  1. Did not seem like JA ever had time in the pocket. Sacked 5x and had to scramble a bunch of others

On our 3rd down in OT, Diggs was open but JA could not make an accurate throw because Q Williams was barreling unimpeded towards him

We get the 1st down , there is no Punt return

On most of the runs, there was nowhere to run

It does not seem like any of our OL additions really made a difference

Every team in the league will play Josh Allen this way. He needs a STUD RB to help him. He's not patient enough to stay with the short stuff

There was nowhere for Cook to run - those delayed draws right into a clogged line of scrimmage were ridiculous. The one time they had a pitch out he got outside and  had a nice gain

I'm sure regardless of the outcome, it will change the narrative. But it shouldn't. One game, especially early on, doesn't make a season.

Good teams have lost early games or openers and gone on to win it all. And not-so-good teams have won those games and not followed through with good seasons.

Great example is when be beat the Pats 31 to 0 to start the season and they won the SB

Just to put this deal into perspective - The total amount of Burrow’s 5 year deal is less than an NFL owner makes in a single season. The Bengals owner spent $89 million in 2022 in operating expenses and made $462 million. So just shy of $375 million in profit. In a single year.

In the NFL there is a salary cap ceiling and floor (every team has to spend to at least 89% of the cap in a 4yr period). Every team decides how to spend that allotted money. Even teams without a big QB contract on their books are spending a similar amount of total money on players.

Not sure the accuracy of this source, but

Bengals total revenue in 2022 rose 9% to $501 million last year, according to Sportico. That still ranks last in the NFL.

But the team's operating profit jumped to $137 million ranking 11th.

I’m old enough to remember when that was considered QB type money

That amount is more than the entire team salary cap of 1994

  6. It is insane that Stubhub and TM charge fees to BOTH buyer and seller

With TM you used to be able to select a few sections and then see all the tix available.

Now you have to select each little dot on a seat to see the prices - so hard to find seats

No Idea why Websites REMOVE functionality. I really believe that the website developers never actually USE their sites to see how it works for real people

As a side note: I have 8 seats for all Games that I usually sell - Sec 111 Row 7 and Row 14 so DM me if interested. Tix are $$$ but no fees

The issue with the Bengals is they have 4 players that are going to get paid and have 60m in cap space next year.  I would expect the AAV around $15m for their average between all of them (and that's low ball).  They can't keep all of them.

They have too many players that are worth much more on rookie contracts.

Burrow alone will be over $50 mil per year

  8. For future reference, ESPY tickets are available for general purchase thought ticket outlets for about $75

It is not like the Oscars where you have to be someone or know someone to get in

I have gone a number of times and there are a ton of players milling about before and after that you can meet
