Wait! You had a backup left tackle in?? The Pats had the 3rd string aka the guy they just signed off a practice squad playing RT all night last night. a LT playing with the Flu or some kind of bug and a center who has a severely bad thigh injury.. So I guess it’s a bad look on your D Coordinator.
The Pats Play calling helped your D a lot. For whatever reason instead of staying to the quick passes and moving the ball down the field he went screen happy and made things very difficult. Oh and the for-mentioned O line issues negated the run game pretty much.
It wouldn't of mattered if you had Andy Reid calling plays last night, you're Qb is bad...like very bad

Just saw the Elam news. McDermott strikes again. What the hell?
Welp...we haven't even started the game and already this starts 😒

This is the story every single game I've watched. He's average at best. Insanely overrated player that will get exposed. But let them have their fun.
But even with him being average at best, the speed of that offense presents a problem. And McDaniel has designed an offense to get the ball out quick and go for yards after catch. All Tua has to do is what is asked within the offensive scheme. Having elite speed on the outside does make even the average quarterback look great. Are they unstoppable with Tua not at all, but they still are a problem with that talent on the outside.

If our offense doesn’t turn it around, we won’t win the division. Tbh, I’d be surprised if we make the playoffs if we continue to play this way.
We all know our defense can only play well with a lead. And recently, our offense hasn’t been providing that lead
If this isn't sarcasm I really feel sorry for you bud.

Going with the vibe of the thread.
Well we did beat Houston 40 to zip last year, so by that narrative Miami must really stink then lol

Agree but it doesn't inspire confidence knowing the gauntlet on deck including 5 of 6 games against teams currently in the playoff picture. This includes 4 division games in which we already have an 0-2 hole.
Philly is a good team and likely on their way to the playoffs. But I think their hot start is/was smoke and mirrors like the Cardinals last year and they are destined for a similar fate in terms of being one and done in the playoffs.
The team winning 2 games in 4 days with the amount of craziness that has happened with weather and injury should inspire some form of confidence to overcome imo. It's understandable to be weary of the fact that they haven't been playing like world beaters but don't sell them short either. I take this team one game at a time, so yes we have a tough division game in New England next but I'm not lacking in confidence that we can beat them. And if it's another ugly win so be it, as stated before a win is a win.

I'm still not a fan of McD in terms of the bigger picture and his long term viability here, but you have to give him a certain degree of credit for holding everything together these last few weeks and pulling out wins against 2 teams they probably should have beaten more soundly if they were a real contender.
Bigger question is how this team responds now against much better competition starting next week in NE where they have to avoid going 0-3 in the division to keep any faint hopes of a 3rd straight division title alive.
A win is a win, sorry to tell you style points don't make anyone a "real contender". Winning by 1 point or 20 points matters not. All that matters is winning.

Do you realize that the Lions were playing with their best CB and 2nd and 3rd string oline men? The Lions defense had been exploited by most teams they have played. The Bills offense struggled against their defense. What is Bills offensive identity?
Wait I'm confused so the Bills have injuries to, missing there starting center and then losing there starting left tackle for most of the game. So imo the injuries were a wash. The Bills found a way to win, plain and simple. People can nit pick all they want but a win is a win sorry if that upsets you or anyone else.

I'm not complaining about a win, but that was a horrible looking one that we didn't deserve.
On to NE.
So why did Detroit deserve the win then. I'm really excited to read what you have to say on this one.

This team is completely different than 2019. We’re 8-3. Why complain?
Because that's all some people know how to do. We overcame and won a football game. Let the crybabies cry 8-3 baby, that's all that matter rightnow!!!

Ah, so, you can't name an instance where this FO drafted an all world skill player.
Please, go ahead, astonish us with your vast storehouse of knowledge!
So just wondering what do you consider Josh Allen. Let me guess the quarterback to you isn't considered a skill position.

As I stated you have very little knowledge of football. It's ok stick to trolling you're doing a splendid job. Congrats to you bud!!!

Correct. Because it hints at an inability to find guys like Diggs in the draft.
Assume for a moment that the trade didn't happen. Do you have faith that this FO would have drafted Jefferson? I don't.
Yes that's right, we all knew Justin Jefferson would turn out to be the player he is now. We needed a proven number 1 wide out for Josh. Yes we could of drafted Justin Jefferson but we went for proven talent instead. That is no way saying we have a inability to find and draft good talent. And for you to even believe what you posted provess to me you know very little about football.

