    Bears want more picks.

Teams are calling about Robert Quinn per Ian R.

    18.5 sacks last year.

Age 31 with a 12.5 mil hit: deal could be restructured

    how about a 4th and a 6th for Quinn?

two elite Edge rushers. Rousseau and Basham can learn and be in rotation.

Might be had for cheap as he was a no show for mandatory mini camp.  Bears aren’t winning anytime soon and really have no need for a 31 year old DE at $12M on their roster.  I really want to see what Basham and Rousseau have, but like you said they can be rotational for one more year.  Quinn is a beast, and would give us two high caliber starting DE’s.  It’s most likely a pipe dream, but hey, the cap doesn’t exist so it is possible.

You dont know which women are sex trafficked and which aren't.

Simple fact.  Many women at massage parlors aren't sex trafficked.

I have volunteered and donated to Elijah Rising in Houston which deals with this issue. I know what am I talking about

No offense, I’ll take state.gov guidance on the correlation between human trafficking and prostitution over the BBMB “trust me, I know what im talking about” poster.

There is very little comparison to what Kraft did versus Watson.

Kraft did it with a willing participant, Watson by all accounts by and large did his activity with unwilling parties.  Unwilling sexual partners is the line you dont cross.............rape.

I contend that sex trafficked women are not willing hence fit the definition of rape.

Eh you have to stretch pretty far to blame Kraft for that though. You can say he should have known, but you can't even trace the line of production of a cup of coffee or a pair of shoes without some human rights violation popping up somewhere along that line. Or walk down Canal Street in NYC and buy one of those replica Gucci bags, as tens of thousands of tourists do every year, and tell me honestly that every person involved in those operations is living the American dream they were promised by the people that brought them here.

Kraft was seeking a sex service from sex workers. Of course that is illegal, but it is not legally or morally equivalent to exposing yourself and forcing yourself on somebody.

This is a pretty simplistic line of thinking.  Billionaire’s don’t become billionaire’s by being dumb.  Maybe Kraft didn’t force himself  on the Asian prostitute, but maybe his money did.  Maybe if this lady says no I don’t want your 80 year old shriveled thingy near me, she is sent packing back to her country and can’t care for her family.

Correct.  Kraft situation involved consensual sex with an adult female…not in any way comparable to the Watson scenario.

Incorrect, there’s nothing consensual when it comes to human trafficking.  It might be consensual with the pimp but not the participant who in most cases is being forced or coerced into performing sexual acts.  This is why prostitution is illegal.

How he copes will determine his future imo.  If he’s stays strong mentally, I think he’ll be a top 12 QB or better

How he copes? Stays strong mentally?  Who is the victim here? You do realize there is literally zero rehabilitation for sexual predators / addicts?  There is an extremely high probability he continues down this same path.  Stays strong mentally…puke!!!

He is accused of sexually assaulting 26 women (god knows how many didn’t report) and now will have $259M remaining on his $260M fully guaranteed contract after his one year suspension (if rumors hold true).  I’m just waiting for this guy to buy a private island and private plane and go the way of Jefferey Epstein.

You will get lambasted for this comment but, looking at it from a NON EMOTIONAL standpoint, I would agree.  People want to virtue signal here to deorate their outrage, blah blah bah.  Anyone ho has ever driven drunk doesnt have much moral highground  in this thread.

If I were the Judge, I would put him away for probably 10-20 years.  Courts currently often dont sentence pre-meditated murderers to much more but it was an accident,   A horrific accident.    Life in Jail for him is absurd and wildly over the top.  His life is ruined, career over,  ruined financially, never drive again, all things he "earned" himself.

If he gets out within the next 5 years I would say his career is not over.  NFL is littered with child / women abusers, rapists, drug and alcohol abusers, etc.  As sad as it is, I’m sure some team would give him a chance (Chiefs, Ravens, Browns).

2 years $30 million in new money. Guaranteed around $20 million.

Add in his 2022 money and it’s about a 3 year $40 million deal. $13.3 million average. Puts him in the top 10 for safety contracts. He’d be the 2nd highest paid safety over 30 years old.

Technically he’d be the highest paid over 30 because Harrison Smith’s deal isn’t as scary as it looks. It was basically a 2 year $26 million deal. Originally I was thinking 2 years $24 million for Poyer.

Seems rich to me for a 31 year old safety.  I mean JC Jackson, a top 5 CB in his prime just got a 5 year 16.5AAV / $40M guaranteed during FA.  Tyrann Mathieu and Justin Reed both got 3/$33M.  If Poyer makes anything north of that, Bills played their hand wrong.  Could have got JC, traded Poyer (picked up Mathieu), and used your #1 on BPA and not forced to take a CB out of need (Bean admitted this during post draft press conference).  Most of this is Monday Morning QBing…I know.

