Wouldn't break my hear if we never saw AJ undersized-Epenesa ever again in a Bills uniform.
That's what Tua said. Although he didn't actually SEE him.

There are FOUR major issues heading into the offseason that need addressing immediately, if not sooner:
- Von Miller. They HAVE to find some way to convince him to retire outright, he's done. Damn it beane, that contract is an albatross.
- Dawson Knox. He's wildly overpaid. Again, Pay cut or potential cut.
- Tre White. Waste of a roster spot at this point. Sucks, but that's reality in the NFL. His career in buffalo is over.
- Stefon Diggs. Has lost his quickness, and now he can't catch any more, either. He's done.
These four contracts are like lead shoes, and we're in a swimming pool. Gotta get creative and find a way to clear out this mess. Wish Beane luck. Of course my dream scenario is out there with Chicago, but that'll never happen. Ideally, I'd like to see us trade out of round one, for multiple twos and threes and start restocking.
The good news is our first round pick got more valuable last night.
On a side note, did you really name this thread after yourself?

I have been in the “fire McDermott” camp since last year’s playoff loss.
Bit the turnaround this team made after falling to 6-6 was nothing short of remarkable.
I am also normally the LAST person to make excuses … especially injuries.
Every team is dealing with injuries in January.
But this team had NO ONE defending the middle of the field against the most prolific QB/pass catcher duo in NFL history. I thought holding them to 27 was admirable.
Like I said, I we could upgrade, I’d be all for it.
I’m still not a McDermott fan.
I simply don’t put this loss on him, that’s all.
I'm with you, I thought McD should go after all the inexcusable losses this season, but these last 7 games it's been clear that these guys will play their hearts out for him, and "next man up" (which sounds like most of the meaningless BS that comes out of his mouth) may actually be a THING

Allen unnecessarily went into hero ball mode.
More than anything else, I think that is why we lost.
That's what I love about this board, you can say whatever you want without regard to facts.

Ya, I'm not piling on coach
The D actually stepped up huge late and gave the O multiple opportunities to score/win
If by "stepped up huge" you mean "actually forced a punt for crying out loud," I agree.

While walking down Southwestern Boulevard to my car in the gloom and cold last night, the following question stuck in my head:
Why is it so goddamn hard for our offense to make a single play?
Why does Josh have to kill himself for a first down? Why does he have to make pinpoint throws across his body for touchdowns? Why is every receiver covered so easily?
I take a look at other games, like the Detroit game, and I see playmakers schemed open with ease. Goff is an alright quarterback but he’s helped by guys who are easily open on their own.
I don’t know whether it’s scheme or talent or both, but it shouldn’t be so difficult to just sustain a drive.
Case in point, we STILL cannot run a screen to save our lives. Brady kept dialing up screens to Kincaid or Diggs that would gain a few, but never a back-breaking 25 yard catch-and-run.
Or, Josh throwing a nice ball over the middle to Cook. Would have been an easy touchdown, but it was dropped. Why does he have to truck 6 defenders just to keep a drive alive?
Why is it so hard for us?
You have 4 elements to a great passing game: time for the QB to throw, a great QB, great receivers and an excellent scheme.
The QB we already knew. And last night the OL was great. So it must be one of the other two elements that is failing us.

Mahomes deserves the accolades. He went into Buffalo and beat the Bills. To imply or diminish this accomplishment is kind of crazy. Mahomes led his team to victory if that includes a Pacheco so be it.
Mahomes showed the football world why he's the best QB on the planet. What Josh did is an afterthought because his team lost. He will be answering upcoming questions about why he and his team can't sustain consecutive playoff wins. The ghost is appearing on his back. The elephant is in the room.
Home run. The silence tells you all you need to know.
The same people will be ramming the McD walks on water narrative come next season. Denial runs deep.
If you could undo all the trades, and we had Mahomes and Jefferson instead of Josh, Tre and Diggs, would you?

Forgive me for thinking our luck had changed when:
1. Josh didn't get called for a forward lateral (RIP Frank Wychek and Kedarius Toney)
2. KC fumbles through the end zone
3. Refs get both of the aforementioned right.
Then - wide right.
The football gods were just effing with us.

there's nothing that is medium 10,15-20 yards plays. the lack of pass plays in this playbook is terrible.
This has been a problem all season. Josh used to be deadly on those crossing routes over the middle. Last night I don't remember a single complete pass that traveled 10 yards in the air

I thought our luck had changed when that fumble went through the end zone.

That’s remarkable. From a pure fandom perspective I’m glad he is a go.
From a human perspective, this is this guys 5th concussion of his career and he can play in 6 days? Nobody in the NFL gives a shirt about player health or safety, and the independent neuro’s must be on the take.
You've got a point. I think I'll never watch football again.

Understand and you're right. But, one thing that noticed watching the San Fran/GB game was all the fans just sitting in the stands. No emotion, just a relaxing evening a football. 🙄
It's a playoff game at home!! Get up!! Cheer!!! Scream!!! Take your shirts off (ladies only, of course!!!) Just struck me as weird.
They got tired of winning, like Trump promised.

Elmo Wright. He invented the touchdown dance. Look at this video at around the 3:55 mark

Most undeserving fanbase of all is clearly Baltimore. They stole the team from Cleveland just before they won a superbowl, and they were all high-fiving each other as if it had anything to do with Baltimore.

It's been a hell of a journey he's been on with us. I remember back when we signed him, I'd only had these underpants on for 4 days, now I'm about to clear a week. Amazing how time flies
You'd have to change them if he actually punted in a game.

Bills are going to get hosed by the zebras this weekend. The league really wants Taylor Swift at the superbowl.
