  1. Would rather stay at 28 and take BPA.    Maybe trade back and get two picks in the second round instead of having none.   McBeanes need top 100 bodies in this and next years draft.   WR class is super deep, no need to reach for the LSU kid.

Defenses will be playing 2 deep zone to take the bomb away from Josh no matter who is the X.   So why reach in the draft for a guy who defenses will take away anyway??

Y'all need to look at more tape on Curtis Samuel.  I live in the DC area and that guy can play.    Guy ran a 4.3 sec 40 and can jump out of the gym.  Brian Thomas did not top those numbers.

I like Jordan Phillips.  Always rooted for the guy, and smiled when the Bills signed him.  He was one of the rare Bills players that looked like he was enjoying himself out on the field.

That being said, he's good, sometimes even great, when rested and until he's injured in some way.  He's just not a player that can perform when banged up.   He'd probably be better if he strategically played every other game .  😀

Having known a couple pro athletes, they are driven by the competition, not the fun.  They play sports simply to win, and for money.  The better they play, the more they win and the more money they make.   So many pro athletes, when asked if they ever play their sport "for fun" the vast majority say, "No", it's a 9 to 5 job , 6+ days a week, just like everyone else.   Kind of took me by surprise.

So yeah, just root for the laundry.

  3. Modern NFL offenses are less rigid on roles than they once were.   Bills have TEs and RBs who can play the X, WRs who can run the ball, Slots who can X, etc.  Scheme it up and throw it to the guy with the mismatch, Josh.    All this X, Y and Z stuff is much less relevant in today's NFL.   With Josh's arm, give me guys who can separate and catch and I'm good.

His contract is pretty brutal. We don't have much of a choice other than to hope he gets right.

Pretty sure he is working hard on fixing his slice.   He'll be out of the league instantly if he doesn't.   We'll know by opening day if he has or hasn't and McBeanes will not hesitate to bring in another guy if he keeps slicing it.   My sense is holders really matter, and Haack is one of the best, so we'll see.

Not wondering, genius. Responding to @ProcessTruster re his concern that the stadium WILL be filled with resold tickets once PSLs are in effect.

Probably difficult to understand what a poster is saying when you diarrah post responses to every comment made.

I'm just reflecting what I've seen with my own eyes in other stadiums where the ticket prices are sky high on top of PSLs.  The whole vibe is different.   Home team fans looking sideways at 10s of thousands of opposition fans, it's weird.  All bc PSL owners are dumping half their tickets each season.   andthis will happen in the new stadium for sure.   For example, all you had to do was watch the Leafs/Sabres game yesterday.    Just llke that .  that is what it will be like.

LOL, half the stadium is available for the Jets.

Yeah it costs $400 for a crap ticket in Highmark.. I just go visit my daughter in NYC and pay $175 for a better seat in MetLife.   Half the stadium is Bills fans so its all good.

The meaning of a "home game" will be diminishing league-wide in the next 5 - 10 years.   Roaming retirees following their team wherever they go + crazy PSLs/season tkt prices have largely watered down "home games" in 7 or 8 places already (Vegas, LA, NYC, DC, AZ, a few others).

The only thing helping WNY is its not a travel destination so much plus it's freezing f ing cold for half the games.

Because that won’t raise the $200m that they’re looking for

the PSL and high tkt prices will have the lower bowl being 25-50% opposing team fans from the day the stadium opens, other than the division and warm weather games.   I've seen it in Baltimore, NYC and here in DC.   Gotta cover your costs somehow.   Folks are taking the $20-30k PSL and will resell games they are not interested in for as long as it takes to get their $ back.   I will be years.

It is coming.   Elvis will be sitting right next to a guy with a Jets jersey on for f's sake.

It has been beat to death about the squib kick. There is a reason the ST coach was fired and Leslie didn’t come back.

yep that was 1000% on the idiot ST coach who did not the get the squib call in.   McD was a class act to not throw him under the bus.

Once again thank you for bringing pro football to WNY and for keeping the team in Buffalo then OP all of these years. Without Ralph there would be no Buffalo Bills.

He would have resisted this new stadium boondoggle which will price out the fanbase.   For all his "Ralph is Cheap" faults, these faults would have kept this stadium debacle with its $20k PSL/ 300 dlr ticket price nightmare from happening and would have kept Bills Mafia actually in the stadium..

IMO that is wrong. I don't get the point of buying tickets if all you are doing is to profit off then. I always thought the point of being a season ticket holder was you were a fan of team. Now it's all about how much money you can make off them.

I can understand selling tickets if you can't make the game. To go into the season with the plan of going to 1-2 games and selling the rest I see as a problem.

Agreed, it is a problem, but this problem comes with the territory.  Everyone knew this was coming.   Build a $1.7B frankly unnecessary stadium in a tier 3 economy , charge $20k PSL, jack up the ticket prices and expect minimal resale?  In f ing WNY?   Unrealistic.

I live in the DC area and go to Bills games in DC, Balto and NYC and 25%+ of the stands are Bills fans, and PSLs and sky high ticket prices are part of the reason.  Expect this to start happening in Orchard Park in a couple years; where the stadium is not all Bills fans, but you'll have 10-15k fans of the opposition, just like it is everywhere else where fancy new, wildly expensive PSL stadiums exist.   The pure "bills mafia" experience in WNY will die.  Just like when the Leafs play the Sabres in B Lo.   Its all Leafs fans in the lower bowl.

But hey , the Bills have a fancy new stadium like the big city teams.  Gee, that's terrific, now you get to sit next to a randomly rotating set of fans of the team you are playing.   Great.

    Sad, really.

I love this!  I've been watching him languish for years in DC.  He's really good.

yeah I live in DC and he is very good.   He's kind of a Deebo type, can run with it , catch it, very good all around.   Played with garbage QBs here so he will enjoy separating and having Josh stick the ball between his numbers at 100 mph.