Miami’s offense (and Bills’ defense) wasn’t the problem today…
The offensive line was surely a problem today. Injuries sure played a role in the offensive line struggling today. So saying green bay isn't struggling in the heat can also go the other way. Tampa Tom is struggling due to a mass amount of injuries.

Green Bay doesn’t seem to be having much trouble with the heat in Tampa…
But you can also say Brady is down his 3 starting receivers and a bunch of starting offensive linemen. Funny how this works right 😉

The best part is if we would of somehow won this game, it still be the same negative takes. Win or lose you can always count on this board for amusement.

I feel good about their talent and ability to be in every game, but make no mistake this was a blown opportunity that could haunt the Bills come playoff time. The Super Bowl is the only thing that matters for this group anymore and their chances took a hit today.
Yes blown opportunity for sure. But again it's week 3 there are so many unknowns about the season still to come. I hate losing, especially a division game, but it's way to early to say this haunts us come playoff time. We have no idea what any team will look like by then. Tough loss today but in no way does this kill our season.

They got to 3-0 somehow. Keep underestimating them......
So there 3-0 in a 17 game season. Congrats to them for squeaking out a win today. But let's be honest here, if it take all the injuries and mental mistakes by the Bills for them to win only by 2 points I'd feel very iffy about how good my team actually is.

You saying that would like me saying to you when Allen was a rookie “a typical bust QB pick by your Bills. Same old Bills” point being you have no more clue how good Jones will be than anyone did when Allen was meh to bad year one. So please stop with your less than expert analysis of
And what elite traits make Mac Jones special please enlighten me, I'm not saying he is trash but take away a solid running game is he winning a majority of the 9 wins you have? Yes football is a team sport and you need more then one player to win a game, but I just don't see mac Jones ever taking over a game like Qb17 does.

I’ve seen the hits Allen has taken the last 6 weeks. Those are awful hits! Allen like so many others rely on his legs be good if he gets a bad wheel the wheels fall off his game. (Also was kind of being sarcastic to the quoted post)
Farve — aka over rated only unbreakable record most INT
Young — wasn’t the same after he lost his wheels.. hmm odd.
Kelly — pocket passer never truly ran.. so terrible example for Allen.
Look Allen keeps taking those hits instead of sliding his career will be significantly shorter. That’s not hope or brag that’s simple common sense, the more you get hit the more likely to get hurt.. why do you think RB careers are normally short?
Dude, I literally said the Bills O was unstoppable. I’m sorry if adding the fact that even when Allen made mistakes they slipped right threw the Pats D hands hurt your feelings.. but it was also true.
You will be good as long as Allen can be a threat with his legs as well as his arm. Once he becomes less mobile the Bills days on top are numbered., Unless he grows in pocket presence and accuracy under duress while in the pocket. (Now watch someone going find fault with stating this..)
I have no question after watching mac jones today Josh Allen will be a starting quarterback in the NFL much longer than he will be. You better hope you always have a run game to rely on as long as mac is you're qb.

Did he do a mind ninja trick on Jackson to drop both INT? Was Allen watching the Pats v Indy game last week and do that ninja trick on him again their twice? Lol Allen was amazing, but the D allowed him to get away with whatever few mistakes he made.
So all the dropped touchdowns and the dropped interception the bills had today mean nothing at all, breaks of the game man like I said before. You had no answer to stopping Josh Allen today not one at all, you again got to watch that as long as Qb17 is on this bills team, we are going to be good for a very long time.

Hey, just wanted to check if Jackson dropped an interception? Didn't see it posted
That's what I'm saying those are the breaks of the game, I mean if Diggs doesn't drop that touchdown in the first game we sweep the Patsy's this year. I have no idea why the pats fan keeps bringing the drop up. Dude dropped it same as Levi did in the endzone, that's life in the NFL. The better team clearly won today dropped int or not.

OL Pass blocking was terrible times vs. NE & Drops - But a comfortable win

So if has more offensive talent around him and is playing as bad he is, how good am I actually supposed to believe he is then? You can blame the play calling all you want he wasn't good last night and hasn't been this season.
