in very good shape.

I love football, but I sort of agree with the article. At my rather advanced age, I'm in no great hurry for summer to end. I enjoy swimming and picnics and baseball and all of the other great things of summer.
And I'll continue to enjoy them until we start the football season, when my wife and I will be driving to the Ralph for every home game. We love that, too.

I hope he's ready by October, but I kind of doubt it. Whenever he's ready, I think he may be an Orlando Gates-type player.

I don't understand why so many people think Trey Teague is a good LT. He was strictly the product of a system at Denver, where the Broncos made no effort to re-sign him when he became a free agent. Gandy started exactly as many games at LT for the Bears, and much more recently, as Teague did for the Broncs.
Moving Teague will give us a rookie at center and a guy who hasn't played LT in 4 years, plus a new guy in Anderson. I think for continuity, and to play guys where they are best suited, that Teague stays at center - for at least one more year - and Gandy plays LT.

Damn TO for wanting to get paid.... DAMN HIM.... We all know NFL Teams always honor the contracts they sign players too.... TO should just be proud to wear the unifrom.......
Owens is going about this the wrong way, and not saying the brightest things, but the bottom line is. He doesn't have to honor the contract, and should be paid accordingly to his talent, which would be the HIGHEST PAID WR IN THE NFL.....
He IS getting paid, and rather well, under a contract he willingly signed. NFL teams DO honor contracts. You are getting confused by the fact that most NFL contracts are not guaranteed for their nominal life.
TO DOES have to honor his contract, or he won't get paid. I hope the Eagles stick to their guns and make him meet his contractual obligation.

King may very well move past Thomas and Greer on the depth chart and wind up as the nickel.
-
I love how he never even mentioned that he was under contract, a contract he willingly signed, without a gun to his head or any other duress, last year.
What a selfish, arrogant punk.

You mean the Skip Bayless who says Raffy Palmiero - currently with 3008 hits and 568 home runs, only the 4th member of baseball's very exclusive 3000/500 club - should not be in the Hall of Fame?
His name should be Skip Brainless.

Schumer's a Bills Fan? That's almost enough to send me over to the dark side.

Regardless of who starts, Anderson and Edwards will both be in the rotation with Big Sam. Anderson may be more of a run stuffer; Edwards a pass rusher.

I live about 200 yards from the ocean, but I never go in the water. I use my pool instead. That picture summarizes why.

Have you seen the promo with him babbling on and on about the Patriots, ending with something like, "and they have Tom Brady. Quite frankly, that's all they need." What an idiot!

The site IS bloated and slow, but at least it's visually ugly and non-user friendly.

A good way to get to many of the places mentioned, including Fells Point, Fort McHenry and Canton is via water taxi. You can walk to Little Italy and Federal Hill from the Inner Harbor.
My wife and I particularly like Fells Point, with its cobblestone streets, small pubs, restaurants and shops.