I hate being the guy(feel dirty, like im pats fan), assuming that the Bill's are great and there are 1 or 2 maybe, that compete))Feeling like Bengals might be "Top Opponent" this year.

If they can improve that horratious O-Line, i just wanna say, how many times, can a "Joe" named QB not won the superbowl. Bengals will be there, to deal with in playoffs, unless Joe gets hurt.

Hate him cuz hes not on the Bills and ill take Josh 70% of the time. GO BILLS!

Trade mark on "Horatious" and "Hereditory"

Two things: 1- I’ll take Josh 100% of the time, every time. 2 - Did you even watch the SB?

First, I've been a true blue Bills fan since 1980.  I've lived through the highs and the lows. One thing I have come to understand about the game is that it has to be played prior to declaring a winner.  I read throughout a variety of news reports, interviews, story's, updates, etc., that we need to have already made our reservations for the Super Bowl.  This really scares me (maybe I'm more of a frightened, tainted Bills fan these days). There are so many variables that are outside of anyone's control and there are numerous challenges that will arise which may, or may not, contribute to a loss here and there (see Jacksonville from last season).

I suppose my point is this...let's move away from declaring and move towards supporting...through the good and the bad. Never too high and never too low!  Go Bills!

We have the best football player on the planet locked up for the next 6 years.  We should be Super Bowl favorites every year JA17 is on our roster.  The #17 car was built with no breaks installed.

Bro I am well versed on the legal system. But if I know I was wasted and did some ish like this, why would I need a trial? Why put that woman's family through wondering if somehow your riches will get you off?? They need and deserve justice. Explain how getting my BAC excluded is a fair trial? Sounds like attempting to skirt the system to me! I wasn't always who I am now. I am a convicted felon. My crimes were "victimless" tho and of course I'm trying my best to lighten my charges and hopefully beat the case or get a light sentence. But not if I KILLED SOMEONE completely cause of my recklessness.

This is not your usual case and yes a lawyer that is trying to help a man get away with this is a scumbag to me. I don't care what you say. Yes he deserves representation...plenty scumbags willing to take his money! I don't care what the law is or how the system is created to work...any person attempting to help someone get away with the murder of a completely innocent person is a SCUMBAG! It don't make it ok cause it's your job! Hitler had plenty workers as well!

Nothing I say to this will change your mind on due process or the right to a fair trial.  Lawyers don’t determine who is/isn't guilty, the jury does.  Lawyers are there to ensure the defendants get a fair trial , that is all.  This like hating on a military doctor that revives an adversary combatant.  They both do their job independent of who their patient/client is.  As for the remainder on your paragraph I have no comment.  P.S. I’m not your bro…pal 😝

If I did what he did (and I know him to be a good kid who made a catastrophic decision and royally threw it all away, and worse killed a young innocent women who was minding her own business) I wouldn’t even fight the case honestly. I’d take the best plea deal offered…if there wasn’t an offer since it’s a slam dunk….still plead guilty and take whatever I earned.

I know he is just listening to the advice of his scumbag lawyers and this wasn’t his idea but so tf what Id fire them and plead guilty.

His lawyers job is to ensure this dingus receives a fair trial.  If LE or the DA screw things up that’s on them, not on the lawyer or the accused.  People so quick to assume all lawyers are scum when really it’s the nature of their job when representing people charged with heinous crimes.

To give up on a person, you have to expect something out of that person in the first place... not just in football, all walks of life. I dont think anyone expected anything out of him thus nothing to give up on.

Meh, I see what you’re saying but why draft him if you expect nothing from him? There has to be some form of expectation for the team to draft him, a progression plan at the very least.  Understand that more 6th round picks don’t pan out than do and that expectations for a 1st and second round pick are different than a 6th, but I’ll argue there are still expectations.

Knox is top 10 talent but just doesn't have the numbers.  Maybe this year with a new OC.

Dawkins was playing at a top 5 level late last season. He struggled early.

Morse is just outside top 10.

Oliver I can see anywhere from 7 to 15, and getting better every year. Didn’t like the pick but he is a solid starter.

And of course PFF sees the same thing we do in Edmunds.  He is nowhere near a top 10 LB. Hope he plays like one this year.

IMO Knox is a top 10 TE.  Looking at the 2021 stats he ranks 14th in yards per game but only six of the TE’s ahead of him have a higher yards per reception and he ranks 20th in TE targets. Knox was also tied for 1st in touchdowns.  That’s pretty impressive to me.
