Wait! I think this is all about how to do flank steak right! I say stir fry or sous vide then sear and you get a great meal.

I get your point (really!), and I hope it works out as we all hope and pray.

Everyone will have their opinion on what's the best way to cook their steak (s).. I for one like variety, so I'm always up to try something new!

Flank steak is one of the best cuts when cooked and served properly. Tasty.

Don't get me wrong, I actually love flank steak, especially steak fajitas.. the point of my post tho, is flank is a lot faster to cook than others. Hence referring to Rosen (most ready to start right away comparisons). Where Allen might need some time(hence the longer cooking steak) but could be the better qb down the road. And if fans would be patient and let it play out, we will eventually see.

The whole thread took a turn and should be on the food network channel haha. I enjoyed reading through the comments, even tho they didn't pertain to the post. God bless u guys lol.. Best fans in the world!!

  3. I see posters claiming they would have went for sure fire thing (ala rosen) instead of taking best potential (ala Allen).. no right or wrong opinion, but If I'm gonna grill me a nice steak on the grill, I'm gonna go prime rib all day, everyday! Sure I might have to wait a little longer before I eat, compared to grilling a flank steak. But I have patience and the wait will be worth it! If ur hungry and want to eat, by all means choose the flank.. But if u have time and can wait for a better meal, choose the prime rib every time!!

    Allen>Rosen

    Go Bills!!

  4. Agree I love the pick.. He is gonna be a fan favorite for years to come. Not only as a player, but off the field, in the locker room(easily see him be a captian in a few yrs) and in the community. In college he was already involved in 2 non-profit organizations (he was on the board for 1 of them).. Buffalo is gonna fall in love with this guy!!

If in an imaginary world, Josh Allen was a former JUCO champion, BCS champion, and Heisman winner with 66% completion and 1400 yds rushing his last college year, most fans would be ecstatic too.

Got me there lol.. Guy has potential, he could pan out, he may not pan out. But fans/media bashing him should atleast give him a chance and Let's wait to see what happens before labeling him a bust.

Everyone is gonna have their opinion I guess.

I would disagree with that, because even Allen's QB coach Jordan Palmer freely admits he had accuracy problems, caused by overstepping and foot mechanics. Accuracy was a problem. It has been addressed and his accuracy has improved a great deal. The question is whether that improvement will stick. There's a pretty decent chance it will.

But as you say, there are some other issues.

Fair enough, I have read and watched palmer's interviews. But even with the foot mechanics, throwing on the run or off balanced he was still putting the ball in a catchable place for his receiver. You made a good point and appreciate the feedback! But for some to say he won't pan out bc he's not accurate is crazy. He's a lot more accurate than those ppl think.

    What metric would you accept?

No stat is gonna tell me he's not accurate. I've watched a lot of tape/games of Allen(before and after draft), don't get me wrong I'm no scout of course. But if u watch enough of his tape any1 can see he is accurate. The problem I see more than anything(besides playing behind an awful line) is he doesn't make the right reads at times and tends to force the issue. Could be from being pressured a ton at Wyoming and wasn't able to go through his progressions, but accuracy is not an issue

Josh Allen, on his way to becoming the most prolific QB in Bills history, will start 9/9/18.

Let's not go this far yet!

But in regards to your post, yes I also feel he is more than capable of being our franchise guy. I actually have high hopes for him. I'll remain very optimistic and hope I'm not proven otherwise
