  1. meeting of the coalition of negative Nancy’s:

Negative Nancy president: “well boys, the bills season is officially over. It was a very good season to remind everyone how much they suck. People think things like winning define a good sports experience, but we showed them. Now. What’s next?”

Assistant to the negative Nancy: “well, the Sabres suck, but that feels like a dead horse. I am getting something about... hang on, let me check my notes.... ah yes. Female tennis. Something about unprecedented success on a world stage. I don’t think we really know anything about tennis, or females for that matter, but this the best we’ve got.”

president: *rubbing hands together* “it’s perfect...”

No. Allen developed in his situation. He grew. He didn’t make the same mistake time and again. Darnold was more pro-ready and he was given every benefit of the doubt while Josh was criticized at every possible turn.

Darnold is a bust. Maybe he can salvage some of his career, but he’s not anything in the stratosphere or Josh.

If Fields does this against Alabama, then I think there’s a legit discussion about who goes 1, but Clemson’s defense looks so bad so hard to read too much into tonight.

The winner of this game will be shish-ka-bobed by Bama.

Down 21.... let’s run our QB!

  4. First time they gave us pads they taught us:

    Dip, hip, lift, drive.

dip: drop your head and lower your shoulders

hip: aim your shoulder for the hip of the runner

lift: wrap arms around waist and lift

drive: follow through and drive your guy into the dirt.

47 was lining up perfectly and The QB spun into him hitting his helmet.

Also, me likey the Trey Sermon. I liked him at OU cause I read somewhere that he was a great pass blocker. Now I really like him.

This was me by the way. And I didn’t care!

Meanwhile, I go into the rest of my playoff matchup with one of my Wr’s (Diggs) outperforming his QB (Discount double douche) by 7 points.

That’s a cover-2 beater. Man up? Diggs and Beasley defeat man all day. man-over on those two? then you don’t have enough bodies to spy and get killed on the scramble. Blitz and cover 0 has had some efficacy but Allen is starting to dump it off and matriculate and God help you if he starts hitting the deep post against that.

This is why you draft and develop the toolsy kid who can attack every area of the field and neutralize pressure with size/legs. There’s always an answer no meter the defense. Can you imagine trying to scheme to stop this offense? We’re going to see next week, if the best schemer in history can find a way. If not... oooh it moved.

Oh and also, John Brown is coming back next week. So.

She seems not only like she knows her football and is well prepared, she comes across as 100% decent human being.  I guess I don't notice her face length.

    Super cool story.

Maybe I'm just sensitive about long faces. :P

I'm guessing that what happened is that someplace as the total was climbing past $400,000 Josh told the hospital that when the total got to $483,000, he'd add $17,000.   Josh didn't time it; he simply asked the hospital to make his donation the one that got to $500,000.  He wasn't sitting by his phone, watching the tally climb, and then at just the right minute send his gift in.

Yeah, and it’s a great idea.

whatever  happened - our guy is the man.

I also thought that - but think it was smart.  Gives more PR to bump it and keep it going.   He better have another 17K ready for when it reaches 983K  :)

Oh yeah! I have no issue with it at all. I just had a moment where I was like “wow! It’s so cool that it was exactly $17,000.00 and he could do that to make it half a million and oh wait that was probably planned...”

Kudos to all of the Bengals fans donating, returning our donation favor from Dalton's TD!!!  Pretty cool stuff

So funny that the donations are the same $$.... it was $17 then for the drought, right?

This is why I'm a loyal Bills fan.  Back in the Super Bowl heydays, I was attracted to the grit of those players and those teams.  But it's the people of Buffalo and Western NY that really got me.  I saw the Niagara Square rally where everyone was chanting for Scott Norwood to speak - even though he had missed the game-winning field goal as we all know (I personally don't blame him).  He was so moved and so was I.  That was just an incredible outpouring of love like I've never seen before.  It also showed Buffalo Bills fans had immense class.  That much was clear.   And I was pretty much hooked after that.  Over time, I've come to really understand how special Buffalo Bills fans are.  It feels like I'm part of a family - a damn loyal family.  It's been a rough couple of decades but I've never wanted to jump ship.  There's just no other place like Buffalo and no other fans like Buffalo Bills fans.

I saw that in an ESPN (or something along those lines) feature and it about made me cry.
