    You aren't wrong about our run D and how much we give up with short passes to the flats... They need a fix or we will see that again if we cannot play cover 0 against better receivers and load the box. But enjoy this one. A win is a win and this may not have been close sans those phantom calls erasing our early TD.

    Bass was probably as sick of his fail as we were and just reached that F-it zone. Cleared the bar with like 12 ft to go...could have been from farther away.

    They had the last game where he chewed us up to and our defensive staff came up with this. They don't invest or prioritize very highly run stoppers outside of going out an getting aging Jones.

    This DL is soft and far too light to hold up against teams that want to run and have some horses to do it.

    He is less effective against the run...teams either let him run past the play with some delay handoffs, or constantly wash him out with wham blocks. He held his own on a zone run, but no one was there for the cut back. McD's D is about light boxes and defending the pass not about to change.
