    Here were the highlights:

    1. A gay man told me how to be a Christian

Why does being gay matter for this?

    3. All of the candidates told me they’re going to pass legislation even though the President doesn’t write laws.

What President doesn’t promise crap like this?

Enjoy the days of cheap streaming services while you can.  It will soon go the way of the VCR as well

All the big media production companies are getting into the streaming business and in the process have been pulling their content from Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Vue, etc.  Eventually we are going to need accounts for each.

Yes and no. I don’t need more than 2 decent content providers.

Sure I’m curious about the CBS Star Trek series and Twilight Zone reboot but whatever. I get enough content elsewhere. Netflix and Prime Original content is about all I have time for.

Eventually CBS will sell access to just their shows (to get money later) and I can buy just them. The days of urgently knowing what is happening on any show are over. TV shows are now like books. You can talk to people who have seen them and recommend them to people who haven’t.

Occasionally there may be a huge breakthrough show like GoT where people will obsess over live or near live viewing but mostly no one cares about that anymore.

The splintering of content is fine with me as long as it remains easy to switch. If providers go to a true ala carte model, that will be interesting.

I read a wh8ile back that Pete plays guitar and piano.  However I could only find one video of him playing guitar.  So I gotta question it.  Any musician that can do anything has videos on youtube.  Here is the only one I've been able to find. Until I see real playing, I'm classifying him as a wannabe.

Even I can put my name in youtube and videos of me playing drums on the first page.

Not playing on YouTube doesn’t move me, but he’s a hack. No offense to him because I’m also a hack guitar player. But playing 3 bar chords does not make him a guitar player and you can tell he has no chops. FakeNews.

Also what a mess that they gave him an electric guitar and then have him play unplugged. And he agreed. If he wins the Primary, this settles it: MAGA all the way!

How is healthcare by the government going to be paid for?

    Credit.

Over 3 million people working for insurance healthcare companies.  Unemployment line will be long.

The government will need 5x that number to administer it. It’s a hiring program.

It's been consistently reported that the order of snaps in RB practice is McCoy, Gore, Singletary.  He's done well, but he's a long way from beating out McCoy.

I'm a little surprised we haven't heard much from Yeldon. He caught 55 passes last year. The Bills are stacked at RB, although two of them are pretty old.

Once again you and I agree... but from one business owner to another I didn’t sign up to be the only one paying for all of this ridiculous spending! Obama raised my taxes because he said my country needed it during the recession. I didn’t complain. Now with the recession long ago over Trump put the rate back where it was. Sounds right to me. Now it’s time for Congress to start slashing...but they won’t.

Happy to lay blame wherever it needs to be laid. Congress too. But you asked about what I disliked most about Trump’s policies outside his general poor leadership so there it is.

There is nothing "fine" about the ACA. It has contributed significantly to double digit annual rate hikes and the rise in deductibles for private insurance due to mandated coverages,  and the increase in government funded (Medicaid) care which forces providers to accept way below market rates.  It's a cluster _ _ _ _.

To be clear, I was saying that his tearing of the ACA down was fine.

And for the record, the double digit increases were happening before and after the ACA. The ACA didn’t cause them. It just did nothing to affect them.

Thanks for taking the challenge. So it sounds like your biggest problems are national fiscal policy? That’s fair, but as one of those who’s paying for more than my ‘fair share’ I don’t hold the same concerns. I’d rather see people employed! I’ll depend on Congress, not the President, to cut spending. It’s their job!

I care about our future. Borrowing to get the BMW now is a bad deal for my kids.

I own businesses and am very much in touch with my tax bill. I am happy to pay less but I see zero fiscal responsibility from Trump.

Credit it where it's due. Your post on grabbing the light had me in stitches. I even paired the personalities.

Wrong. My grandparents came in the correct way, per the laws of our country and therefore respected the laws of our country. They bought into America. They weren’t tenants. I don’t know anyone who’s against legal immigration. Thousands of people immigrate legally every year and eventually become citizens....just like my grandparents did! HUGE difference.

