Was Andre Holmes / Vlad Duccasse / Patrick Dimarco worth a 3rd round pick?
Bottom line, it's how well run football teams operate. Drafted players represent 4 years of cheap club control, usually covering a few of a players prime years. Not getting comp picks for players like Gilmore / Woods cost us 3rd / 4th round picks, not just throw away 6th rounders.
And cutting starters and role players during a playoff run is a well run organization ?

What’s people obsession with compensatory picks? Almost every thread it comes up somewhere.
Id rather sign a good free agent and not worry if signing said player will cost them a 6th round comp pick.

Evan's signed a 82M contract to stay with Tampa Bay. Drafted in the same year as Watkins.

I think it is more likely we have a deal in place for a FA QB then a move up in the draft at this time. I hope it's Foles TBH. I'll take the guy who carved up the Pats over all these other guys.
Foles isn’t a free agent QB

21,22, 53, 65, a 2019 2nd rounder, 2019 4th rounder gets it done. You can throw in Glenn to maybe save a pick or lower the round pick you have to give up
Again this would leave Buffalo with
#2
#56
#96
4th
2 5th round picks
2019
1st
3rd
4th
4th(Comp for Gaines)
5th
5th(Comp for Brown)
6th
6th(Comp for Matthews)
7th
Buffalo has a lot of pending free agents. They will need to sign free agents to fill the roster and some starting positions. Don’t bank on those comp picks just yet.

Dreaming Glenn gets that high of a pick

Well, minus this past year, and injury, he's been a very good player. There IS a market for those type of players
Yeah.. It’s called the clearance rack

They better not sign any good FAs that will count against the formula this offseason.. We need all the 6th round comp picks we can get ?

If management is basing their decisions off getting comp picks this franchise is in trouble.

I've seen the idea of #21 and Tyrod for Foles. I dont hate that.
Why would the Eagles want a 16 million backup?

According to Pro Football Focus:
Damon Harrison has graded as the best run defender in the NFL the last three consecutive seasons.
Who wouldn't be happy with adding that to our team?
Keep dreaming

It will change once they sign some free agents this offseason to multi year deals.
