  1. Back in 2020, Josh changed up his footwork on intermediate and deep throws. Almost reminiscent of how Rodgers throws sometimes, with his right foot coming parallel to the line of scrimmage as he's throwing. I noticed Jordan Love did it a few times this past Sunday as well. Allen was deadly accurate when he would throw like that. It took some velocity off of his throws, but that is perfectly fine for a guy with a big arm like his. Does anyone remember what I'm referring to? I wonder what happened and why anyone would have had him change his footwork again when that worked so well.
  2. There was always the unknown during each off season; hoping and praying that maybe this new coach will turn things around or that new journeymen QB was the piece we've been missing. It made things sort of exciting in a dark and strange way but we were the Bills, deep down I knew we would be losers. Some years we would start out on fire, like the first year Bledsoe was here or when Trent Edwards became the starter and looked quite promising but ultimately we would fall apart and watch Brady run away with another division title. It made every draft really exciting because I always thought maybe this would be the year that we finally get lucky and get the right pieces to finally have a winning team. Nobody in the national media talked about the Bills and we rarely ever got a primetime game, none the less a home field game. Fast forward to the present day and we are far and away the media darlings. Everybody is picking us to win the SB. Announcers are gushing over our QB like they used to with Favre, Manning, Rodgers, Brady and Mohomes. Every sports talk show personality, locally and nationally, can't get enough of how dominating the Josh Allen led Bills are right now. It's all, kind of....weird! I love it but it's something I'm not used to. It's like I feel a ton more pressure when they play. These Bills are not the lovable losers anymore: They are the team that opposing teams are afraid of and circle on their schedules. I definitely don't miss the losing, I just worry they won't live up to these insanely high expectations. Go Bills!
  3. I'm thinking we hire Rex back as Josh's personal feet warmer
  4. I drafted him as a rookie in my dynasty FF league and I've held on to him his entire career. I made a big trade right before week 1 and finally unloaded him, thus ending the curse I apparently had on him. Of course the team I traded him to was the team I played week one and the guy torched me. I don't care what anyone says, if I hadn't of traded him he would have had 2 catches for 17 yards and a high ankle sprain.
  5. So...After canceling my service, I never did receive a call trying to get me back. I did however receive an email stating that they want me back and had a special deal for me. I called the number and it took me to an automated answering service asking me to either dial my extension or search by name. No where in the email did it mention to dial an extension or anything. Obviously, I wasn't able to actually reach anyone. I then decided to say screw it, I bundled my internet and cable with Comcast which will end up saving me over $100/month. I also took someone's advice and signed up for an IPTV service so that I can watch the games and premium channels I didn't sign up for with Comcast. I called DirecTV back to end my service at an earlier time (I originally wanted my service to end at the beginning of September) than I had originally planned and the rep was like "no problem, man. I'll put it in for you" and hung up. Literally no fight or attempt to keep me. It's a shame what has happened to DirecTV. Shortly there after I received another email with the same number and after calling again I had the same results. What a friggin joke.
  6. Ok, I tried calling again today. This time straight to retentions. She had nothing to offer me again...so I cancelled. I set the date about 40 days ahead to give myself some time. She happily let me cancel, told me what to do with my equipment and sent me on my merry way. Never mentioned sending me to "the retention expert" or anything. I suppose I'll bundle my internet and cable with Comcast and find an alternative method to watch football. I guess they don't need a customer of 14 or 15 years anymore?
  7. I have always received credits. Some years have been better but I always received something. This was the first time I was told there was nothing they would offer.
  8. I've heard of this happening before. I think I might pony up and give it a try. My only concern is that I still have a little over a year left on my contract. Oh well though, if I do actually have to cancel I'll find other ways to watch the Bills games.
  9. I have had DirecTV since 2004 with Sunday Ticket every year. I can usually get something out of them each time I call but I called last night and was told they can not offer me anything. So I got on the chat today with the retention department. I told them that I am not happy with a number of things and one of them being their complete disregard in keeping a loyal customer of 15 years by not having a single promo for me to take advantage of. I asked how much it would cost for me to cancel and explained that the only reason I have the service is for the NFL Sunday ticket and that I would save a ton of money by bundling my internet and TV with Comcast. They offered me NOTHING. The person on the chat started asking me what channels I watch and all of that nonsense to try to drop my bill a few bucks. I stopped her there and told her I'm not looking to downgrade my packages. I honestly think I am just going to quit DirecTV. What a joke
  10. I might be the the only one, but I would not have been able to see that face(Rosen) on a weekly basis. Dude looks like an accountant, not a football player.
