Whew only one team paying players out there. That's good news. Well Clemson has been to the playoffs 3 years in a row they must be paying players....of course there is Oklahoma they've been in the playoffs a bunch they must be paying. Guess all the teams that suck must not be paying players. Their coaches are better than Saban. Bama is known for being the state with the most money in it. Must not be any crooked rich people in NY. Otherwise Syracuse would be awesome! According to your theory.

My son is only 13 but I'm teaching him the qb position.....do....you....think.... the bills could sign him? He hasnt thrown in a game yet, against any kind of defense but his highlights of him posing with the ball are off the chain.

Honest question. All over the boards I've seen it repeated over and over since the draft that Allen has the highest ceiling. What exactly does that mean and how are people getting to that conclusion? What QB does he look like if he gets there? How does he win games? What are his losses like? Why can't Mayfield be the next Drew Brees? Why can't Darnold be the next Marino, Rosen the next Eli, Rudolph the next Roethlisberger?
If Allen becomes the next Favre, is that the pinnacle of quarterbacking?
How EXACTLY does Allen have the "highest ceiling" when he's never played better than any of his peers going back to pee-wee?I think people are confusing highest ceiling with largest amount of growth to do to reach his ceiling. I don't think his ceiling is any higher than Darnolds or Mayfields. They are just more NFL ready than he is.

Thank you. This will be the place to go for updates or coaching staff press conferences if there are any? Or is there another site?

So when do we see all the new guys ( FA, draft, and udfas) at practice??? When do we start getting info on how they look?

So how do you block a troll on this site??

Here we go.
Lets all all fall in love with a career backup hold him up on a pedestal and inflate expectations only to be disappointed. Rinse and repeat every 3 years.
The cycle provides slight entertainment to those that go from home to work to home to work to home boring people.
I'm guessing AJ will be day one starter and you don't want him to succeed???
-
So if you had to pick between Darnold and McCarron who would you take?
Comparing their college stats AJ out performed Darnold in every stat. Besides yardage he was better than Lamar Jackson. He doesn't turn the ball over. Which means he isn't going to cost your team wins. He isn't scared to throw the ball, something tt was afraid to do. He can throw a wide receiver open. He'll surprise many on here. Don't think we lose as many games as people think with AJ as qb.

McCarron will be better than people here think he will. Allen is going to have to make some leaps and bounds to be better than AJ. But I think any time you draft a qb first round the management is under extreme pressure to prove that the pick was a correct one and play that qb asap. Even if its a detriment to the team.

I've read other commentators that Allen has unlimited upside and could have been the best QB in the draft. Only time will tell.
At this point he is a bill so you pull for him but why is everyone saying he has an unlimited upside or highest ceiling? He has the most to do to even get where Baker Mayfield or Darnold are at. I don't think he has the highest ceiling. I think he has the biggest gap to get to his ceiling. Not saying his ceiling isn't on par with Mayfield or Darnold just has the longest way to go to get there.

Someone on twitter pointed out that Penny averaged more yards per carry (7.5) than Josh Allen averaged per attempt (6.7) in the same division.

Not what I'm saying at all. Missed my point. Poster wanted to take the negatives away by saying this that and the other. My point was if you are going to give him props you also have to take the negatives.

If you move up to #5 now, you greatly improve your chances of a second trade up to #2 or #4, especially #2.
How do you trade up to 2 or 4 when you gave up everything to get to 5? If you get to 5 you ain't moving again. Its either 2 or 4 or 5.

I want to draft Rosen (or Darnold or Mayfield), but I think Lamar will have immediate impact.
What do you see in Lamar that made that kind of impression on you? Did you watch him in college? I think of all the qbs he'd be the biggest project. He makes some really bad throws. Are you thinking he would have the biggest upside or potential? I don't think he could come in and start. He'd need a year or two.
-
Lets move up to 2 and get a punter. Do we need a punter?? I'd laugh my butt off....seriously

You guys think any of these guys have that instant stardom look? Where they look like they are a NFL star waiting to be drafted?
I kind of knew Waston would be good. Seen the guy play at a high level. When was the last time a qb came into the league an almost instant success? What qb did you think coming out of college would be a success and was?

But I also saw balls thrown to all levels of the fields and all types of throws made. Deep passes, back shoulder, sideline, and middle of the field. I mean he actually threw some great passes deep. Not sure how that happened with such a weak arm. There wasn't a throw he didnt make. The negative nancies like to point out the fact that the Bengals lost to Pittsburgh but it wasn't because of AJ. AJ had the game won. The Bengals were also without their starting tightend, Tyler whomever, and only had two receivers, Aj Green and Sanu.
