DT Kyle Williams is returning to Buffalo on a 1-year deal worth $6M, source said. He gets $5M fully guaranteed.

Back down to $30 ish mil (excluding the other signings since Monday)

Probably be closer to 20 here shortly when some players roster bonuses come due.

First of all, I would hate to be Cleveland.  I really don’t know who I want the bills to select. If a few are already off the board, then nothing you can do about it. Easier choice between 2 vs 3 prospects.

Also, why did Sam Darnold not throw at the combine ? I watched his interview, “it was the best decision for me.”  Mayock put him on blast. If you have confidence you should want to go and compete.  Sure I like Darnold and would be happy to have him on the team, but If other options off the board by the time we pick. Pretty disappointed with his choice.

Initially it was Darnold, then I liked Mayfield. Now Rosen.  Back to being split on Mayfield/Rosen.

Glad I don’t have to make this decision.

Many have not thrown at the combine and still were top 5 picks.  Not a big deal.  Just something for people to complain about.

I am as surprised as anyone else how we (KC) are throwing around money.

Brett Beach said a month ago we would be adding another fast deep threat at WR.  The money is steep, but I can’t emphasize enough what they believe ( and I believe) they have in Mahomes.  Bombs will be dropping all over the field.  Watkins is only 24.  They are betting he is about to reach that potential.  I hope he does.

my main point is though, if you get a QB in the draft who in fact is a franchise guy, this is the kind of spending you can do (I’m not arguing it’s wise spending, we’ll see) lots of room to build out the roster when QB isn’t consuming 10-30% of your cap space

Then in a few years if Mahomes is good they will have to trade or release alotbof those guys they overpaid.   Currently what Seattle is going through.

I believe these dudes will make it through camp:

    Benjamin

    Zay

    Deonte Thompson

Streater (best camp of any WR last year from what I saw, I'm assuming he's back from injury)

    Reilly

And we draft another one, plus add a few UDFA's.  Also I think you'll see Dakiel Shorts back in camp this year he looked great to me, we had him on practice squad last year.

    Very uninspiring

    Oh no I hate Whaley.

I'm a very big fan of what Beane is doing so far, I was just saying that all the moves might wind up being for naught if we don't get the QB.

I want aggressive, but aggressive with a plan/purpose.

Every move he's made seems aggressive with purpose, calculated aggression, which I like.

I want him to continue to do so, and not just stand pat where we are now.

Whaley was aggressive to be aggressive, but his moves didn't seem to have a direction.

Whaley seemed like he was playing checkers while Beane seems like he's playing chess.

So you think he’s out there being aggressive all willy nilly with no plan or purpose?  lol

Its just called next level thinking.  Rosen being a devout Jew is only one aspect of it. Him possibly being devisive due to othe reasons and not being the most coachable are also in there. Apparently that doesn't hold any weight either.  Or the fact Beane won't take Mayfield because of his size.  Care to put some kind of wager on us not taking either one of them?  You seem awfully pompous.

More like gullible thinking.. NFL coaches and GMs aren’t exactly Mother Teresa’s this time of year.
