  1. Josh is infinitely more promising than former Bills QBs from the standpoint that we know he can deliver accurate passes. The crazy pass rush he has faced has lowered his completion percentage considerably, but I have full confidence that given time he can deliver strikes.

I just hope they are teaching him the presnap adjustments.

  2. On another note, I don’t think Darnold or Rosen really look any better than Allen today. Hopefully he can learn from this game. One thing I didn’t like was that it kind of seemed like he gave up in the fourth quarter by his demeanor on the bench. I wish he would have been looking at the Tablet and trying to figure out a way to win. The game was not out of reach.

  3. I think they were basically just as good with Matt Cassell. At the end of the day, the cheating they employ is obvious. Much like Cassell, Brady would suck on other teams.

Why are these QBs only good in New England? Cheating, plain and simple. They know the other team’s play on defense, they keep a radio going to the QB, tell him when a pass rusher is coming and tell him where to go with the ball during the play. It’s easy to play QB in that system.

So, basically what Josh Allen has to deal with.  At least Rosen has Larry Fitzgerald.

Bills did make the playoffs last year. Despite fan perception, I’d say Allen is  incredibly lucky to be in Buffalo over AZ. I think history will show that this year’s Cardinals are a complete dumpster fire. Losing Bruce Arians was huge.

  5. Great, nothing I like more than being nagged for 3 hours while watching football.

In all seriousness, women football fanatics come across as phony to me. I think it is because when us guys were little we would dream of playing in the NFL. When we watch as grown men, we live vicariously through these players.

I don’t believe these chicks ever dreamed of playing in the NFL, nor do I think they have a true appreciation for how incredible these athletes are.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that in a good announcer there is this underlying deep, lifelong love of the sport. Most female fans I’ve encountered come across as though they are fans because they want to gain daddy’s or some guy’s approval.

  6. I was impressed with the Daboll/Allen combo. I definitely saw some Patriot-esque qualities and it gives me hope going forward. You could tell Allen absorbed and learned nuances that Daboll had coached.

It seems small, but I was really impressed with Allen’s touch, trajectory, and placement on short throws and screens. It seemed like he did a tremendous job putting his backs and receivers in a position for YAC. I think the staff must be hammering him with the technique to use on each of these throws. Huge improvement from last week.

The guy hasn't played anywhere close to a full season in five years, during which time he repeatedly fell on and off the wagon. That's FIVE YEARS to prove he's worth hanging onto, and when he finally gets back on the field, he screws it all up immediately. Seven years in the league, with one great season, one good season, and five eggs laid. What's left to learn about this guy? Why in God's name would you think he's worth trading for?

Because right now the Bills are totally f’d in the a.

  8. This has the makings of a classic upset game:

    1. Nobody thinks the Bills have a chance... I’m betting we wind up getting favorable officiating

    2. Josh Allen is probably prepping like you wouldn’t believe

    3. Revenge game for last year’s thrashing

    4. West Coast team traveling East

    5. Trap game for Chargers

    6. Fired up fans and team for Allen’s first start

I think somehow we beat the spread and the win comes down to a coin toss.
