Because that won’t raise the $200m that they’re looking for

the PSL and high tkt prices will have the lower bowl being 25-50% opposing team fans from the day the stadium opens, other than the division and warm weather games.   I've seen it in Baltimore, NYC and here in DC.   Gotta cover your costs somehow.   Folks are taking the $20-30k PSL and will resell games they are not interested in for as long as it takes to get their $ back.   I will be years.

It is coming.   Elvis will be sitting right next to a guy with a Jets jersey on for f's sake.

It has been beat to death about the squib kick. There is a reason the ST coach was fired and Leslie didn’t come back.

yep that was 1000% on the idiot ST coach who did not the get the squib call in.   McD was a class act to not throw him under the bus.

Once again thank you for bringing pro football to WNY and for keeping the team in Buffalo then OP all of these years. Without Ralph there would be no Buffalo Bills.

He would have resisted this new stadium boondoggle which will price out the fanbase.   For all his "Ralph is Cheap" faults, these faults would have kept this stadium debacle with its $20k PSL/ 300 dlr ticket price nightmare from happening and would have kept Bills Mafia actually in the stadium..

IMO that is wrong. I don't get the point of buying tickets if all you are doing is to profit off then. I always thought the point of being a season ticket holder was you were a fan of team. Now it's all about how much money you can make off them.

I can understand selling tickets if you can't make the game. To go into the season with the plan of going to 1-2 games and selling the rest I see as a problem.

Agreed, it is a problem, but this problem comes with the territory.  Everyone knew this was coming.   Build a $1.7B frankly unnecessary stadium in a tier 3 economy , charge $20k PSL, jack up the ticket prices and expect minimal resale?  In f ing WNY?   Unrealistic.

I live in the DC area and go to Bills games in DC, Balto and NYC and 25%+ of the stands are Bills fans, and PSLs and sky high ticket prices are part of the reason.  Expect this to start happening in Orchard Park in a couple years; where the stadium is not all Bills fans, but you'll have 10-15k fans of the opposition, just like it is everywhere else where fancy new, wildly expensive PSL stadiums exist.   The pure "bills mafia" experience in WNY will die.  Just like when the Leafs play the Sabres in B Lo.   Its all Leafs fans in the lower bowl.

But hey , the Bills have a fancy new stadium like the big city teams.  Gee, that's terrific, now you get to sit next to a randomly rotating set of fans of the team you are playing.   Great.

    Sad, really.

I love this!  I've been watching him languish for years in DC.  He's really good.

yeah I live in DC and he is very good.   He's kind of a Deebo type, can run with it , catch it, very good all around.   Played with garbage QBs here so he will enjoy separating and having Josh stick the ball between his numbers at 100 mph.

We got a lot of guys we are taking in Rounds 1-2… and not many going in Rounds 5-7 where our actual picks are ..

Quick guess is Beane will trade away enough day 3 picks to move up that Bills will end up with maybe 6 picks, 7 max, and all in the first 4 or 5 rounds.   The 5-6,7 round picks will never make the team

Shocking. Didn’t he say he wanted to play for them while he was still under contract?

That's where he lives.   Obvious landing spot.  Sleep in your own bed most nights.  NIce.  Plus his crazy wife stayed there and rarely came to WNY.

Over 6 years.. the worst passer rating he's ever allowed throughout a season put him at #47 for all qualifying corners

He's also had multiple seasons where he's been in the top 30 and even once in the top 20 in passer rating against

I think he's squarely a mid-tier number two in a platoon for at least another year or two.. with physical limitations that make him only a fit for 7 or 8 teams

But those 8 teany who can get him cheap definitely don't get burned.. especially when they are platooning the number two guy to ,65-70% of snaps

we are one of the 7 or 8 teams

The biggest game every year is the final game.  And in elimination games, he's not "crazy to win"....he's terrible, throughout his career.

the better DCs just double cover him and that takes him (or anyone) away.   pretty simple solution .  Jerry f ing Rice ain't beatin NFL double coverage more than 3-4 times a game.  is what it is.   Josh wisely goes elsewhere with the ball , Diggs' stats fall and idiot fans think he's washed up.  geez....

