It’s more of a Dak cycle if you ask me. The guy gets paid all this money the other year but never won an important game in his career. He would choke every time he played a good team

Actually you are right it is a Dallas thing cause Romo did the same thing 😂

Meh, participation trophies aren't weird. Nobody thought they were cause you won. Was more like an achievement for completing the season trophy.

Also, I only got those in rec soccer when I was like 6 and 7. All the other trophies we won were earned.

If people want to get rid of an end of the season trophy that a six year old feels happy about fine. Then we need to stop making kids feel good by not telling them the truth everywhere...bye big dude in a red coat...😁

Tell them there’s no Santa? ….. I think you would be less salty if you received more participation trophies as a kid 😂

Man - has anyone checked other boards?  There is a profound existential crisis going on in New England right now.

Older fans there are fine - they're trying to walk the younger fans through it & give them the "it'll all be okay!" pep talk.

Younger fans are lost.  "All I've known is winning - what am I supposed to do with this?"  "It's not my fault that I grew up watching Boston sports win all the time!"

It's like watching a trust fund kid find out that a bad investment was made & they have to get a job now....

It’s also coming from the generation who introduced “participation trophies” “everyone’s a winner” 😂

  4. The tailgate was awesome. Very cold especially when the sun went down. Energy was great in the tailgate, everyone feeling confident and ready for the game. Through on a bunch more layers prior to walking into the stadium. In the stadium the cold was a non factor. Everyone was on there feet the entire time. The stadium was filled and rocking, extremely loud when the pats had the ball. The noise effected them a few times with some delay of game penalties. The action was non stop. It was glorious to watch the beat down of the pats in person and to be able to share that experience with my twin brother and fellow mafia members around us. On to KC!

It wasn't all in one draft. They spent 3 out of 4 first rounders on OL.

    2011 - Left Tackle - Tyron Smith - ELITE

    2013 - Center - Travis Fredrick - ELITE

    2014 - Guard - Zack Martin - ELITE

Thanks for clarifying. Let’s do that tho

  6. We need some roads graters on the Oline to set the tone. Remember when the Cowboys some years back drafted a bunch of Oline with their first few picks. That line became the best in football for several years. I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

McKenzie lost the punt return job his 1st year in Buffalo……16 returns with 2 fumbles…..he had 8 fumbles his rookie year in Denver. McKenzie doesn’t pass the eye test either on punt returns. If you want a punt catcher then put Hyde back there, but let’s not act like McKenzie puts everyone at ease when he’s back returning punts either.

Agree, I’m way more terrified of McKenzie muffing a punt then Stevenson. You can visibly see McKenzie freaking out back there returning punts, his mind is spinning and has no clue whether to fair catch it, let it go or try for a return. And you can tell by his reaction after every punt, it’s usually him pissed off cause he should have done the opposite of what he chose to do

Are you serious, or just punching me in the gut for giggles?  😋

I lived there for 18 years before the awful decision to end up in Atlanta. I would pack the car and drive back tonight if I could, but Atlanta offers job$ and Career$ Sarasota does not.

The Sarasota real estate market has to crash again. I saw this in 2004-2005, then came the first quarter of 2006. CRASH!  People would rather have an STD than real estate. I want nobody to get hurt, but I’ll be there in 5 years if they crash again. It has to come back to reality.

😂  no I’m serious. I went down there to see my god mother like 15 years ago and it was a blast to say the least. Like you said would love to move there but the market is crazy. Hope you are able to move there again soon. Happy new year.

Lil Dirty is the new Juice in Buffalo. If he never replicates that performance it will still live long in Bills lore.

On one hand I wonder what could have made McD sit such a beloved (to his teammates) player. I also marvel that McD has built a culture where such a thing is an afterthought. People continue to do their job.

It’s because we pay starting money to start Beasley not McKenzie. It’s just silly that our coaches either can’t evaluate the talent or they choose not to due to the amount of money Beasley makes over McKenzie. But this happened last year as well. Kenzie came in and had 2 tds and looked like the better player. I would bet, depending on his contract and all that, Beasley will be gone if it works financially for the Bills.

    Apparently one of each.

He’s muffed more than 1 punt in his day. I like the guy but he’s visibly shook back there returning. Time for our draft pick to get the nod, he most likely can’t do any worse, the kid look decent yesterday

It's just in some people's DNA.  I recall many wanting Andre Roberts gone in the offseason following him being - literally - the best returner in the NFL.  It's crazy.

How’s roberts doing this year? Oh yeah that’s right…
