Yeah it isn't just a one sided protect the player situation, Tua definitely has a side to this of wanting to be out there for what is a very limited opportunity to try and make his dream a reality. Just a tough situation all around.
So I just saw the McDaniels' clip on the NFL network did they rule out Tua or did they say they were going to prepare under the assumption that he would be because he has to have no setbacks?
If I had to translate that I'd say he's saying just because everything is lining up for a certain story doesn't mean we'll get the ending we want, still have to go out there and get it.
Good for him to get the experience I guess, also never rule out terrible teams making terrible choices. Dorsey is coming along as a 1st year play caller but I'd think you'd want him to have a bit more experience doing that before calling him up.
