  1. This^^^^^

Front office unloads a worthless unproductive player who's $16 million salary is eight-times the three players who replace him and have double the production of him and our front office is the worst ever?

Obviously the OP failed to research FACTS, like the Bills being 6th in the league vs the run and 4th in least amount of yards per rush not to mention a record of 4-2...all with a bunch of "scrubs" and with Dareus contributing all of 1 tackle and 2 assists heading into last week and 4/4 overall. Not to mention all the off the field suspensions and distractions, which we will have no idea how much he exactly poisoned the locker room with all of his BS.

And of course, the OP is a seasoned Pro talent evaluator who knows that thus far Sammy has been....Sammy, and Darby, who hurt himself, wasn't exactly dominating his position at the time of his injury. Or letting Gilmore go who is getting burnt like toast in NE. Jonathan Williams??? What is he doing? Mind you we didn't make a single playoff game with any of these players.

Just like NE, when you build a team no player is bigger than the whole. BB has run the Patriots like this for years and look at his success. You think cutting Lawyer Milloy in 03 was easy? Yet his team rallied and won a SB.

That's what I love about McD. He'll cut anyone who doesn't fall in line. He's upfront and the players and guys like Kyle Williams and Eric Wood love him cuz he gives respect as well as commands it.

I like what we are building. I like our front office too bringing in these guys like Milano, Humber, Poyer, Hauschka who were out their in FA or drafted late and playing important roles and falling into the team mentality.

Whoever doesn't like it can go follow another team.

    100% agree.

    Great post.

  2. Hue Jackson could be fired before they get back from London this week!

    Pagano is also toast

Believe it or not, people on the BBMB were ready to set OBD on fire for not hiring Hue Jackson.

Yeah no way pagano makes it. That could be a landing spot for arians if he left az. Hes been there before. Harbaugh to indy makes too much sense though

I tell you a surprise firing. Tennessee canning Mularkey for not making playoffs and hiring McDaniels. Jon Robinson is the GM of the Titans and him and McD are close.

Talk about the perfect marriage? McD+Mariota=scary.

  3. In a parity driven league, falling more victim to that description by the day, you either have an elite QB or your nothing. In that, even teams with the so called elite signal callers have fallen to the wayside. Who are the the tier 1 contenders in the AFC with an elite QB? NE, KC, PIT? You could argue KC and PIT may or may not fit that description. Most elite QB's have had father time run it's course. While these QB's can still show signs of former greatness the pure dominance that elevated them and the teams they played for isn't the same as it once was. In all this parity teams are trying to follow the win with QB blue print, they do so at the expense of development which often shows up in the form of losing. Specifically, losing through turnovers. Not I say the Buffalo Bills.

What makes us special? We never turn the ball over. Repeat like Billy Bean in Moneyball. We never turn the ball over. We know who Tyrod is and isn't. Not a pocket passer, chunk plays buying time, great runner, good deep ball, sacks, poor vision.... etc. He doesn't turn the ball over and he moves the chains enough in combination without turning it over to win games. Now, for the first time, we compliment that style with a defense that generates turnovers in chunks. This team is +10 in turnover margin and while that tends to be one of the least consistent stats around, we do it in such a way that makes it nearly certain it will continue. As stated, Taylor will not suddenly start turning it over. He's been playing turnover free ball since arriving in Buffalo. Now he has a defense that pressures the QB, forces dink and dunk long drives, and poor decisions....

Yes, the drought will end this year. I don't say that as hopeful, fandom, chain reaction, etc. We currently lead the league in turnovers and I expect us to finish the year in the top 3 in that area. You finish top 3 and you make the playoffs. I never would have thought it would be this year, this team. We can beat anybody and we can lose to anybody. In the end it will be a Wild Card.

    Agreed.

    It ends this year.

This team is special and we have finally hit on a HC.

  4. Most complete, entertaining game under Coach McDermott.

Best game I've seen from Tyrod in a while.

Next man up working: Thompson, Davis, Milano, O'Leary, Taiwan Jones, etc.

Team overcame two blown coverages for TDs, missed FG and a rare Shady fumble to persevere, and get the TD and turnover, leaving it to our kicker to get us the game.

Tyrod going from 2-16 to 3-16 when being down by 4+ points is a positive - as we can't play every game while leading.

Zay Jones hung onto his receptions, Tyrod still trusts him based on targets.

I saw some bad things this game, but also some real positives.

I'm still not sure if we are a contender or a pretender, but it's been an entertaining ride this far.

    Agreed.

    This team is special.
