Come on, go to the original thread with the link, and vote until you're on the verge of carpal tunnel.

Have you Stadium Wallers quit? BB.Com and the BillsZone are going great guns, but we need all of your help.
Do you want the stinking cheese heads to beat us?

Do we know what Clements' injury is? It looked to me that it was a "stinger"--the way he was opening and closing his hand. If that's the case, he can play through it.
But even without Clements, I'm not going to count the Bills out. After all, Greer has had a heck of a preseason...and then there's that perennial pro-bowler we have playing FS who can move to corner in a pinch. I'm sure one of those guys can do an adequate job on Andre Johnson.
Saw on NFL Network that Nate didn't practice today and his status is uncertain for Sunday. We can compensate for his loss with a great pass rush and some good zone coverage.

I love it when people consign us to the scrap heap before the season even starts.

He is a good special teams player and the only strong safety backup to Milloy. Baker and Leonhard are both free safeties.

Waste of space.

Best wishes and prayers, Rich. Hope to see you soon.

We have a difficult time letting things go, don't we? I see stalking in some of your futures.

As evasive as Mularkey and company have become about injuries, who knows if Willis is OK?
-
I'd trade them Tory Woodbury for a 2nd.

I always pull for Lefty. I really like the guy.

We don't know if it was a similar injury to Pennington or not. They also play totally different positions.
Thus, I wouldn't make any predictions based on Pennington's recovery time.

No, let's keep it open so the sarcastic experts can bash everyone who doesn't agree with them.

If Stamer were better than Posey, he would - or will - be starting. These guys are evaluated live and in film everyday by an excellent coaching staff.
I love how we fans know so much more than professional football people.

Why would anyone put any credence in the ramblings of Helmet Hair Kiper or Chicken Neck Clayton?

It is equally short sighted to anoint him to Canton.
For the record, I was against the trade for JP, NOT because I think that he is a bad player. How would I realistically know? I simply would have preferred that the Bills went after blockers.
That said, he is here. I support the kid, and praise his work ethic. JP is under HUGE pressure. He was drafted by a team that has failed to win a playoff game for FAR too long, and has been looking for a Jim Kelly replica since he retired; partially due to the lousy blocking. First round picks are also under more pressure than others, but this is simply the nature of the NFL.
I have no idea if JP will ultimately be great, suck, or anything in-between. What I DO know is that he has been working hard with some pretty smart coaches. This is about all one can reasonably expect at this point, imo.
Btw, as far as TSW goes, I expect the "worshippers," those who expect nothing less than instant greatness to be the first to turn on him. Watch and see.
Why is it that we always have to be portrayed as so polarized, i.e. "worshippers" or "haters" or whatever? I'm with you as far not knowing what he will ultimately become, because it is obviously far, far too early to do so.
I think that except for the lunatic fringe on either side of the issue, most of us are neither ready to dump him, nor to anoint him to Canton, particularly after one scrimmage.
I just think he did pretty well his first time out, and am really amazed that some would already be throwing him under the bus.
-
Good God, I can't believe how negative some people are after what was actually a very nice debut by JP.
This "Let's bring in Holcomb" nonsense is absolutely ludicrous.
I guess the Hot Pockets generation wouldn't be content with anything less than 15 of 15 for 300 yards and 2 TD passes in his 2 series.
It was a scrimmage after less than one week of camp, folks.
Why doesn't the lynch mob just unsaddle their horses, put away their rope, go home, and relax?
-
You can't judge any player based on one scrimmage, or one preseason game, or four preseason games, or even his first sixteen regular season games for that matter.
The fact is, JP looked good out there. I think he will continue to develop and very well may have a really successful season.
I see no glaring weaknesses in his game, an a lot of upside. I believe he will be a star in this league.
-
Those here and on other boards that are writing JP off simply prove - once again - that any idiot can use a computer.

Dr. Z is not our offensive line coach and Peters, by all accounts, is not yet ready to assume a starting role.
Peters has tremendous athletic talent but he does not, as yet, have a full grasp of the LT position.

I think the historic treatment of Native Americans is one of the saddest chapters in American history.
However, this NCAA ruling takes political correctness to its most ridiculous extreme. I despise this kind of tokenism. Most Native American nicknames and mascots connote bravery and a strong, fighting spirit.
Apparently these virtues are no longer in vogue, at least in liberal academia.

We're losing to the Packers fans now...
