Got it. But yet everything I listed is better than the good ole AJ McCarron that they chose.

We could have also Picked Chad Henne the guy that has helped Tannenhill, Bortles and Mahomes.

    But nope it was McCarron.

But all good think that this position group wasnt botched.

How would you even know? They and apparently you didnt give AJ a chance. And from what I can see the coaches and Gm don't know squat. They have royally screwed this team over. One of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen to let AJ go.

To look at this from another angle and instead of asking would it be any different...you need to ask how could it be any worse. Because I don't think the qb situation can be any worse.

Not sure what your trying to accomplish with this thread

Accomplish? How can you accomplish anything with a thread lol. I asked a question because I had watched Allen's highlights and think though he has improved he is still making mistakes AJ wouldn't make.

Really, really, dumb post - do you really, really, follow the NFL!

Are you really really really stupid? Asking for a friend.

I don't think our record would be different. I think the scores may have been a little different. That's about all.

Thank you for a sincere answer. Some people just can't seem to discuss things.

Not in the past 40 years...

Not sure what your point is? The fact is Bama has had successful players at Every position in the NFL. And when I say successful I mean hof successful.

To be honest its highly doubtful Tua goes to the Pats. Also because the bills drafted Allen it's doubtful he'll go to them. I would also go out on a limb (and it probably wouldn't be too flimsy of a limb) and say Bama hasn't had a qb of Tua talent recently. He is a different type of player. The next few years should see a ton of great qbs coming out of college. Was it 83 that was one of the highest qb draft of all time? The next few years will have drafts close to or equal to it.

Yes because Alabama QB always light it up in the NFL.

Is this what you meant to say or were you trying to insult all the Alabama qbs that are/were in the NFL? Which is fine mind you because Alabama is a college and not a pro team. So the success they've had in college, you know winning national championships, works for me. Besides do a little digging and find the Alabama qbs that were successful in the NFL. There have been some ;)

  5. Idk if I'd take the ole miss receivers. They actually said they overlooked the Alabama CBs when they played. How do you overlook Alabama? You have a chance to make a statement and you don't practice hard enough because you felt some defenders weren't good??? Not the smartest guys on the block.

Here's mine after the Minnesota win:

Rd 1 (P 15) Greg Little OT Ole Miss

Rd 2 Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma

Rd 3 Anfernee Jennings OLB Alabama

Rd 4 Alex Bars G Notre Dame

Rd 5 Raequon Williams DT Michigan State

Rd 5 Nik Needham CB UTEP

Rd 6 Korbin Kaufusi DE BYU

Rd 7 Chase Hansen S Utah

I wouldn't draft Jennings till the 5th rd. He had a knee injury and he looks as though he didn't get his speed back.

There not really comparable  yet except end of game 1 and game 2.

In those quarters Darnold played better than Allen. Dont be a homer Hemet.

Allen has the potential to be wayyyy better than Darnold. But right now Darnold is better, one of the reasons being hes more accurate in the short to intermediate range for the time being. He doesnt have as much arm strength as JA so he will have more balls picked since they both gun it

No he doesn't....just because a guy has arm strength doesn't mean he has great potential. I mean I'm pulling for Allen but where is all this pro bowl potential everyone think JA has???

This. This board has been awful to read lately because everyone is POSITIVE that the Bills 1) Didnt want to start Josh this early 2) are doomed to go 0-16 3) are going to ruin Josh. All of this after 1 single game in which Josh barely played.

The Bills brass wouldnt have traded McCarron if they werent comfortable with Josh playing this early. The O-line did not look good in game one but one bad loss doesnt define a season. A couple years ago we started out 0-2 and looked terrible before rattling off 4 straight wins. I remember in 2011 we beat the Chiefs in week one 41-7. The Chiefs finished with a better record than us. It is ridiculous to make  sweeping generalizations about an entire season and condemn a front off after one (ONE!!!) game. There is evidence on both sides of the "Can you ruin a young QB by playing him too early" debate. IMO if comes down to mental fortitude. Josh has shown he has that so I for one am all in favor of this and very much looking forward to the rest of the season and next season.

    The Bills brass was stupid.

Question for all my Bama fans..

Does anyone know when the next time they come play in Buffalo? I think they did a few years ago but wasn't sure how often they face each other

Probably be a long time. Bama is starting to put some good home and homes together so if you can travel a little bit those will be closer.
