  1. I'm good with Freddy as starter and X-mon as backup. Maybe we could coax Carwell Gardner out of retirement...
  2. I'm not imagining anything. He wants to be the highest paid LT in the league. Considering he started out as a project and was probably paid accordingly, I think he's just trying to recoup what he thought was lost potential income. Welcome to the real world, Jason. Perform consistently for a duration and eventually you'll be compensated. Look at Thomas Vanek of the Sabres. He was underpaid but kept playing and didn't threaten to holdout. Eventually, he got a nice contract offer.
  3. My whole beef with the Peter's thing is this: he is under contract. Forget all the crap about "What's his value to the o-line?" & "How much money should he be paid?". Yada, yada, yada... He was only in the second year of a five year contract. At least get your greedy ass into camp, help your team, and increase your visual value by trying to look like a good guy/team player. He got bit with the selfish bug for two reasons. First, he made the pro-bowl the year before (deservedly so) and second, Dockery was way overpaid which made Peters resentful. I agree that Jason should be paid more but not as the highest LT in the league and not for pulling the crap that he's doing. If he doesn't want to play ball, then sit for the season, you selfish bastard.
  4. Mother-Falcon true that!!!
  5. First off, I don't think he's all that at LT. He may be the best we currently have (although, I think Walker filled in admirably the first two games) but compared to other left tackles around the league, he's maybe in the top 10. Secondly, if he pulls this contract bullsleet now, who's to say he won't do it again two seasons from now (see Bruce Smith). I say, trade him off to Philly and get one of their 1st round picks. Considering this guy was an undrafted FA and was paid close to minimum for his first few years, I think the Bills have already gotten their money's worth.
  6. To all Bills fans: Enough with the freaking Mort bashing! Even if he has a grudge against the Bills, let him enjoy it by himself. Jesus H. Christ in a pawnshop! If you don't like what he's saying, don't listen. If you don't like onions on your hamburger, don't order them. Tim, any chance the Bills try to move up in the 1st round to grab the best defensive end? I think LDE is probably our weakest spot on the team at the moment. Thanks.
  7. and some people are beating Sarah Silverman's drum. Sarah ditches Jimmy
  8. wow... um......try clicking this
  9. Don't know if this has been posted. Edwards excited about adding T.O.
  10. Hey Tim, Should the Bills try re-signing Angelo Crowell?
  11. I realize that it was pretty crappy of him to elect for surgery right before opening weekend last year, but if we're willing to take a chance on Owens, then let's go all in! It would give us one less position to have to fill and we could probably do it for less than what a decent FA would command.
  12. Fixed. Does that go for Re-ebok as well?
  13. Personally, I think he was good, when healthy.
  14. Mine was the comeback game against Houston. My dad, myself, and a stripper (who was a big Bills fan) from Club Diamond Dust (I was a DJ there at the time) were at the game. We almost left after the interception to start the 3rd but my dad and I were still waiting on the stripper to return from the bathroom after halftime. By the time she got back, we had just scored twice and were back in the game.
  15. Although I still feel like DJ will never be a winning coach, I'd be willing to hang on to him for one more year if we get this team lotsa help in the following order: 1. A Bill Polian/Scott Pioli-type of GM instead of this corn-skinner we have now. 2. A creative freaking OC! Haven't seen one of those since Marchibroda was here. 3. How about a real pass rush? 4. And finally, a damn tightend! Jay Riemersma would be welcome about now.
  16. Why don't we hire Bill Polian back while we're at it.
  17. I had commented on this very thing earlier. Until Ralph hires a proven GM, this team will remain a coaches graveyard.
  18. Imagine if we had someone like Bill Polian. I bet he could bring in some better talent.
  19. How about we keep Jauron but get rid of Ralph.
  20. What if Ralph, or his daughter for that matter, moved the team to LA? Cleveland got another team. Maybe we need a new team/owner. As much as I love the Bills, I'm sick of Ralph's meddling and tight-fistedness.
  21. I'd take their HC over ours, as well.
  22. We don't have the personnel to operate a malt shop. Who are you kidding?