Beane has done a great job building the line, both starters & depth.

Really, the most important unit when you have a true franchise QB.

Plus Tommy Doyle is coming back as well I believe.  Guy was rising when the ACL happened

Plus $14M to Dawson Knox which is essentially Kelce money and 5 times what they pay Gray as TE#2.

Between Miller, Tre and Knox that is $55M in cap.

the injuries to Von and Tre are not on the team.  just unfortunate events.   If Chris Jones and Kelce went down for the year, does that mean Reid should be fired for going 8-8?

Not trying to obsess about Kansas City but as a football fan, I’m genuinely curious as to whether Spagnuolo made adjustments at half time of various games and if so, what those adjustments were.  Not going to go through the entire season, just the two Bills games and the Super Bowl.  Also, not going to look at Miami, which was never going to be a threat against anyone in zero degree weather.  Baltimore was an anomaly. Even though it only scored three points, its offense was markedly better in the second half.  But in the two games against the Bills and the game against the 49ers, the stats are striking. Bills regular season - 14 first half points and 208 yards. Second half - 6 points and 119 yards.  Playoff game - 17 first half points and 225 yards. Second half - 7 points and 143 yards.  Super Bowl - 10 first half points and 204 yards. Second half - 9 and 112.

Has anyone come across any expert analysis as to what KC changed up, if anything, at the half of any of these games?

then stop obsessing about KC, please.   if Josh drives us in for a touchdown and wins the game, none of this "curiosity" would be happening.  Stop trying to diagnose something you have no real visibility into.  Please just stop.   It's basketball season, then its golf season.  Football season is over.   Let it freaking go.   geez.

I agree with your assessment of McLauren. While he’d be a great addition here I don’t see why Washington would trade him. Why would they trade away their best WR the same offseason they draft a QB with the second overall pick? They’ve currently got the most cap space in the league to boot. Makes no sense from their POV.

I live in the dc area and the skins aren't letting mclaurin get away thats for sure

The Jets game was just weird.  The season opener, Rodgers getting hurt early, Allen kind of falling apart.  But after that, we tore through September.  Allen was firing on all cylinders, and the defense was as good as I've seen in the McDermott era.  It was smothering, aggressive, flying to the ball.  Man, was that D good.

Our D when we faced KC at the end was a shell of that D.

Every team has to deal with injuries.  No doubt.  But seriously, who dealt w/ more, and which team was clearly impacted by losses? We lost Hines & Damien Harris before things really started.  Then, in one fell swoop, we lost Milano, Tre & Jones.  Arguably the top 3 guys on our defense.  Then we lose Benford, Rapp, Spector and Bernard, the latter of whom had picked up the slack in ways that were completely unexpected. So excited to see him AND Milano on the field this coming season.

It wasn't just that we had to navigate the playoffs without quite a few of our best players. Even some of the guys playing, like Rasul Douglas, were clearly playing hurt and less effective.

People always say the same thing:  "excuses, excuses."  To which I respond:  "reality."  If KC had the extent of injuries we had, and we were as healthy as they were, I have no issue saying that there isn't a snowball's chance in hell they would beat us.

Relative roster health between two teams is less important for a regular season game matters less bc it can even out over 18 weeks of the regular season.  Some games your team is banged up, the other team is healthy and you lose.   Then the situaion is reversed at another week.   But in a single elimination tournament, that one game where your team has a half dozen key players out and the other team is healthy, you go home and they are called a dynasty.   Its all garbage, i wish the 18 week regular season counted for a lot more as it is a better indication of who has the "dynasty".   Chiefs haven't won any more games than the Bills have in the past 5 years... so which team is the "dynasty"?
