1. Too bad we traded up for Sammy instead of Mike Evans
2. What were the Titans thinking in trading away AJ Brown - what a steal for the Eagles
3. It does not seem to make sense to include the receiver's body of work over the past few years .It should only take into account recent production
4. I imagine that once you get the past top 15 or 20, there are a whole slew of players that really could be placed in that category

When i read the topic, I thought it was how Jim Nantz predicted the schedule BEFORE it was released!

I don't like that there are only 3 home games between October 5th and December 7th.
Schedule should have been more balanced between home and away as in that stretch 7 out of 10 games are away

It doesn't matter how many picks they own, it's how much value they have. You can pack up everything after 132 and hardly improve the 1st or 2nd round picks. I'd keep those later picks as an incentive to individual scouts to go to bat for a guy they're sold on as being slept on, as often happens in these drafts. Beane isn't omniscient on every prospect but the guys who went to the pro days and interviewed and sifted through the game tapes, they may have an insight, which is what you're paying them for. It's kinda what we're doing on the internet too, trying to find that haystack needle.
... and Beane generally does very well with the later round picks - often times better than the 1st and 2nd rounders (e.g. Elam and Benford)

Two fourths is nothing these days.
Wouldn't two fourths equal one half?

Never been a fan of McDaniel - but after just reading this article which highlights the adversity he overcame and his persistence, hard not to respect him

To me, seems like his time has passed.
I would want to select a coach that if he is good, will be around a long time.

We allowed 427 yards , did not force a punt, and let them drive the length of the field in last 2 minutes for potential tie
Not sure that qualifies as "defense stepping up"

MY personal opinion.. The dude was just at the podium.. and it was "WE" need to do this better "WE" cant be turning the ball over..
If That Was JA it would of been him taking accountability saying "I cant turn the ball over" "I did things I could of done differently"
Lamar.. WE WE WE WE...
JA I I I I
Lamar has no accountability. Horrible look for Lamar.. the playoff choak artist.. ..
To give him the benefit of a doubt, it could be that (in a positive sense) it is always "WE" - as in "we the team" whether win or lose

Lucky for us, the Ravens went away from Henry and relied on Lamar's arm.
Lamar's Arm was was pretty good in the 2nd half!

Absolutely. Chiefs are not a juggernaut, and we are much healthier on defense
Without the rash of injuries, we win last year

Bills seem to be much improved w healthy milano

Certainly not a long term big $$$ contract
As someone else posted, it could be injuries

My complaint was that we seemed to run on every 1st down and we'll were too predictable. And most of those runs were not that successful which put us in a lot of 2nd and longs

SOFI is pretty far from the fires and the game is in over 5 days so I don't think there would be an issue.

Book whatever you can now as long as refundable
For airlines, try and use freq flyer miles or if using $ at least buy on an airline you fly frequently so can re-use the dollars for another flight
Hotels are really expensive for Sat and Sun night - $750+ even for dumps if there is even any availability. After each round of playoff games, check the hotels as fans of losing teams who had tentative hotel reservations will be cancelling them
I am a season ticket holder so hoping to get from lottery but even then not sure would go
a) face value is a few grand
b) the opportunity cost of not selling them
c) all of the other travel time and expenses
On the other hand... the chance to see a super bowl win ...

He got $3mm for the catch.
Really surprised they threw a real pass and not just a shovel pass
But can you imagine the outcry if Baker threw a pick 6 and they ended up missing the playoffs because of it

who cares - it is totally meaningless. I will go w Bass - we can't score TD's but he kicks a lot of FG's

Von's career earnings are $187 Million, so what's $1.5MM among friends.
Pegula's net worth is $7 to $8 Billion so even more of a drop in the bucket
Would this affect salary cap going forward?

I would be happier if Coach had said "When he came back, it looked like he was a lot faster"
