What a bunch of balogna. You think the Bills would risk investigation from the league for falsifying an injury report?

If I remember correctly Jerry Hughes was injured last season but the bills never put him in their report. And he said like a big dummy that he wasn’t 100percent most of the season. So the answer is yes it does happen

I don't know when he got injured.  I'm not sure if it was at the game or after the game...I don't know.

Just because I don't know doesn't mean it doesn't happen.  Contrary to popular belief, I don't know everything.

Lol. I hear ya. I just want the guy in the game. It gives us the best opportunity to win that’s all. Just nervous playing without him

Please stop with the Tre White covid-19 conspiracy stuff.

I think I read somewhere that Friday's injury report would be the last one prior to the Tuesday game.

Believe me, if the league doesn't force the Bills to report on injuries, they ain't gonna say a word.

It’s being talked about cause tre was gonna opt out. So we have a valid point to talk about it on a message board

How is it skeptical?  Back injuries don't happen in the NFL?

He's not going to commit and then back out and fake an injury.

Well then tell me when did he exactly injure his back? Was it in the game? Couldn’t be practice cause he didnt practice all week.

Sure he can, he had someone from his family pass away or was very sick I don’t recall which one. And now he’s getting wet feet.

I hope he’s not but I just don’t feel good about it with what has been said thus far.

Then he would have opted out.

He was threatening to then decided not to. But now that a situation is in front of him he’s having seconds thoughts I’m sure. Cause let’s be serious this whole “back injury” thing seems a bit skeptical

You will be well served and have a hope of being a long term member of this group if you tone down your language (this is not me being an "internet tough guy", its in the terms of membership).

Also, hands off Hapless. He is one of the most respected and knowledgeable posters on this board and is running a discussion thread in "Off the wall" with data & analysis on Covid-19 which is far superior to any single source out there.

    In short, back off

Sorry I insulted the wisdom of the all mighty hapless. I wish I had the time he does to look up stuff all day and portray himself as the most intelligent knowledgeable dude on this board. I’ll know not to cross him now since you told me to ?

I'm a physician. The only part of this post that is even  close to accurate is that the athlete's parents would be at more risk.  Everything else is wrong.  Kids can get infected just as easily as adults. Kids have less symptoms and very low mortality. But kids especially infants can develop a rare inflammatory large blood vessel syndrome that can have lifelong sequela.

What I meant “doc” is that they don’t have symptoms which you know since your a physician of some sort and see people directly effected by this all the time ?

Brainwashed, "most of the population" would mean 165 million people.   Seroprevalence studies entirely fail to support your contention, by the way.

A contact tracing study of nearly 60,000 people in S. Korea found that when a 10-19 yr old was the index patient, they had a 1.6x higher attack rate. Outbreaks in various summer camps and in an Israeli high school appear to demonstrate incontrovertibly that kids are indeed, susceptible to it.  It is possible you mean something else than "susceptible to it" - unlikely to become seriously ill from it, perhaps?   Statistically, that last is true, but some who do become ill, become seriously ill indeed, as an ICU nurse I'm sure you can describe MIS-C.

Bottom line, if I were a multi-millionaire with a contractually negotiated right to opt out, I too could choose the level of risk I'm personally willing to accept.

PS Perhaps you should inject a few facts before complaining of "bs scare tactics".  When you say stuff that's just not true, the bs claim kind of boomerangs.  Just my opinion.

Correct what I meant was that 80% of the people infected by it will not have symptoms. And I don’t care about your google search on what population of South Koreans say when I see the effects first hand while you be an internet tough guy in your moms basement. So you can shove your opinion up your ***. I’m coming from the standpoint of seeing people die from this and I’m getting **** from morons. Unreal. Keep getting your info from CNN

most of the population eh? Bold statement based on nothing coming from someone proclaiming to be in medicine.

Based on what I’ve seen for the last 4 months ? Believe me friend I don’t care what you or anyone on this board thinks of whether I’m in medicine or not but I have a lot more important things to do then pretend I’m in medicine to convince a few fans of what the **** is happening. Most of us working tested positive for antibodies and not one of us had symptoms. Next time I’ll just remain silent and just read about your thoughts on something that you have no idea about.

  10. This is ridiculous, I’m an ICU nurse and these players are the healthiest population and if they are concerned about their kids getting it they too aren’t susceptible to it. If anything the players need to stay away from their parents. Enough of this bs scare tactics. Most of the population has it or had it and they didn’t even know it.

Myself personally,  Its not beyond the realms of possibility in my humble opinion. The Buffalo Bills still have the rest of the season to make improvements on an already very well coached, well manned football team. Think about it, Buffalo almost beats the high flying Patriots on what was arguably Allens worst game as a pro in only his 16th start. Combine that with some of the leagues perennial juggernauts hampered with injury minus franchise signal callers. At the beginning of the season Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns were dark horse favorites by many to go all the way. So why not this season? Why not Josh Allen? Why not Buffalo?

Watch for the Bills GM Beane to make a blockbuster deal before the trade deadline...

I agree, I usually don’t drink the kool-aid too much but the defense is Super Bowl caliber and if Allen can minimize his mistakes and just play solid ball it def is a possibility. I think we are an AJ Green away from taking the offense to another level. We can get there this year with him. Make it happen Beane.
