  1. Hey guys, just wait, this Dolphins team with Myles Gaskin and Preston Williams in the skill positions will somehow overcome a 2 game disadvantage in just the next few weeks, while the Bills apparently forget how to play football.

Anybody outside of the obvious trolls really believe this? If the Jets win this week are we gonna hear some rumblings about how they may have a better team if you huff paint and really think about it? Maybe if it's "convincing" enough.

I know it's hard for some Bills to fathom especially after the first month of the season when the Bills looked like a possible SB team including beating these same Dolphins in the process but just remember it's not how you start, it's how you finish so nobody will be shocked at the final division standings this year.

For the record, this guy has been trashing a 6-2 team, while simultaneously crowning a 4-3 team, for weeks. There's no logic involved. Certainly no IQ. Just pure, exhausting, trolling.

  3. Clearly Edmunds. I'm rooting for the guy but I get a lot of the anger. I still think he puts it all together eventually.

Klein is awful but I didn't have a ton of hope for him anyway. I've seen a few people try to defend him for always being in the right spot, despite being too late to do anything but flail his arms and miss the tackle. He truly doesn't do anything, I don't care about how much football intelligence he may have.

Will mix it up a bit and add that Harrison Phillips has been a disappointment in general too. I remember hopeful chatter about him being Kyle 2.0 when we first picked him. Not quite.

  4. The confident "one and done" playoff team touts are lazy. This team has already beat the Raiders and Dolphins this year. Two teams currently looking like playoff bubble teams. The type that would have a good shot to play a division winning #3 seed.

Also, despite an all-world defensive roster, the Ravens have been looking pretty beatable lately. Signed, frustrated Lamar Jackson fantasy owner.

We barely beat new England’s practice squad

    You guys are funny

No, that was the actual team...

I get being contrarian but you guys are truly just making stuff up right now in an effort to bash this 6-2 team. It’s weird. Practice squad, really?

That's an honest guess. This Patriots team is not good. This Patriots team is a loss or two away from tanking. And now Edelman is out? I'm not afraid of Belichick with this roster, unless of course he's finally able to shove himself into a 14 foot android body like Krang and stomp around the field himself

I'll take it further and bet that Singletary finally breaks out a bit and has a nice game. Say 80 on the ground and a TD. I know the Patriots are supposed to be good at defending the run, despite not being good at anything else, and therefore they still deserve respect, but I really think we mandhandle this team. They're a mess and ready for a beatdown from a good team.

  7. To be fair though the Cowboys are about to start a guy at QB whose own neighbors may not even know that he plays football. Some of these 3rd string QB options are unreal...are their dads just friends with the GMs or something? Going through the league right now and I truly haven't even heard of some of these guys. Easton Stick? It's like I'm in the 17th season of Madden Franchise mode. How in the world is Fitz not getting millions of dollars thrown at him right now?

Didn’t come in w EJ in 2013? Christ that would make this his 8th season? Lucky bastard

Right?! I guess I understand that the Jags are playing for nothing in which case Mike Glennon is probably the perfect QB, but I can think of numerous QB's that have come and gone since then that inspire more hope than Mike Glennon. Cardale Jones? Heck, maybe give me EJ? And I'll ask the flat out obvious - who would anybody rather have? Kaepernick or Mike Glennon? They played at the same time! Glennon was eating a bunch of high hanging flowers on the sideline while Kaep was winning playoff games.

If I’m not mistaken a player on the IR cannot be traded, once he went on the IR it’s a minimum of three weeks and past the trade deadline.

Cheers, that's what I'm missing. He's coming off but I wasn't aware of the 3 week minimum conflicting with the trade deadline. Also, Yahoo for whatever reason is claiming that "Ertz can still be traded".

I mean, it literally tells you in the linked article that Ertz can no longer be traded this year. "this year, you have to designate guys on IR as having major or minor injuries, and guys categorized as having minor injuries can’t be traded. The Eagles designated Ertz as a minor injury, so that’s that on him"  Thus my comment, "Read people, read"

So I look forward to the next 5 pages of proposed Ertz trades

Circling back on this since I just made those Ertz comments, he-yo.

Link now leads to something on the Broncos. Why can't Ertz be traded? Reading on Yahoo right now that as of 10/22 he can still be traded, so what am I missing? Seems like one of the only realistic upgrades for this team so I'm genuinely curious. He's projected to come back in just a couple weeks.

  11. Ertz Ertz Ertz

What am I missing? Thought there'd be more chatter about this and now think I'm dumb and overlooking something obvious. I feel like this is one of the only possible realities that will upgrade this team right now. He's coming back from his current injury this year, he's not happy in Philly, he's talented. Likely a process dude, etc. Seems like a perfect fit.

  12. I don't think I've ever disliked a possible pick-up more. No. He's really bad. And not a process dude clearly, unless the process now consists of reforming first round draft picks with awful attitudes that have drifted through 3 teams already in their career. This guy probably won't be in the league in a year or two.

Would much rather we just throw what we reasonably can at Ertz. I think that's the potential pick-up that's being overlooked right now. I like Dane Jackson far more than Eli Apple.

The age excuse doesn't fly anymore.

But...when you're talking about an athletic freak who's still only 22 years old, it does. Also, who exactly are we going to replace him with? Klein? Maybe throw some Matakevich in there? Some far worse player on the streets right now? Yes, you let the 22 year old take his lumps when there's truly nobody else behind him.
