I know. They need to shorten his drop. That's what I was saying. Dabol keeps asking him to drop deep and find the open receiver downfield instead of quick plays right after the snap.

Allen of course looks terrible but why is Dabol calling the same plays over and over? Josh take a deep drop, all receivers go downfield. Where's the quick out to McKenzie? Where is anything that looks like a screen? While Josh is clearly overwhelmed, Dabol needs to help him out with the playcalling. Get the ball out of his hands quick and let the receivers and backs break a tackle.

I tend to agree TT needs the game of his life for us to definitively win this game. To eek it out, we can probably be okay with a better than normal TT performance if our D really shows up, even without McCoy.

The referees are just ruining the NFL. Just look at the calls all over the league today and this whole season. If you call that late hit on the Bengals, there have been about five late hits out of bounds in our game. It's becoming so unwatchable. '

I couldnt find discussion of this but apologize if I missed something. Colin Cowherd had an intriguing take today on Pats trading Garappalo for a song and Brissett as well. Albert Breer told him this week Pats LOVED Jimmy G. Niners GM Lynch backed that up yesterday. So why dump him after Pats groomed him? Colin's theory is that when Kraft nixed Brady trade, choosing his 40 yr old QB over his coach, Belichick kind of lost it. Have to admit Jimmy G trade VERY unBelichick. Add in Brady guru getting kicked out and it seems there is some discord in Foxborough. Not a bad week for it, eh?
