  1. You're kidding right? You obviously never watched Brown play. First off, he isn't injury prone, contrary to reports, he has been in the league 2 years, was the backup his first year and started 12 games last year. He looksed great in those games, and bring a complete game to Tenny. Taylor has obviously had some injury issues the last couple of years but if he is healthy he is one of the top backs in the league. Complete and total domination at that position in the NFL. Travis has as much if more injury issues then these two and is nowhere near the player that either of these two guys is. Travis would be a backup on either of those teams, period.
  2. Why don't you do some research and stop repeating what the majijuana is good pamplates tell you. Fact is over 1/4 million people go into drug rehab for marijuana use every year. How that compares to other drugs, I don't know but I bet it is right up there. I don't do drug, so no I never had "withdrawals" . Yes there are documented cases of people having, as BF calls them mental adiction" that they have withdrawal symptoms. I sure there are plus of folks who have died from marijuana use. Driving too slow can be just as deadly as driving too fast. Falling asleep in the wrong place, slowed reactions and unable to react to something, etc.etc.etc.... And no it is a Class one because it has been deemed to have no medicinal value. Only only a few cases of people with cancer/glaucoma who have used it who could be treated by better and more specific types drugs for their purpose.
  3. Bill, not sure where in Virginia they are retiring to. But a house like that, that was as close to the city as Williamsville is, in a good beighboodhood, would be at least a million dollars. From an Economic standpoint, and if you like the weather in retirement, Buffalo isn't a bad place to be. Too much government and taxes could kill you but with retirement income only it wouldn't be too bad, and yeah would be okay. Plus you could see the Bills play and get cheap seats. Mind you I would probably get some friends and buy an indoor box, just because I don't like that much cold anymore.
  4. They aren't making a lot more money either. It is sin taxes that are driving the prices up.
  5. Best: Washington, Lincoln Worst: LBJ, FDR I changed my mind on not putting FDR in the worst, but it was close.
  6. Ahh, just like downloading NIN cd's. It's only illegal if you get caught.
  7. Beer you can make legally. But can you legally make vodka? I wasn't aware of that. Just checked, it is illegal to make distilled alchohol without a license. So yeah you coould make beer and wine, but that's about it.
  8. Well they could restrict that just like alchohol. You can't make your own legally. But no they don't do that becuase the drug is addictive, and serves no purpose.
  9. Then so is opium and cocaine. Let's legalize them all. Wow, yet another opinion that is not fact based.
  10. What??? Again there you go spouting opinion with no facts. Taxes, oversight and regulation laws that would impose a lot of additiona; corporate taxes on companies that would grow and distribute. You think the government doesn't make a shitload of money off cigarettes? Wow you opinion doesn't match with fact. Go read a real book and stop reading poetry, you might learn something useful.
  11. I understand the difference. But do you and everyone understand what class I means. It means the drug serves no medical purpose what so ever and cannot be prescribed. Just because opium or LSD are more dangerous or addictive, doesn't mean it should be permitted. Yes it is metally addictive. Questionable on physically addictive, but as Tom points out, what really is the diffeence, if you experience the crave and need for it, you are showing physical signs of addition, even if the "effects" are only mentally driven.
  12. You mean ones that are not conduted by openly drug legalization groups or others that would profit from legalization of drugs?
  13. So you spout a bunch of bull sh-- opinions that have no basis in fact. Not very credible for a moron with such a high "IQ".
  14. http://www.nida.nih.gov/Infofacts/marijuana.html Yes Yes and the answer to the third, probably not directly. But no I don't see it as a gateway drug, I see it as a full scale problem drug.
  15. No what I said was there are several movies I enjoy that are really not good movies, and I recognize there are movies that I don't like that are really good movies. However, the ones that fall into either good movies or enjoyable movies seems to have really dwindled. The last 2 star wars were neither good nor enjoyable. Seven, like I said, enjoyed it, but it really had too many holes in the story line and left too much out there thus not making it a good movie overall. Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan, Fight Club, Fast and fusious and things like that were targeted for the wow factor and had terrible acting, poor direction and overall production quality was low. They targeted an audience with "Shoke and Awe" and while it sold, doesn't make it a good or "classic" movie. Think about some other that were similar, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Footloose, etc... again targeted movies for specific crowd, but poor acting, etc.... Think in 50 years will go down as a classic, those are good movies.
  16. Marijuana is a Class I drug like LSD, heroin, etc... for a reason.
  17. Most people with BAC that high are more likely looking for a corner to crawl into and go to sleep. Legalize one, you might as well legalize them all, why make a distinction.
  18. The LPGA will not let someone turn pro prior to them having 2 years in college. They do give exeptions a lot but they want someone who has a complete game, and mature enough. For as good as Paula Creamer, the Songs, etc.. are there are plenty more on their version of the Nike tour. Remember the LPGA has a much harder time marketing, and coming up with tournaments. In fact they just shortened it this year. They have to market "sex" appeal and 15 year old are not sexy, unless you have issues. Michelle Wie's a cute kid, and a damn good golfer. While she has a team behind her that she could probably turn pro and have no real problems, they do not want to set a presidence and have a bunch of 15 year old kids with game turning pro, having no backing and basically ruining their "free" college chances and ability to get some other free training that isn't available to pros.
  19. Never saw as good as it gets. Tom Hanks is a good actor but he couldn't make SPR or A13 a good movie. Good Will Hunting wasn;t good and Seven, while I enjoyed it was really not a good movie. There are several movie I like that I will watch over and over but they are not "good" movies. Rambo, Blade, and those types are good enjoyable movies, but the production, and actoring was poor at best.
  20. LiKe Amnesty International right?
  21. Washington is the only one of 8 states where what you say is true. In every other state the ruling would be for the state and they would be permitted to take your land if they deemed that someone else could make better use of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susette_Kelo_...ew_London_et_al
  22. In my opinion, original screenplay, good acting, good direction, minimal plot holes, and something that keep you enganged most of the movie. Something that I can't wait to either watch it again or wait for video to come out so I can see a several more times. Again though probably the thing that gets me about movies is terrible acting. If the actors sound corny then they aren't believable, and therefore a terrible fit for the role. Oh and to answer the other poster, Incredibles was watchable, but the "voice acting" wasn't that good, and it's basically not an original storyline. Few funny lines, but....
  23. I have seen it. I own it. However, I struggle watching it. Not because it is a bad movie, but because of the subject matter. I have probably seen most of them.
  24. Daddy Day Care also didn't make a top 10 list but I thought it was a good movie as well.
