  1. Yup! And it's not like mine gets hacked every week but maybe one a year or so. My wife checks the statement every day and she'll catch it. I suggest all of you do the same. This past time someone spent $500 in a Sears someplace in the midwest.

HAve had my credit card compromised 3 different times over the years, my debit card never. I think the way I chose to use my debit card is a big part of that.

  2. I've been saying this for years - most people roll their eyes and say it's no big deal. I've stopped evangelizing it. Never smart to use your own money when you can use someone else's interest free with more protection - and usually with a reward to boot.

I want to be clear, I NEVER make purchases online or in restaurants with my debit card. Only point of purchase (grocery store, self checkout, etc). Any purchase made online or in a situation where I have to GIVE my card number or my card leaves my sight, I use my Credit Card and all the protections that come with it.

You've got quite a habit of putting altered words in other people's mouths to justify your righteous outrage

As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more accurate subject lines. The topic starter can edit the subject line to make it more appropriate.

    Thank you.

Really Simon? My original title was misleading? The full quote and Paul Hamilton story I took it from with the same title was in my first post. As for the no audibles due to Fitz not knowing how many times they want CJ to have the ball; that's a direct quote from Chan on Monday on Howard Simon's show. Here's the link. http://audio.wgr550.com/a/66965602/11-26-chan-gailey-describes-what-went-wrong-in-indianapolis.htm?pageid=401026

    Where are my altered words?

  4. What do you expect him to say? Cut his QB off at the knees in the middle of the season? How does that help? I doubt any of us has any idea what he really thinks. He is playing with cards he is dealt. Fitz is the best and only option on the roster for now.

Considering earlier this week Chan said Fitz isn't allowed to audible because he may give the ball to CJ and Fitz doesn't know how many times he (Chan) wants CJ to get the ball, I think Chan should just stop talking all together.

  5. From today's media day...

We’ve always said we’re looking to develop a quarterback for the future, but I don’t think it’s the near future. I think we’re talking about Fitz being the guy for us and as we continue to get better, I think he’s going to be the guy. So I see us being able to be very productive as an offense with Fitz at quarterback. I’ve always said that and I believe that.”

What have we as Bills fans done to deserve this? :bag::wallbash::sick:

  6. Not one question about a qb change. Not one question about why Jackson can't even dress

    Sad

Because they ask this question EVERY week and Chan's answer is always that there is no chance he plays. They raked him over the coals on Spiller, punting instead of field goal, the play calling at the end of the half, punting with 3 minutes left and even made him listen to Stevie's comments about letting Fitz call his own play at the line when need be.

That was no sissy interview. If all you heard was no talk about Tarvaris Jackson, your ears don't work.

  7. A Bills game is no place for kids. In other news, water is wet.

SCREW THIS AND SCREW YOU. Its !@#$s like you who think only drunken douchbags should be allowed at the game that have ruined the entire experience and make me personally no longer care whether the team stays or goes.

My dad used to take me to games when I was a kid. I will NEVER take my son to a game. An experience both of us miss out on because douchtools like you think that your right to drink until you puke, piss on people and swear up a storm supersedes my right to enjoy the game.

  8. Well in the continuing aftermath (and there's a game the day after tomorrow so hopefully the team has moved on), Stevie has legitimized Hamilton's criticism with a similar criticism and as I posted earlier, I agree that you go to your great players in these situations.

ALSO Gailey has assumed a lot of the responsibility for that pick by stating that he should have made a different play call.

It's too bad that the Bills didn't challenge the spot on the play where Spiller thought he scored a TD. The officials spotted the ball at the five when the replay clearly showed Spiller stepping out at the 4.

In the confusion, the Bills were forced to call a timeout. If anyone in the booth was awake, they would have thrown the challenge flag, got a yard closer, and more importantly saved a timeout.

Part of the failure of the Fitz int is that the team was rushing and disorganized. If they had a timeout left it would have been very helpful.

I blame the injured players. Roll your ass off the field in the last 2 minute!

  9. Although then you watch a team like the Chiefs last night and realize Gailey's play calling is light years ahead of some teams...even if it frustrates Bills fans.

Yeah, that Chief team is a mess. Romeo Cromel looks like he's completely checked out. And that little fat kid who seems to be their Offensive Coordinator was on the bench yelling at Cassal but seemed like he was yelling about the binder full of pictures being stuck and having no clue what to do. He looked completely over his head.

I admit, Chan seems engaged, but I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think he can think on his feet fast enough to be an effective play to play coach.

  10. I feel sorry for him and all the other guys that cover this team on WGR. They are the Bills station, so I am sure they have to wrap this turd up in at least some kind of wrapping paper. But doing that week after week and year after year has made them and us pretty testy.

Wouldn't you all love a competitive team, with a shot at the playoffs to talk about? Them too.

And for those who argue that they get paid, never had a crappy job they hated. Money isn't everything. Paul sounds down right despondant.

This morning he was out and out yelling at Howard Simon about how this offense NEVER makes the big play at the end of the game when it has the chance... NEVER!!!

I thought he was going to pop. I agree with you. Its hard for us to be fans, but imagine trying to objectively cover this team and not get caught up in being depressingly negative all the time.

  11. Possible. Or SJ running his mouth. I have my opinion on which is more likely.

BTW, I deleted my post thinking the OP deleted that tweet in his, but now I see he just reordered them.

It was a mess when I first pasted them, so I just took the text of the tweets and put them in the order that they originally showed up.

I have to believe that based on the particular receiver you are, there are certain routes you are assigned and some you are not. I think I can trust that Stevie knows that TJ had not worked in formations that had him running that particular route.

The thing that worries me the most about this is that Stevie has been one of Chan's biggest supporters and this comment make it seem he feels like maybe Chan can't keep up with the what's going on on the field.

  12. Stevie quotes from Joe B on WGR

    @JoeBuscaglia

Stevie Johnson said that TJ Graham had never run the route he did on the #Bills final play vs. NE in either practice or a game.

Stevie continued: "But in that situation I guess things was hurried up and we had people in positions where maybe they shouldn't have been."

More from Stevie "I'm more experienced with that route, Donald is and Scott is more experienced with that route...

...So I think in that situation we should of had some more experience there." #Bills
