Wouldn't those that support the government doing what they are doing to private business be the communists? -

The issue isn't about Twitter, or any other media platform, it's about what our government has and is doing to try to influence and control what media platforms print or allow. I'm sympathetic to Twitter, Facebook and other media platforms. Having the govt opining what should or shouldn't be allowed is a tough spot for 'em. The problem, as I see it, is the government's attempts to monitor, influence and restrict our press and free speech. -

Both can be true. Taibbi acknowledged the mistakes Hasan found and he corrected them. -
Public schools are the government. Parent's elect their representatives, both legislative and school board. Good faith discussions are a part of the democratic process and people are electing their representatives based on those discussions (campaigns). It sounds to me the process is occurring just as you describe, and you just don't like the result. School employees have never had the final say. public input has always existed. There have always been boundaries. Over the past decade, our govt employees at schools have pushed the envelope. Citizens have reacted to that. And here you are reacting to that reaction. Democracy is working.

White going to the Dolphins to back up Tua. Sure appears to me that the Jets think they gave Rodgers.

GQP: A 30 PERCENT NATIONAL SALES TAX
Pokebball replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's not this simple, however. I can speak to Wyoming very well. We've got two major federal highways through our state. We've got 1 of 3 nuclear air force bases. We've got one of the largest national parks and we've got one of the highest federal land ownerships in the nation. We've got very significant federal expenditure in our state for these and many other reasons. Then consider our denominator, having the smallest population of all states in the union. Our deficit is huge. Our per capita federal spending is huge. -

He won't ever play in the NFL again if he brings such a lawsuit. -
I haven't seen this mentioned in this thread yet. Dobler is a fellow UW alumni along with Josh. He played at Wyo during the Black 14 incident.

Week in and week out, I see WRs from other teams high point passes and win 50/50 balls. We don't have any of those WRs in our room. Diggs is one of the best route runners in the game, and effectively creates space. Davis just isn't good at creating space on his initial route. Nor is he good at high pointing a pass and coming down with those 50/50 balls. He's OK, but he's not where other #2s are. And that said, someone posted how the really good teams no longer have a #1 and #2, but rather have two #1s. Our Bills WR room is really weak in comparison to other top teams WR rooms.
