  1. Geoff Schwartz on Twitter arguing he didn't do anything special. Just a bunch of screens, dump offs, quick passes and oh he made a few plays with his legs. Nothing special.

Let one of those screen passes have been inaccurate and there'd be a tweet with the caption, "Same old Josh Allen..."

There's a lot of guys who are honest e v a l guys like Bruglar, Orvolsky, Silva and then there are guys like Kascmar, Ledyard, Klassen, Schwartz, Sherman and Tanier who just want the kid to fail and are there to get reactions out of the Bills fan base.

He’s looked better than I expected him to. Would like to see him connect on those deep balls and get better at identifying the blitz presnap. I assume the latter will come with time though.

Still aways to go but the first down hurdle run was him identifying the blitz and sliding his line over. The kid's smart and seems to be a quick learner he just has to pick it up as he goes.

There will be dark days in between.

Big improvement. Better play calling from Daboll as well but this is great to see. Let's see if he can keep this up v GB.

I hated Mayfield but loved the other two.

Obviously we had no shot at Goff or Mayfield, but we look pretty stupid right now for not picking Mahomes and then trading so much away to draft Allen a year later.

Mahomes was a better prospect than Allen in pretty much every category.

Yeah I was pretty early on the Mahomes hype train. It was heartbreaking we didn't even look at him. I think the only QB we liked was Trubisky(I still think he'll turn out good) but it was just so obvious to see Mahomes was going to be a mega star. I wish BBMB was still up so I could show receipts. Before the season was over I created a thread saying he's going to go in the Top 10. This was when people were calling him a 3rd rounder.

I'd feel a lot more confident in Josh Allen if he had the infrastructure around him. Great offensive coaches around him, a solid OL and weapons. Not to mention a year as redshirting. He doesn't have any of those luxuries so it's trial by fire.

Do we know if McCloud is back yet? I think he could be sneaky good with Allen if he can play. He genuinely might be our #1 receiver right now.

    That's the sad commentary

    Mayfield is a stud.

Underrated arm, elite accuracy, and in complete control of the offense. He's surrounded by weapons and couldn't have had a better debut with 200 yards in essentially a half of football.

The three QB's I were banging on and on about the last three years were Goff, Mahomes and Mayfield. Glad to say I was right.

  6. Draft

    1. D.K. Metcalf-WR Ole Miss 6'4 225

    2. Bobby Evans-LT Oklahoma 6'5 310

    3. Diontae Johnson-WR Toledo 5'11 186

    4. Jesse Burkett-C Stanford 6'4 306

    Free Agency

    Anthony Barr-LB Vikings

    Daryl Williams-RT Panthers

    Bradley Roby-CB Broncos

    De'Anthony Thomas-WR Chiefs

In one offseason we fix our OL and WR issues. Thus investing in our young QB and we get two borderline Pro Bowlers to bolster our Defense. We could then go into the next offseason with really only DL being a massive need

  7. The best case scenario is Josh Allen leads us to 4-5 wins and we're not in discussion for #1 overall. Much more important for us going into next year knowing he's the guy then him going 1-15, us not being sure and taking Bosa #1.

I'm hoping we go 4-12 pick #5 and take either of these guys who all immediately improve our team

    1. Jonah Williams-T Alabama 6'5 310

    2. D.K. Metcalf-WR Ole Miss 6'4 225
    3. Brian Burns-DE Florida State 6'5 245

  8. Accuracy issues and slow eyes. Not a great combo and I'm not sure there correctable. The 57 yarder for Zay Jones should've been thrown way earlier and it's an easy TD. He also had Charles Clay streaking down the sidelines and never saw him. Another easy TD. The growing pains are gonna be real but I'm not even sure some of his weaknesses can be corrected.

Still has a chance to be a Top 10-15 QB in this league and you can win with that if you have a solid OL, good defense and give him weapons. So it's imperative we help him out this off season.