About a million people immigrate and become lawful residents here each year legally. Close to 3x more became than enter illegally.

And the illegal immigrant population is declining here.

I assumed you were talking about the majority of immigrants, who I guess you welcome wholeheartedly then. Which is good, because there are 45 million of them and they make up about the same % of our population as they did when your great grandparents arrived.

Now please name four concrete policies or actions that you’re critical of the President on. And the content of his tweets doesn’t count!

1.Pushing and signing off on recent budget.

    2. Tax cut without spending cuts in excess of tax cuts.

    3. Veto of Saudi arms sales embargo

4 - Tear down of ACA (which was fine) without anything in its place

Generally, his isolationism (except as noted below) is a big problem as well.

On the positive side, I'll give his 4 best:

1- China (I could list this as 1-4 because this is my runaway favorite). Trade disparity, IP theft, currency manipulation--the economic wins here are worth fighting for. He's yet to show he can win the regional influence war in Asia so I'd watch that.

2 - Broadly, peace. Trump is getting us disentangled from a lot of war zones and his willingness to talk to the crazy ***** helps peace

3 - Immigration, kind of. He has floundered around looking for solutions on this starting with some ideas that were stupid (the wall) and landing more recently on interesting ideas to pressure Mexico to be the buffer. It's not a high priority (for me) and he's spending way too much time on it but there may be progress there.

4 - Judicial appointments. Setting aside the two SC judges, he's remaking the courts in a great way.

And that’s the problem with letting everyone in so easily. They have a sense of entitlement, and don’t want to assimilate. If it continues unabated , pretty soon you don’t have a country anymore. This is something that should concern all native born Americans, not just Trump supporters. It’s a real threat, as today’s immigrants are not the same as our great grandparents were.

You know who you sound like?

The generation who was here when our great grandparents arrived.

This not a battle of good vs evil, or even left vs right in the traditional sense. IMHO This is a battle of the public sector vs the private sector. That’s partly why you see so much traction for socialism. There’s a segment of the population that isn’t turned off by a complete public sector takeover. Donald Trump, an outsider, who’s used to getting things done is a HUGE threat to the waste that’s rampant in the public sector and the ‘Deep State’ doesn’t want that light shined to deep into their murky, corrupt and slovenly swamp.

You realize Trump and current Reps is spending more and taxing less right? Is this the responsibility government of which you speak? Because I see the budget decisions of the last few years exacerbating a serious long term problem. He looks a lot like what has come before on govt growth.

I have gone to St. John Fishers training camp for the last 15 or so years. There absolutely a smooth precise feeling about this one. I just dont see a lot of ineffective/inefficient stuff going on. In terms of this year vs last year...there seems to be much more individualized teaching going on. The coaches "seem" to be having fun while looking confident. However, it could just be the team has more competent/experienced players and the staff has had another year of continuity.

    It’s almost like continuity matters.

The coaching and GM carousel is a guaranteed disaster. That doesn’t mean you don’t fire the bad ones, but just that we need to be patient. Plenty of people—heck tons of people—wanted McBeane fired when they traded Dareus for next to nothing.

And now here we are. Out of cap hell for the first time in forever. Evaluating a potential franchise QB (too early but he shows promise).

And the coaching staff returns. It’s great. I’m not sure McD is the next Belichek but we need a rudder in the water for a while and I hope he’s that guy.

I think contrarians believe Deep State is some sort of secret club when in reality it’s just government staffers circling the wagons to protect themselves, their jobs, and their enabling friends in the media.

The entrenched government worker is the leviathan that will always be hard to drain from the swamp. Humans will always be imperfect.

The DS narrative that runs though much of the posting is a battle of good vs evil with Deep State tentacles reaching into any 4chan corner of deviant behavior anyone feels inclined to post.

  15. Foster was a great story last year. But in many ways all he did was survive until trash wideouts dropped and Josh was a better QB. If he wants to prove that he’s more than the tallest Lilliputian, he needs to earn it. I hope he does because he was fun. But I don’t expect last year’s UDFA to best out Beasley and Brown.
