  1. What about that home game? You know who will be playing.
  2. Quite honestly if they beat the Colts they should.
  3. This is supposed to be your year and there was never a better opportunity. Then you lose to the Dolphins. Joe Burrow is committing career suicide with the Bengals(and his injuries are his fault), pretty much leaving the AFC to Josh and Patrick. Now, Lamar is about to make a brief appearance(after 2026 he should decline). You were looking good. You have virtually HFA over KC and whoever comes out of the AFC North. The Colts are a sitting duck. But you are behind the Patriots in your division. The Chiefs are behind Denver. This is the 2008 version of the Mahomes and Allen rivalry. Brady got knocked out all year and Manning was recovering from surgery and playing injured most of the year. The Pats lost the division and Manning didn't win his. And the Steelers, the third wheel powerhouse team then, took advantage. This just might be the year Josh and Patrick are wild cards. And guess who is going to probably pick up the tab? The one person who could only win in a scenario like this. Lamar. I would also wager to say both you and KC are wild card exits, KC's first with Mahomes and Josh's since his sophomore year. The Ravens will sit at the fourth seed hosting the Bills in the wild card round and then proceeding to go on the road against the Broncos and Colts, who do not have the pedigree to win the AFC. Vrabel is one of the few coaches who have punched Mahomes in the mouth so that exit is very possible(they could win in KC even). I hate this for you, so I hope you win the division. KC has a harder road and I think the double whammy occurs if they lose their division based on the narrative. But this was the year. You're not gonna get KC this low again and I'm pretty sure with the cupcake schedule next year(NFC South and AFC South) Joe Burrow will take back his division and Lamar is due for a breather.
  4. I think one team would have beaten the Bills because they had already gotten their best game in the regular season.
  5. And one of those SB winning coaches got fired by the Jaguars. Chip Kelly was nothing special before him. Or are we assuming the Eagles are going to win it with Siriani?
  6. And THAT team's QB called out his FO. If his team doesn't get back to the playoffs next year, he's not sticking around there. That's the only QB who can out duel Mahomes. Because all of the other top QBs are playing the same kind of offense or close to it. The elite pure pocket passers of the future are in college.
  7. Did you put Joe Burrow in the second tier?
  8. He's 30 in over two years.
  9. Well, I think we could also acknowledge Ray Lewis here. Lewis leading that defense is why the Ravens were a SB contender and winner. Also Harbaugh had some of Bilick's team. I never understood why Bilick was fired either. His Ravens made the Steelers' lives a nightmare and it was the underpinning of the rivalry it is now.
  10. I can't call Lamar an elite passer because he's a dual threat QB. Also defenses haven't gotten this kind of game film on Lamar either but will next year.
  11. Let me be the first to say that I am the one saints fan that does not want Baker Mayfield as the next qb after Brees. I would also go on to say that Ryan Pace and Payton are very close and the bears would trade down to the saints over teams with even better offers if their pick is not there at 8 (Nelson). If you want Mayfield, you need to get him higher. I don't know if you would draft him at 2 over other QBs like Allen or Rosen, but that may be your only chance at getting one of the big four QBs unless you can trade with the bucs or colts(who already traded back from a higher spot). You stand pat, you will end up with Lamar Jackson. My saints have personally not responded to the idea they would trade up that far but there's the saying the saints have few holes and have an almost complete team and can take the risk. If you want Mayfield, you have to trade with the giants or bucs.
