Adams left b.c of money them being college teammates was a coincidence.

He has never been that good

I mean, maybe he’s lying but he just flat out said he went to the Raiders because of Carr.

“"Obviously, I don't think anybody was excited about it in here," Adams said, via Levi Edwards of the Raiders. "Him being one of my really good friends and the reason why I came here in the first place. I mean, I wouldn't be here right now if he wasn't here. I think everybody knows how I feel about him. With that said, this is the process of how things go, and I'm not gonna sit here and go on and on, but obviously I support my guy, and we gotta finish the season out the best way we can possible with all things considered at this point."”

  2. There’s got to be more to this story. I mean, he has his own line of bleu cheese, hot sauce, bbq sauce. There’s absolutely no way he’d just attach his name to something he didn’t have a hand in creating or at least a small interest in!

Why announce it now?  Why not just play out the season then announce?

He wanted to get his chance in the media. Probably knows of some other big names retiring (Brady, maybe?) and realizes his news will be dwarfed.

Go get yourself a new years massage or something. Not a Watson massage. Just a regular old massage should do.

Valid points. I mean Davis is squarely in the 20th-40th range in terms of most WR stats this year and is on pace for 942 yards and 8-9 TDs. Already has a career high in yards.

If there are 32 #1 WRs statistically, #2 WRs would fall between 33-64 logically. He is well within that range.

If people are disappointed in him, it largely is because they had unrealistic expectations to begin with. Only so many balls to go around.

Probably Madden related...that game has caused more ridiculous and unrealistic expectations over the last few decades than anything else.

    Madden related? Get outta here.

He was primed to take that next step. It hasn’t really worked out that way, but one only has to look at our division rivals the Dolphins to see a realistic comp of what people were expecting.

Everyone was saying the same thing you are about the Bills. Only so many balls to go around, etc. Waddle certainly has the edge on Gabe, but the Bills have Josh. His ridiculous arm, and play extending legs in a pass happy offense should have been more than enough to stay on par with those two. Not unrealistic, imo.

  7. Half?! That’s a good turnout. People have stuff to do, families, other engagements, etc.

Thats actually more than I would’ve thought would show.

There's a thing I believe on NFL.com that explains Wilson's cap hit for the next few years. OMG, I can't believe they did that. That being said, Hackett will be the scapegoat, right or wrong.

    Free Beer!

That kind’ve deal. There will probably be two coaches that gets the axe before Wilson.

Unless they can bring in a guy that did exactly what Carroll was able to do with him.

  8. Without the missed extra point the Lions would have gone for a touchdown. Would’ve changed their entire approach. The way they were moving they might have gotten it too.

Would’ve taken more time off the clock, and the Bills probably wouldn’t have had time to respond with a touchdown of their own. In hindsight the missed extra point may have been the best thing that could’ve happened to us.

But yeah, Oliver deserved a leg and a game ball.

Big Baller just texted me that "the win is in the bag" so we can all relax.

The problem with "I think they kinda botched it" is that the NFL makes the call (4PM Thurs). Then in combination with the NFL, weather experts, the airlines and a thousand other loose ends that need to be addressed to move the team on short notice, they came up with what they felt was the best plan.

Unless you know all the details they do, saying you think they botched it just seems (sorry) dumb.

Oh, and by the way. They're safely in Detroit, ready to play.

Hey man, that’s why America is great. You can disagree with me, and I can think they kinda botched it, and we can both be comfy and cozy eating fun snacks and watch the game.

But you and I both know, you weren’t sorry about saying my thought was dumb. Just own it.

Just as I’ll own that Khan kinda sucks. The character, the juries still out on the poster.

Man, some of you guys need to stop painting the organization with the stupid brush.

    Brandon and Whaley are gone.

They made a plan for a difficult situation. That plan worked. The game is in 4 hours, and some of you are still bitching about it.

I don’t know about bitching. Just a conversation. I think they kinda botched it. But if we win, who cares, right?

I for one enjoy the week after we win much more. So there’s a lot at stake for me. I emailed the Bills about my preference for a win, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.

They're probably busy, but like, inquiring minds, you know?

  11. The teams goes as Allen goes, fair or not. He’s the guy. We wouldn’t be half the team we are without him. With him we’re going to live by the gun, die by the gun.

I think he needs to remember that he has teammates that can make things easier on him, and he doesn’t have to do it all by himself. I think he will, and I think we’ll be fine.

I'm happy for Miami and their fans. They have a bright young HC that has completely transformed their culture and Tua is a legit MVP candidate right now likely battling it out with Mahomes down the stretch in terms of who ultimately wins it.

Also I agree with Hill, he's posting insane numbers and can argue he's as much an MVP of the league as Tua is.

Will be very surprised if they lose more than one game the rest of the way and I think they sweep the Bills this year unfortunately.

Happy for Miami and their fans? Gross.

I don't think that is healthy or normal. If football affects you so deeply, it might be best to take a break. Football is a game. It is supposed to entertain you.

Right. The worst part is that he said after one SB he’ll be free to move on. What? That sounds like a very unhealthy relationship. Like you said, this is supposed to be fun and entertainment. If it’s not that for him, he needs to move on.

Does it suck sometimes, sure. But that’s the price you pay for the good. If the good isn’t even good, I don’t see the point.

  14. This thread is… something. Context matters, but c’mon. We beat the Packers (who were full of juice) by 10 points. People have off games, outside of Diggs, most of the D, and Singletary, no one really played all that outstanding.

This should be something celebrated, not an indictment. How many teams can play a C game and come out winning by 10 points?

I get that we’re kinda spoiled these days, and that was less than stellar, but seriously. The team is great, deal with it.

The Bills have a little bit of wiggle room in maintaining the path to the 1 seed.  This is a MUST win to maintain what is essentially a 2 game lead for that.  Even though it's an 11 point spread, this is VS a QB that on a given day could duel with Allen.  It's at home an the Packers are on the ropes.  You don't want KC hanging around by cracking that door back open.

    Grow up.
