  3. You jealous?
  4. And yet during the presidential election this was on the ballot in several key states, and was considered part of the reason that a large part of the population came out and voted to disallow gay marraiges, and hence helped get the conservatives out voting for Bush. As you say, stupid or not, it is a key issue that will get voters out. Especially the conservative vote which is good for the Republican party. Other then the fringe of the democrat party there are few that either care or want gay marraiges.

  7. He is a congressman, he has a means to ensure it doesn't just get swept under the rug. Plus as a former Marine he should know some people who could follow up. Things like this do not just get swept under the rug, and as you will find out from looking at the facts, there are 6 Marines in the brig and have been there for a while in Pendelton, the two officers directly in charge had been relieved in february long before Murtha couldn't keep his mouth shut, and endangered troops in the region. The Corps and NIS had been investigating it for a while. Murtha and his left side decided to get some airtime out of it, and what better spokesman then a former Marine, who will sell out his own, to further his own cause rather then worry about the troops. Here's what some fellow Marines think about the whole thing. http://fontman.smugmug.com/photos/72941216-M.jpg
  8. Oh I can guarantee, that if they are found guilty I will be blaming their officers for failure to recognize and I will be calling for them to be punished. But what Murtha is doing is dangerous to the troops there for two reasons. One they will start doubting what they are supposed to do instead of reacting quickly to a bad situation. That gets fellow Marines dead. Second it just continues to feed the insurgents and gives them "bad US" stories when the guys have not even been charged yet. Again this is political and is another case of liberals trying to push the agenda regardless of the troops. Murtha doesn't care about the troops otherwise he would not have said anything until the appropriate time.
  9. No, but do you moron? http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=701609
  10. year beerball, every kknows that tbone gives NG the full lapdance.
  11. As as a former Marine, who is for the most part just as highly decorated as Murtha, I find his presumption of guilt and lack of thought of the effects this will have on the troops still there, extremely un-patriotic and criminal.
  12. Even after Fat Bennie, Sam Adams, Pat Williams, and Mike Williams got done?
  13. The only way it happens is if a sitting president gets disenfrancized early in his/her term with their party and switches to one of the third term parties.
  14. No not for every player, but the younger ones, and those that just getting starting time should be there. I think CB's are less important, as well as RB's. WR's as well don't really need to be there other then for timing purposes. But young linemen especially on the offense need to be there.
  15. My only complaint is that Fouts and that Chargers was probably #1 or #2. I think the Rams and Colts of recent years belonged on the list but not as high as they have them. Also I believe the Redskins we played in the SB had a better offense then our, primarily becuase that maybe the best offensive line ever assembled.
  16. You know there are certain people that probably don't need to be there, like Clements, however, Peters who only moved into the starting role partway through the season and only being a second year player should be there. This is very disappointing and maybe with the signing of Gibson, he was told either he wasn't guarenteed the spot at RT, or he's pouting. Seems to me that should he ever expect to move to the left tackle spot for the big payday, he should take advantage of every opportunity to learn and practice.
  17. Oh you mean like I called out cunningham and delay above? Just checking. BTW, If I did that you would go poor as I drink the good stuff, not piss in a can.
  18. And again, you don't read what I said. Your politics seem to get in the way of your common sense. If Murtha had access to investigative details, he is hindering the investigation by divulging it. Also, he is putting the men and women there into harms way by not allowing the military to release the info after they have a chance to shore up and protect the troops in country from reprisals, before it is announced. He is going to get troops killed if they have to "think" rather then react to an evolving situation. Finally he is hurting the reputation of the troops involved if they in fact are found innocent. Again, your bias is showing. BTW, Murtha is playing politics as he is in a fight to win his seat again, and doing a poor job of it.
  19. No, again, there are no charges, and to pre-convict before anything is wrong. If you will read what I said, he charged, tried and convicted before hand. That is wrong. Again, if found guilty then punish them, but not before hand. All that did was open the troops up there to extra concerns about "waht is a justified assault" and potentially turning more insurgents against troops, before the US has a chance to react and shore up in case they know of something.
  20. My point is, for every story where JC can come up with a Bush Bad, Cheney bad, repub congresscritter bad, there is another where a dem story can also be found. There is a difference however between scandal/illegal and just not something someone doesn't like. I may disagree with how Bush is fighting the war, I may disagree morally with some of the things he does, however it appears for the most part to be with somewhat good intentions and little impropriety. However goes like Cunningham, Reid, Cheney, Lay, etc.... seem to use their position and power to get ahead and then vote or get legislation going the way they want. Give me the honest person who is trying to do good, even if others don't agree, or even I don't agree, over the one who seems to have his string pulled by interest groups.
  21. Are you going to tell me those tickets were less then $50. Bullsh_it. They cost in excess of a thousand dollars and are illegal at every level. Also, why he did vote against certain aspects he certainly voted to pass legislation. In fact it was his own bill. BTW, the other two he invited where Mccain who paid for his ticket to the toon of $1400, and Ensign who recused himself from voting on the legislation. http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews....htm?source=rss Again, read facts, and actually read what you sent me. Even if the tickets qualified as an exepted gift it still must fall within the onetime 99.99 limit and less then 250 total per year.
  22. What does this have to do with Reid getting several thousand dollars in ring side tickets for a boxing match, all while "voting" to open up gambling?
  23. Well the way they have played the last 2 games: "There's no time for lubrication"
