  1. I read a lot of posts here prophesizing how we're going to get our butts whooped on Sunday and Taylor isn't even going to surpass 100 yards passing.

To some of those posters, I've been trying to put out this fun little bet with what I think are kinda fun consequences.

I'm going to put this out in a thread to see if there are any takers. If there are no takers, I guess no bet. But considering how absolutely so many posters here speak about what will happen this coming Sunday, I'll be surprised if there are no takers.

It's simple, just say "I'm in for (Bills L OR Taylor under 200 yards) OR (Bills W and Taylor over 200 yards passing)"

If you bet the Bills L OR Taylor under 200 yards, but the Bills Win AND Taylor passes for over 200 yards- You agree that you won't say a single negative thing about the team as a whole, players on the team individually, coaches, etc on TBD all the way up until kickoff when we play the Falcons the following week.

If you bet the Bills W and Taylor over 200 yards, but the Bills Lose OR Taylor passes for less than 200 yards- You agree that you won't say a single positive thing about the team as a whole, players on the team, individually, coaches, etc on TBD all the way up until kickoff when we play the Falcons the following week.

No prodding or personally attacking the other side if they lose, we'll just all expect them to abide by the terms of the bet, which will only last a week.

I'm in for the Bills W and Taylor over 200 yards.

Need at least one poster to bet against that, but wouldn't this be so much more fun if all the prophets came out and really demonstrated how great they are at prophesizing? :flirt:

I'll bet over 200 yards and the W.

Why? Because this what the freakin Bills have done forever. Win games they aren't supposed to win and lose games they are.

Result will be 7-9 and picking #12 this year.

We will miss out on a QB yet again.

    Book it.

If shutting myself up for a week is the price for a W then mark me down for L < 200. Without Sammy, Robert and Flash he'll be lucky to reach 160. I want Darnold more than any qb in the last decade. After we lose to Denv. & ATL, Peterman will be summoned.

    Me too man.

Sadly, it's a pipe dream. The Jets and Niners have him wrapped up.

  2. And we'd need a young Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers with the group of receivers we have

I just don't agree with this.

You can give him a few more weapons and it won't fix the major issues he has.

Can't read a defense, can't throw to the middle of the field, not accurate, doesn't stay in pocket, thinks run first...

He's bad. He isn't even average. The league told us all we needed to know about TT when nobody gave him an offer that was worth a crap last offseason but us.

    Sad!

  3. After seeing how Mike McCoy is using Semien in Denver. He has that offense clicking with a QB who is worse than TT. So I'm getting tired of all of the Tyrod blame. TT is far from elite, but this piss poor offense is on Dennison so far. MCCoy devised an offense to work to Semien's strengths.

    Let's compare O's

    Tyrod > Semien

    Shady > CJ Anderson

    Tolbert/DiMarco = Jamal Charles

    Oline is a wash

    J Matthews < D Thomas

    Zay = E Sanders

    Holmes = Latimer

Talent wise both offenses are a wash. Last year Denver looked bad on O and in comes McCoy and it's a new breath of life. If McD could have enticed McC to come here, we would be singing a different tune and marching toward the playoffs. Remember, Rico was a 2nd or 3rd choice for OC. To me, Rico is on par with Hackett. There is a reason he was demoted twice in Denver, never did anything in Houston and was a QB coach in Baltimore. We lost a lot not landing McCoy as OC.

I hate to see it, but if MCD wants to step it up, he starts looking for a new OC next year. Maybe we get our QB, maybe we don't, but there is worse offensive talent on half the AFC rosters. A better OC would go a long way to solving some problems.

Let's see if Rico can adapt and get this offense rolling. I have my doubts.

Stopped reading when you said Tyrod was better than Siemian.

  4. Nothing.

I want the NUMBER ONE QB on Brandon Beane's board.

That's the mission and the goal this year. Everything else is irrelevant.

Want this crap to end once and for all? Get a franchise guy under center here next year and upgrade the line.

This defense is ready now to win. Missing piece is QB and RT.

  5. Especially if they expected this defense to actually be decent to possibly great which is what they've shown so far. Why ruin any real chance this team might have had for the playoffs?

I get that they didn't forsee a long term future with Watkins and might have felt he wasn't going to stay healthy. But to stockpile slot receivers and not bring any semblance of a vertical threat to the offense is bush league at best.

And I don't blame Beane for letting Gillesle go since that was Whaley, but relying a 34 short yardage back to be the primary back to a great RB whose been often injured in Buffalo is a recipe for disaster. Quality RB's might be a dime a dozen but we really don't have much behind McCoy.

Also insisting on starting Jordan Mills at RT is a trainwreck and there has to be a better turnstile we could have signed off the street. Regardless it's a matter of time before this guy sends the entire QB depth chart to IR.

We seen some terrible offenses the last 17 years in Buffalo but after setting ominous records yesterday (like 7 net passing yards at halftime) it's not getting any better and even a QB change to Peterman might not matter.

A real QB solves it all.

  6. So you think you saw a terrible loss? Terrible clock management? Terrible quarterback play?

    Fine. Check out now.

If you think the Bills are heading for 1-15 based on what you saw today, there are 31 other teams to choose from. Buh-bye.

The last thing I want anyone to endure is watching inferior football for the next 15 weeks, so just give up now and learn to be a Pats or Packers fan.

I saw a gutsy team come that close to winning a game they were dominated on offense.

I saw a team keep MVP Cam Newton out of the endzone, twice from inside the 10.

I'm going to stick around and see where this team can grow. The rest of you can just check out.

Checking out here until Tyrod Taylor isn't under center anymore.

Can't take watching it one more second of my life.

You can blame McDermott, the refs, the blocking, the waterboy, or whoever you choose, the blame is squarely on the QB. He just isn't good and will never be in this league.
