I know. All I’ve been able to think about this week is the bills on Sunday. It really has a playoff like aura to the build-up
My wife asked me why I've been so distant this week......

Major snubs for Oliver and Douglas. You could probably consider Josh a snub, kind of odd the guy who leads the league in total touchdowns isnt a pro bowler, but Lamar is the darling of the NFL right now. NFL needs to do away with the Pro Bowl and just do the All Pro List.

Tepper is probably coming to the conclusion that they not only drafted the wrong QB but also gave up a boatload of draft picks to do it.
No one to blame but himself. Should have stuck to trading stocks and let the NFL people trade draft picks. I have a very hard time believing Reich and the football people wanted a 5'10 190 pound quarterback over both Stroud and Richardson, but who knows, maybe I am wrong.

He has a significant shoulder injury, but I don’t want to say anything about this shoulder injury because I want to keep his shoulder injury a secret.
Was my same thought. Gotta keep the competitive advantage. They may know he's injured, that its a serious injury, what part of his body is injured, but they will never know what the medical words for the injury are!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hate to sound like Scrooge but outside of having off work, drinking more Labatts, and spending more money than usual, holidays don't feel much different to me.
The family I was born into is filled with emotionally immature narcissists and my wife's extended family are all vying to be left money in certain peoples wills.
I am always happy to get back to concentrating on my wife and kids. I like work, it keeps me from being bored.

Only if their injured starting QB played...which wasn't going to happen. And you can't predict opt outs and portal transfers . They are ruining bowl season.
Bowl Season was destined to be ruined. A bunch of games that mean literally nothing for the players, all so the school can make a few extra bucks from an odd array of sponsors. Until the playoff is expanded this is what you're going to get.

I believe the OP left off the W-L percentage under each Off Coord.
I didnt. But I also hinted at why I think Brady's approach is working, and it not being sustainable. Josh is averaging 4 less pass attempts a game since Brady took over. I honestly don't know if that's considered negligible, or if there has been a real effort to try and make this a more ball control offense. McDermott has banged the complimentary football drum hard this season. My worry is when its time for the QB to take over the game, they just wont have it.
-
After watching the offense slog along yesterday I wanted to go back and look at the statistics over the last six weeks to see how much of a difference Brady has been. Looking over the stats, it seems like a bit of a push in terms of offensive success. What Brady has done better is exactly what McDermott kept harping on "complimentary football." Brady has taken the air out of the offense and replaced it with ground success, and in doing so, cut down on the turnovers.
Can the Bills keep it up at this pace? Can they rely on the defense to keep playing out of their minds and hope a successful running game can move them forward? Personally, I think the Bills are playing on a razors edge and will end up bit. The Bills really need to consider looking outside of the organization at guys like Eric Bienemy, and Kellen Moore in the offseason to attempt and fix the passing game.

I think that's a bit deceiving.
Yes, rushing stats are up. Cook's touches are up as a result. But one of the reasons for the slide in pass stats to a boost in rush stats is also because under Brady, Josh has been used as a rusher far more.
So, yes rushing stats are up but Allen's rushes are as well and the ball is still in his hands.
I agree there. Its been good to see Josh run more, but you'd think that threat would open up the pass more. Watching the games, and then looking at the stats, its obvious something is off with the passing offense. My worry is you'll need that threat to win in Miami, and the playoffs, if they make it in.

You forgot "Ralph is cheap" but other than that you did great.
My opinion of him hasn't changed. Nor has the likelihood that he will be the head coach of the Buffalo Bills next season. Even if we lose and miss the playoffs. That's because Terry Pegula's opinion of him likely won't change.
Right now the biggest question I have (aside from the potential playoff run) is what he does at OC and DC. That's really the storyline heading to next season IMO.
He desperately needs to find someone to get the Quarterback on track. Josh still makes plays no one else on the league can make, but this is the third year in a row his passing yards and tds have decreased. Maybe that's due to the Wideouts not getting separation but they have to figure it out.
I took a look at the offensive stats since Brady took over and Josh has been less productive under Brady. It seems like there has been an effort to take the ball out of his hands. Rushing stats are up and turnovers are down the last 6 weeks. Rather than trust your superstar QB to win games they are trying to run and play defense.

McDermott can't do anything right. Allen can't do anything wrong. Am I doing it right?

Josh’s mechanics have regressed this year. His footwork sucks, he throws off his back foot all the time, he’s not seeing the field and his accuracy blows.
I love him. Ride or die. He’s also the reason we’ve won 10 games.
It doesn’t help that his o-line is letting free rushers regularly, his receivers don’t separate, when they do they drop the ball, his #1 has been MIA for 5 weeks, and most importantly his OC had 2 good games and now can’t pull a game plan out of his ass.
I have no idea what the plan is going forward. Become a run first team with Cook/Josh and play the short game? Go 5 wide and let Josh loose and start chucking it all over?
Still think we crush Miami
Couldnt have said it better. Throws off back foot. Uses all arm to throw the ball instead of letting his hips help. Doesnt reset outside the pocket. He is all over the place. He has also been incredibly indecisive. Really need him to get it together next week.

His deep ball accuracy is nothing new. Can throw it 80 yards but can't hit a wideout in stride at 40 or 50 to save his life.
