  1. Huge difference is that Bears depleted there talent, didn’t add to it. And lost Vic. The Bears weren’t active in free agency, actually lost there best offense player in Howard. Then didn’t pick in the 3rd round which lead to a bad draft ( Montgomery was good)

how is Allen better than Tribusky ? Trubisky had a much better year statistically than Allen did. in their year 2's

they are about the same right now.

Allen has more total tds and less turnovers than Mitch did in year two

That's a good post. I'm native to SoCa. I've been living south of Boston for many years now (close to Gillette). I find Boston people a little harder to get close to but once you get to know them they make great friends. Second to none. In SoCo I can make 10 best friends in a day but they aren't worth a *****. I find Western NY to have solid people that I like but I'm the kind of guy that tries to make the best of every situation and if it's not good I just keep moving. People are pretty much the same everywhere for the most part. And almost all people are good. 1%ers are everywhere as well. Merry Christmas to you and you family.

    Great post and well said.

This has been my problem with McDermott's conservative approach.

He thinks his defense is better than it is and he thinks he needs to protect his young QB more than he should.

That's a bad recipe for a one 'n done playoff scenario.

Oh please, the defense is one of the best in the league. New England doesn’t lose in foxboro for a reason.

    Duck Hodges in his 3 starts passed for 132 yds 1td 1int, 212 yds 1td 1int & 152yds 1td 0int.......wtf am i missing here?!?!?

In 3 starts he has 496 passing yards 3td 2int......you guys are impressed by that or are you letting the media tell you he's doing a good job when all he's doing is trying to not lose a game?

Couldn’t agree more, dude sucks and is about to put up a Brandon Allen type of game. McDermott is going to shut him down, expecting a 3 turnover game

our defense has had "good days" almost every week.

but if our offense plays like they did vs the Ravens we aren't beating that Pittsburg team. Steelers defense is much more disciplined and can defend the run. Tomlin also never loses at home on primetime. it is going to be a much tougher matchup than fans think.

Dabboll needs to wake up bc his job is on the line in these next 3 weeks, and Josh needs to improve

Couple of big differences. Since Marcus Peters that defense for Baltimore has been lights out. They can in blitzing 48% of the time cause they have 3 number 1 corner backs. They allowed 13 ppg. Secondly, the offensive game plan had to be more aggressive to counter Baltimore’s offense.

We don’t need to do that, they can be more conservative and focus on the run/play action more. I expect a similar offensive effort to when we played Tennessee. That will be good enough

Ravens D is better. Ever since the loss to CLE they’ve been dominant. Don’t let the ranks fool you.

Yep that’s right around when they got Marcus peters. That trade shifted there defense. Peters, Jimmy Smith and Humphrey is a ridiculous cb trio. That’s what gives them the flexibility to blitz 48% of the time (heading into the Buffalo game).

This is me. I don't know what the hell to do all day. Need to wear my four year old out so he'll go to bed early. I normally put him to bed every night, and that's around 8:20-8:30.

Little sh*t needs to be worn out and in the bed by 7:30!?

I’ve got a 3 year old and close the door at 7:45/8pm. Good luck!

Part of me keeps hoping they have been holding out on us for the stretch run, silly though it may be. But as long as Allen keeps developing chemistry with these guys and gets the chance to do his thing instead of playing ultra conservative we can get it done. Just get to the playoffs.

I don’t think that but I do think they were holding back to help Allen understand the importance of taking care of the rock. I truly believe the misfires is cause he was afraid of the turnover. His deep balls last year were rarely overthrown, underthrown yes, bad yes but he gave his wrs a chance last year

That’s because you don’t know what you’re talking about -as evidenced in most of your posts. Tyrod had 4 years in the League before becoming a Bill. He was at his peak on Day 1 here and he actually digressed once every team knew he would never attack the middle of the field. Allen has 18 games played in 1.5 years. He continues to improve.

You need only have to remove the unsubstantiated hate.

Exactly, he had 4 years to practice his craft before having to take over a team. Having the luxury to do that in any profession would give you the leg up on a new employee.
