  1. Great player, solid individual. Roll Tide! https://www.theplayerstribune.com/minkah-fitzpatrick-thank-you-alabama/
  2. FSU lost Francois in the 4th quarter against Alabama. There's no telling how good they would have been if that hadn't happened.
  3. FSU was #2 when Alabama beat them. It wasn't their fault FSU nose dived when they lost their star QB. Wisconsin was way overrated. How is a team with "no resume" deserving? The walking off the set explanation doesn't make any sense. He needs to think before he open his mouth.
  4. Don't get how Alabama didn't have good wins. They beat FSU (#2 at the time), LSU, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M. They had at least as many good wins as OSU and they didn't get blown out by an unranked team. Alabama was a no-brainer.
  5. Okay, so Alabama made it to the final 4 even though they had no resume, according to Herby, because OSU had a worse resume? is that the logic here? It makes no sense. What made him flip even though OSU beat WI? How do you go from having no resume to advocating for the top 4?
  6. "Herbstreit said Alabama “doesn’t have a résumé” if it loses to Auburn in a massive Iron Bowl on Saturday to decide the SEC West. The Crimson Tide enter the game at Auburn with an 11-0 record. The Tigers are No. 6 in the CFP rankings." Alabama lost to Auburn, and I guess they had a good enough resume, lol. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. An admitted homer who claims to be objective, but isn't. https://www.landof10.com/ohio-state/ohio-state-kirk-herbstreit-football-fan-espn
  7. BS. https://www.seccountry.com/alabama/kirk-herbstreit-alabama-doesnt-resume-college-football-playoff-loss-auburn He's an OSU homer. He predicted that they would win the National Championship, of course.
  8. Ohio State homer. Don't care for him at all. Cry baby. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/college/othercolleges/2017/12/04/kirk-herbstreit-leaves-espn-set-after-alabama-gets-college-football-playoff-spot-over-ohio-state-buc/918394001/
  9. Thanks for the kind words. I am from WNY, but my mother's family is from TN. Here is a great story you may appreciate. Too bad it won't go viral. There are so many stupid stereotypes which divide us. http://yellowhammernews.com/faithandculture/im-black-man-moved-alabama-heres-found/
  10. Maybe I am completely wrong. It happens from time to time and my wife reminds me about it frequently. Great story. I am sincerely glad that life has turned out well for you. I am passionate about UA because my son had a great experience there and it was an excellent value. He is very successful and his education at Alabama hasn't hurt him one iota. I'll be forever grateful to the school.
  11. Feelingonyouboty, it seems that you may think the NFL should be a platform for players personal political beliefs. A lot of people disagree with you.
  12. Do you really think that Rosen is a fit for the culture McDermott and Beane are trying to build? I don't.
  13. I like McCarron. He was a solid performer at UA and he's played well in his limited opportunities in the NFL. He's a good guy and I think he would be a cultural fit for the team. He would be an upgrade over Taylor, in my opinion. He has good, but not spectacular arm strength, and he's reasonably mobile, but certainly not a scrambler. My son is actually a UA grad. I recall at orientation we sat near McCarron in the cafeteria. While he was eating lunch, a parade of co-eds interrupted him to get a picture. He was very accommodating.
  14. I had Dareus pegged his first year and took a lot of heat for it. I am pretty confident I'm right on Rosen too, but we'll see. i think that he will be a major headache and a distraction and besides that. his durability is a huge question mark.
  15. BigBuff423, counterpoint. NFL Scout and Executive on Josh Rosen: "Tons of Issues" and "a Mess Off the Field" http://thebiglead.com/2017/05/04/nfl-scout-and-executive-on-josh-rosen-tons-of-issues-and-a-mess-off-the-field/ He should play football and save his social justice warrior activities until he graduates. How well do you think his teammates will take to him trashing their alma maters? He targeted Alabama and Clemson in his ignorant comments, but it could have been any school that he perceives isn't the equal of UCLA. UCLA QB Rosen’s demeanor reportedly cost him offer from Stanford https://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/ucla-bruins-stanford-cardinal-josh-rosen-dream-school-101515
  16. "He was concerned about the general welfare of his teammates and fellow students when in high school" What does that mean? Colin is very concerned about the welfare of humanity too. How has that worked out? The guy is a loose canon who has no filter ie. wearing an F Trump hat to Trump's golf course, making an idiotic statement about Alabama, etc. Red flags all over this guy. We'll see how much further he drops after the interviews. He has bust written all over him. http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2018/02/is_ucla_qb_josh_rosen_tumbling_mel_kiper_explains.html
  17. The personality stuff isn't trivial for a quarterback. I don't see him as a cultural fit for Buffalo. And I don't think his rich kid elitist attitude will help him.
  18. Show me your data on the average football player at UA vs UCLA. I am sure Rosen heavily researched it before he shot of his mouth and showed what an idiot he is. Funny, I don't see UCLA on this list. Per APR scores, Alabama can claim top 25 status academically as well as on football field https://www.seccountry.com/alabama/per-apr-scores-alabama-football-can-claim-top-25-status-academically-as-well-on-the-field
  19. US News rankings are largely meaningless, look at the metrics they use. By the way, UA is tied for 110. UA is in the Princeton Review top 382 which put its in the top 12% of all 4 year colleges. I guess like Rosen, ya'll aren't aware of UA's guaranteed merit scholarships that they have attracted top student from around the country. http://www.businessinsider.com/ronald-nelson-turned-down-every-ivy-league-school-for-university-of-alabama-2015-5 https://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/06/education/edlife/survival-strategies-for-public-universities.html
  20. Sounds like whining to me. Alabama has fine academics. He should look at his own school before he open his yap. http://dailybruin.com/2009/01/06/emucla-should-not-lower-admission-standards-athlet/
  21. 40% of the students at UA have an ACT score of 30 or greater and 25% have an ACT score of 32 or greater. UA's 75th percentile ACT score puts it in the range of elite public schools. The majoring of student at UA are from out of state. You need to do your homework.
  22. Interesting topic, but how could Rosen think that bringing The University of Alabama into the discussion could lead to anything good?
  23. How so? How well did engaging in politics work out for Colin? What was the point of mentioning Alabama and how was it relevant to balancing academics and football? He's an immature dumb ass. Maybe too much soaking in the hot tub in his dorm room?
  24. He's doing a good enough job on his own with his childish and immature behavior.
  25. Dumb ass. https://www.si.com/college-football/2016/08/08/josh-rosen-ucla-donald-trump-photo Double dumb ass. https://www.seccountry.com/alabama/ucla-star-qb-josh-rosen-alabama
