I like having the 49ers game here.
Being that the Super Bowl Champs open the season on Thursday night, a Bills/49ers Super Bowl rematch makes the most amount of sense for that first Thursday game.
now that's the spirit; well said

No doubt PFF gets its fair share of skepticism here and it may well be deserved. However, they are helping to confirm what many Bills fans can see via eye tests. They have stolen an excellent CB and who fits like a sleek glove into their scheme.
All of you crazies that want to dismantle McBeanes are insane. They are killing it. Linval Joseph a good deal as well. Having said all that, I was completely wrong regarding D Hop. Man I wish we had THAT shiny object right about now ! Oh well, Beane can't win them all.

perfect. go bills.
although if there was one game to potentially lose , this non conference game would be it. Phins looking bad and they still need to play the Ravens and Cowboys. All will come down to week 18 in Miami it appears.

I voted 2. But I’m changing to letting him walk. He’ll be more valuable as a comp pick. Nothing wrong with it. He had immediate production as a rookie. Had an epic performance in playoffs. Good production for a 4th rd pick. He’s nothing special. And he’s only going downhill athletically at this point
this is the answer, yes. Give me the comp pick and the cap relief.

Even with a dome and enough hotel rooms, I’d think it would be too big of a risk because of potential blizzard conditions hitting. As most know, blizzard hits, no one is even getting to the stadium.in a weird sort of way a snowy SB would be kind of fun.. very different
-
can't even imagine a SB in WNY in the first week of Feb. OMG. what a disaster that would be with an outdoor stadium
-
pretty sure they are just trying to get him back in the building and work him out . any decision to actual putting him on the roster is another thing entirely
-
no one cares. All Pats news is dead to me. once they go through a few more years of required QB purgatory , I will begin to recognize their existence

Idk about the rest of you but it’s basically looking like he’s done. Obviously eating eat huge cap now and in the future, and no signs of ever being a difference maker.
LIke almost all ACL tears (for example Tre White's), the season after the injury is pretty much a waste as the player misses the entire off season workout program, mini camps and training camp, and this season is all about going back to playing football . I expect him to be much better next year, assuming his age doesn't start working against him

Happy for the kid.
I think teams have been waiting for the matter to be completely settled on the Civil side to potentially give Araiza a look in the off-season, so hopefully that will happen now.
exactly. nothing happening. in season unless with a team out of the running?

Given a chance to back his coach on national TV when Tracy Wolfson teed up the "what did this team show after the tumultuous week you guys had to deal with?" question, Josh instead was all about how the players "rallied behind each other, played for each other".
Probably reading too much into it, but still...
probably.
players play the games, coaches don't play the games. Josh and the players could give a sh-t about the tumult. they are trying to play and win football games.. they are the stars, they are the ones who win or lose games. and they know it.

Screw that. Dunne’s story was a character assassination piece pure and simple. Bush league
yep, he's no different than Stephen A. Smith or any other "content creator" who gets paid by the click or viewer count. Be as arrogant, boastful and outrageous as you can, screw the humans involved, they are just a means to a paycheck. F Tyler Dunne and the horse he rode in on. Even Joe Marino, who I thought was pretty straight up, fell for the "McD's a bad guy" storyline. McD screwed up, manned up and immediately apologized to anyone who would listen, but guys like Dunne grab it as a way to make a buck. f him.

Good. They’ve screwed us out of wins against the Patriots and Eagles.
but they gifted us wins against the Giants and Bucs by not calling blatantly obvious DPI in the end zone on final plays.
over 17 games, I'll guess that it all evens out and finally you need to best from scrimmage and healthy at the end of the season to have success

Von had a few effective rushes at the end. Bad game overall.
Unfortunately, Von needed to play more snaps when Epenesa went down early.
He won't be right until next year, although it looks like the gigantic brace has come off, which is probably big for him.
-
He's not done, just double covered every play. Plus teams play almost all cover 2 over top. Teams decided to take Diggs away this year, and they are doing so. Josh needs to go elsewhere with the ball most times. Make them pay for doubling Diggs. Run him straight down the field every play and throw underneath,
-
Their pass rush was/is great. Does that answer your question?
When healthy, Chris Jones wrecks every oline he faces.
Chris Jones was injured for the game last year , if memory serves.
-
time to go back and get the punt-g-d !! Matt Araiza. Get er done Beane.

You don't consider Toney lining up Offside as a gift ?
Broncos also gifted us a win when they missed a 41 yard FG. Unfortunately we returned the gift and gave them another shot with the 12 men penalty
Would be nice to see our defense close out a 1 score game without such extreme levels of drama
oh, poor baby. 12 pack not going down so well? Welcome to today's NFL, this is exactly how the league has set things up with the scheduling, the draft, everything; last minute, last game of the season drama, that's the whole point of selling advertising; you keep eyeballs on the game until the final minute of the final game.
if you don't have the stomach for it, go watch bowling. There are far fewer ads there as well.

His seat went from warm to on standby. Winning buys you time.
winning shuts posters like you and 90% of this "fire everyone" board up.
McD attacked the Chiefs in the final moments , was the Anti-Frazier and I will wait for the lunatics on this board to acknowledge that fact.
I think I'll be waiting a long time.

chiefs got a 1st down. fire McDermott, right? oh wait, two 1st downs, fire Beane as well, right?

Players play the game , not the coaches.

yep.
Hey where did all the legions of "Fire McDermott" posters go to? Where did they go? That's all you saw two weeks ago>. Fair weather fans they are.
