Lol...no, I meant all our problems were solved in one night of me dreaming...but it could definitely be interpreted both ways...😉
To be honest, I just really miss the full day draft. My buddies and I looked forward to having full day cook outs etc. every year.
This primetime stuff is for the casuals and I do not like it one bit. I also don’t like that it gives unprepared gms etc more time in between the 1st and 2nd to get things right. Beane would eat the old style draft up.

I actually dreamt this last night- except we gave the Eagles Edmunds plus #25 for #16...We then signed Wagner, drafted one of top 3 corners, and took a WR in the 2nd round, and all our problems were solved in one night...😉
So… in your dream the NFL went back to the old way of doing the draft and the 1st and 2nd round were on the same day?

C’mon Texans!

We should have signed Dalton, he would is a significant upgrade over Barkley or Keenum should the Bills be without Allen for a few games.
This post is proof that some people just can not be happy. Dalton?! Unbelievable.

I bet they knew they’d match right away, but wanted to make the Bears wait to address the position for trying to snag our guys.

Overpaying for average talent is how bad teams stay bad. That said the bears don’t have much choice but to overpay at this point in their rebuild.
Yeah, I’m not saying we should match. It’s a weird move to offer a guy a nice contract for that little of a starting sample. But like you said, they might not have any other choice.
With that said, I’m hoping Beane found out what they offered and is looking for a better/comparable option for the same amount of money. Not really sure what’s out there at this point. But I’d really hate to go into the draft with a hole at guard.

Solid contribution imo.
Lemme guess, you wrote this while wearing a sleeveless tee?
How about no tee Jay-fixit, how about no tee!
I was thundering away one key at a time like a triggered ol’ codger!
Just so we’re clear, I was shirtless when I wrote that original post.

Do you know where you read that? Thanks.
A comment section, guy said he knew someone. Like I said, rumor for sure. But if it is, I don’t see us matching that.

I think it'll be more than that....probably more like $5-7 million/year range.
I read 6.5 on the internet somewhere. Rumor for sure, but I don’t see us matching that.
But really, I don’t they would’ve bothered making the offer at all unless they thought it was a good one.

Man, fans get triggered quick. The Dolphins got better, all teams should. Im not going to quake in my boots every time a division rival snags a player.
All things considered I’d prefer Hill with Tua, than Hill with Mahomes.

Oof. For 1 year?
This is the year to do it. The Rams gave up more for Von’s services for half a year and it worked out well for them.

I feel like they’ll use the five days wisely. Try and find a comparable guard for less or the same amount. If they can’t, they’ll sign Bates.
Hopefully Bears didn’t offer too much to a guy that barely started.

Poor Cole Beasley, I will miss him...
Poor Cole Beasley? No. He did this to himself. Many players have opinions about things, they don’t use those opinions to drive wedges between the team and fanbase.
I liked him as a player, but him calling out fans cheering for him in the pouring rain was the last straw for me.

Lot of depth in this draft.
That’s why I wouldn’t really mind packaging and moving around to get your guys. It’s going to be really hard to justify keeping the later guys on the team. Not to mention the poaching for other teams.

I don't bet on any team I root for. If they lose it hurts even more. I was depressed for a week after the KC game. Can't imagine if I had also lost $1,000 on it
I don’t typically bet on the Bills for that very reason. With that said I was 13 seconds away from winning $750. Like you I was down in the dumps for a good week. The money didn’t really add to it much.
Though that could be because I didn’t lose anything, I used that free money from the caesers app to bet on it. Probably Helps.

well I for one would benefit from not seeing those commercials which depict him living at the stadium, funny for 1 year maybe, but not more...
I wonder how many more they had in the can? They probably expected a few more seasons of it.
There was a new one every time I saw one.

Why is the Watson thread pinned?
Not complaining, just wondering, there’s been a lot of big non-Bills signings and trades. Just kinda interested to know what makes this one pin worthy?

With the continued stockpiling of elite talent in the AFC, it will make running the gauntlet to the Super Bowl even more difficult. Getting the #1 seed in years past was always looked at in the context of your team getting an extra week to heal up before the start of the playoff push. Now with Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, Jackson, Watson, Wilson, and Burrow all in the AFC, there isn't a single easy out to be had. That's a real Murderer's Row. Derek Carr with Adams, Waller, and Renfrow won't be an easy out either.
Getting an automatic ticket to the Divisional Round means one less game against one of these QBs and that has to be the focus of the Bills this season. We can't have another Pittsburgh or Jacksonville game this year. The Bills will have the big advantage of playing in the weakest division in the AFC and they need to run the table or go no worse than 5-1 in division play.
Josh and company need to come out of the gate strong and start stacking wins. Getting that #1 seed and first round bye in the playoffs is going to be critical for the next decade in this crazy deep AFC if the Bills are going to win a championship.
I’d certainly prefer it. The way things look now, there’s going to be some really good teams in the wildcard round.
But either way, I expect a dogfight the entire playoffs.

I put $650 on two gem mint graded Allen rookies right before free agency. After the Von signing they’ve already made me an extra hundo.
If Josh wins the mvp or a SB, they’ll easily double.
Not as much of a pay out as some of you guys, but I can’t really see them losing much value if any.

Sure, sign Fitz. But not as a player. He could be the coaching equivalent of the guy in a ska band that doesn't sing or play an instrument. He just dances and plays tambourine while McDermott claps.
Well, in all honesty, isn’t that all we really hope we need out of our backup?

It's a vintage tackle box, but it's loaded with glass eye bucktail jigs from like 1960's, and a bunch of other assorted lures. I can probably sell the box itself for what I'm paying, and snag like 50+ absolutely deadly walleye jigs, and a bunch of other lures for pretty much nothing. The thing is the only guy who's bid has been bidding on like 30 different things all day, so I know he's lurking, too. Really hoping I can Mckissick his ass at the last second
Did you get it?!

What are we looking at? Gem mint Allen optic rookie?

Yeah, if they’re sidelining Arians for him then he’s staying where he is.
