  1. Don't expect it to happen but Go Falcons. Bills will have a share of 1st place in the division again if the Pats lose.
  2. Obviously like most I felt the game was over when the Bucs went ahead 27-20. The Bills showed a lot today with their gritty come from behind win but you have to be very concerned going forward regarding the defense being exposed in recent weeks especially against teams that still might not be true contenders like the Bengals and Bucs. Also potential significant injuries to Poyer and Gaines loom large with another pass happy team like the Raiders on deck.
  3. Gaines seems to be the new Aaron Williams. Very good when he plays but not durable at all, if we are without him and Poyer next week Carr is going for 400+ yards against this defense for sure.
  4. Even the Chargers are looking like a SB contender in recent weeks and we still have to play them too. Yes all these games are going to give me severe heartburn and anxiety!
  5. Is it just me or does O'Leary always seem open? Hoping to see him get more action in the coming weeks even with Clay back in the lineup presumably at some point.
  6. Anybody else concerned about this game? Especially with the Carr and their offense coming to life last week and extra time to prepare of the Bills?
  7. Of course, we are still very much in the mix but the Raiders game is already making me paranoid for obvious reasons. KC is their big win for the time being but the Steelers are always in the mix because of their coach and QB and don't get enough credit because of a certain coach/QB combination that has had even more success the last 15 years up in NE.
  8. I did, I had Koetter on the brain for some reason. He's a great offensive mind and definitely has a ton of talent to work with in Tampa. But i did mean that you have to give credit to Dennison for some having some brass balls late in the game and not calling safe stuff. No secret I'm a big Taylor critic but he can make plays downfield when given the opportunity, just not the guy you want leading a team from behind on a regular basis.
  9. Once Clay is back in the lineup Thompson could truly flourish as a deep threat.
  10. I'm with you on that sense Scott, I'd gladly take 10 wins against crap teams and the playoffs but it's not happening this year with the schedule we have left. Going to have to find a way to steal a game against the Saints, Pats x2, Chiefs, Dolphins x2 etc
  11. Man the Steelers are looking FEROCIOUS, they are going to run away with the AFC North and be in the mix for the top seed in the AFC.
  12. I talked to some contacts of mine in the scouting world and just like with Peterman, some feel that Milano was a potential diamond in the rough pick where he was drafted and probably should have went much higher.
  13. We need quality wins and so far looks like we are beating a lot of pretenders and also rans. If Falcons get hammered by the Pats tonight (which I suspect will be the case) it also makes us look like a paper tiger sadly.
  14. Saw a post on facebook that Poyer is out at least a month, hoping this is just a rumor.....
  15. Going to be an interesting situation when Humber is healthy because I expect him to have his starting job back but no question Milano needs more reps, wonder if he can steal some from Alexander who is also terrible in coverage for the most part despite his great run defense and pass rushing ability.
  16. Not surprised The Hoodie was after a player like this, Pats have been making shrewd in season pickups like this for years so thank goodness for the waiver wire rules in terms of claims.
  17. Glenn actually graded out very well which surprises me, Thompson and Milano however were L.A.R.G.E. and key contributors: https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-refocused-buffalo-bills-30-tampa-bay-buccaneers-27/
  18. Thompson's play today was L.A.R.G.E. PFF game ball:
  19. Yep and Broncos getting shutout by Chargers. Was hoping Bengals would win today and prove our loss against them was a fluke but that's not going to happen.
  20. Again, we aren't going to keep creating 3 TO's a game. It's not he way it works in this league. And despite doing it again though, we still barely won the game. Just like how we avoid a very ugly blowout in Cincy because the TO's kept the game close. The book is out on this defense and we are breaking more than bending recent weeks and this will certainly continue against upper echelon NFL QB's. The LB corps has been decent in run coverage but they are among the league worst against the pass. Also falling to 3-3 would have been a back breaker with the Raiders on deck, I don't think we are going to be able to beat them if the defense plays like they have the last few weeks again.
  21. It was a typo, meant dennison obviously.
  22. Talk about a true wildcard, without him we very well may lose the game. Wouldn't expect this type of production every week though but at least he provided a legit vertical threat.
  23. That's not good, he'll miss at least a game or two then.
  24. Because his playcalling won us the game quite frankly. After the Bucs went up 27-20 we could have easily went into the predictable 'stick to the gameplan' route and ran the ball on 1st & 2nd down, or tried dinking and dunking down the field and we didn't do that. Right out of the gate he dialed up a nice deep pass and even the Taiwan Jones play on 3rd down was very shrewd in hindsight.
  25. SaviorThompson would be a great username.
