He was a projected 3rd round pick. He fell to the 5th fortunately for us. Was the most nfl ready qb in the class according to experts. All you have to do is watch him play to know he's a better pocket Passer than Taylor. Is he the future? Who knows, but I'd take my chances the next 7 games. We also have 5 high draft picks in 2018. Zero risk and lots of reward
My thoughts exactly.

Next week will be the typical nail in coffin game to push this streak to 18.
Never again will this team fool me.

Is it just me, or does Peterman just look like such a better quarterback? I mean all the fundamentals you have to have to be an NFL qb, like height, throwing guys open, seeing the field etc. Man I'm so over Taylor
I️ thought the same thing today.

From McDermott in post game presser.
Put the Peterman talk to bed.
-
No way he starts.

The only thing that would make me excited about the chargers game is if Peterman was named the starter. In 2 drives the guy is showing more then Tyrod. At least this guy looks at the !@#$ing WRs
Same thoughts.
Absolutely no way he benches TT.
-
Would love for Peterman to start but we all know that’s not happening.
-
We will be 5-7 really fast. The wheels are flying off.
-
Embarrassing is an understatement.
-
This team looks so bad today.
-
The typical third and Long checkdown. Makes me sick.
-
I️ hate to say it but this is a repeat of 2011.

Hue Jackson needs to be the first guy gone no questions.
The guy is like 1-24 or something crazy like that.
I remember over on the old BBMB people jumping off bridges that we didn’t hire Hue lmao.
-
I just don’t see it.
I’m calling 8-8.
-
It was great.
Really enjoyed watching it.

So I got to thinking and want to ask you guys.
Lets say Indy or San Fran ends up with the #1 overall pick. Very possible. We know they are NOT drafting a QB. So...
I have a few questions for the board.
1. If you’re Beane, do you make a swing to trade up to #1 overall and get your Franchise QB?
2. What do you guys think it would take in terms of picks to swing it if we finish say 8-8?
3. Would you do it? We have the ammo, but do you build around TT with drafting OL, LB, and DL?
This is a tough one for me. I can’t believe I’m saying this but going into the season I was so anti Tyrod. I wrote him off after Carolina loss. But I think he’s improved this season and feel like he’s good enough to get maybe get us a ring.

I like this signing. Has to be better than big Mike.

I agree with you, that in the two losses to the Panthers and Bengals, the Bills were in it til the very end, and very well could've come away with W's. While I was pleased with the five victories, one thing that discouraged me was that we were having +3, +4 takeaways but still barely winning. But since we were winning I didn't complain.
But while last night's loss was only one loss, it's just the way that it went down. Again, this is a scenario that we Bills fans have been faced with SO many times during this 17 year drought that you'd have to have JUST recently become a fan of the team, or lived under a rock and been oblivious to the team's struggles.
Last night was by far the biggest game of the season to date for this team. Throw out the fact it was a division game. Throw out the fact it was a conference game. It was the biggest game of the season because, like many previous years, the Bills were overachieving, had a rookie or new head coach, had put together a winning record, and to me personally, were finally starting to get the attention AND respect of the national media. McDermott was being discussed as a potential coach of the year candidate, players were buying into his "Trust the Process" mantra, and with a win last night, our playoff chances would've shot up to 80%. And like too many seasons before, when the Bills had a chance to show everyone that they were for real, and that everyone's belief in them being different from Bills teams of the past was merited, what do they do? They come out flat, uninspired, undisciplined, and play the worst 60 minutes of football they have all year. And once again have everyone saying, "Same Old Bills ".
And you are correct, it was just one game. 5-3 is not a bad record, and I do believe McDermott has this team playing decent football, and am by no means throwing in the towel on this season. But yesterday's loss just fell into all too familiar territory, and has me not wanting to see any highlights on TV, and not wanting to hear any commentary or analysts opinions. I'm hoping McD can right the ship, and the Bills can bounce back and take care of a surging, red hot Saints team next Sunday at New Era....but Drew Brees will be the best quarterback this team has faced all season, and last night they made McCown look like an all-pro.
I wish I could say I'm still optimistic about the rest of the season, but the playoffs seem SO much further out of reach today than they did yesterday.
Fantastic post and my exact thoughts.
This one hurt just as bad as the Tommy Maddox 04’ loss at home.
-
I like it!
thanks
-
We got curbed stomped by a team we shouldve beat. No excuses. This game will be the reason we miss playoffs again.
-
Bottom line...its over.
Ive seen this crap wayyyyy too many years.
They fooled me one last time this season. I was all in. Buying the hype and not letting new faces be held accountable for all past failures.
Getting blown out, on NATIONAL TV, against the freakin New Jersey JETS, that says it all.
Vegas has us over or under 6 wins this season. I think we win tops 2 more and finish at the worst possible record a team could finish...7-9.
Literally the SOS. Drafting too high to get an elite player and not winning enough games to be a contender.
No. Mans. Land.

Shaq Lawson two sacks halfway through the season. He is who we thought he was. 6 sacks is the ceiling baby!!
I was thinking this last night.
Shaq Lawson isnt playing like a first round pick and hasnt ever played like one.
I fear Whaley missed again.
-
This just means we have to beat the Pats twice. Wouldn't shock me if we did. Flame away. I know, Brady is perfect. Screw that!
Irvin is an idiot.
Josh McCown just carved up this defense.
I repeat, Josh McCown.
Tom Brady will throw for 800.
-
We will finish 7-9 IMO.
This OL needs so much help and the defense is a fluke.

My approval rating of McDermott has crashed like GE stock the past week and a half.
If he sticks with Tyrod, he’ll be added to the list of HC’s who’ve failed here by sticking with a below average Qb.
