this is what I dont get. Daboll is like Josh - very hit or miss. I dont understand going into NFL leader in pressures and batted balls by not running for 2 drives, 5 step drops mid to deep. Get some screens, delay runs, quick slants behind blitzer to slow them down a step.....

Whats interesting is 2019 Allen was hammered for not being good against man to man - but excelled at intermediate zones. Now suddenly "he sucks against zone because hard" without Warner mentioning Bown injury is big, 0 running game support, or his obvious dip in production as soon as the shoulder injury happened. He implied "throwing against man to man is easy because you dont have to think, just pick a matchup you like and throw there." Im no football guru, but isnt most man to man also accompanied by some zone from safety/LB? If not accompanied with some zone then it usually has exotic blitzes mixed in

I mean Allen and offense putting up over 30 pts a game, but yet our “top 3 defense” form last year is also allowing over 30 pts a game... don’t you think maybe Allen could be even better if we actually had a run game to help balance??
