My point was can we not act like we asked Josh to go thru child birth because we needed a TD late in a game in the postseason? It’s basically mandatory if you want to win it.

But only mandatory for him, not the other 10 guys on the field.

The play was there, the WR was open, the blocking did not hold up.

After that I think Allen knew ahead of time on third down if he didn’t move the chains McD was kicking a FG. Is what it is. More then just Allen gotta make a play

I never said it was Allen’s fault. I said asking Allen to close out a final drive is not anything that hasn’t been asked by Mahomes, Brady, and every other Super Bowl champion in NFL history. People are acting as if we put some

unmanageable burden on Josh in this game. Not at all the case. The poor defensive performance increased that burden but he still nearly got it done with 200 yards passing and most that damage behind the line of scrimmage.

Brady and Mahomes get help from their teammates to make plays. Look at the catch by MVS. Look at the easy TD to Kelce…. Ask Dawkins why he couldn’t hold his ***** block longer? There is your answer why Allen didn’t deliver on the final drive.

My thing is , we came out on fire on O, 2 possessions,  10 points, Allen looked phenomenal

    Rest of game 14 points

Them 1st 2 drives were awesome

Stalled drives by WRs not catching the ball. Plain and simple. They adjusted to stop our run and Bills continued to try to pound it making moving the chains harder

Philly D got shredded in the SB.

Name a dominate defense this year.

You think KCs defense won them the game?

Sure defense is important. You really can't win it all on offense alone. That's just not sustainable. So defense has to be emphasized too. However, this is a QB driven league with show casing offensive talent.

Defenses can no longer bump and run WRs, can't hit the QB, QBs can avoid sacks by throwing the ball away, and you can't hit a WR going up to make a catch. There is no way a defense can be elite under these conditions.

Today's modern day defenses are no longer elite. They are mostly bend but don't break. Have very good red zone efficiency and produce turnovers.

The days of the Bears elite D, Ravens, Pitt, etc... are long gone. You will never see defenses totally taking over a game and winning it all.

    Football has changed.

I think our D lost the game. Got nothing to do with KCs D, it’s on our D and our defensive minded coach that keeps letting them down in playoffs.

Asking Allen to finish off that last drive would be basically par for the course with what is required to be a Super Bowl winning team. He had under 200 yards and was asked to deliver an efficient game plan which he did. I don’t see what we asked or expected out of Josh in this one that was unreasonable. Perhaps another 30 spot which is basically the status quo for this teams last game of the year.

So it’s Allen’s fault Dawkins got pushed into him well delivering what would have been a go ahead pass. Right🙄

Watch the game for over again, Allen played exactly  how people on this board have  been ranting about all year long. He took everything they gave, he ran when needed and he was on target when he took his chances down field. 11 guys on the field, more then just Allen gotta do their ***** job.

If the WRs did the job earlier that drive ain’t even talked about.  We had 3 40 yard passes hit our WRs in the second half and not one made a catch.

The problem is Allen has to be Superman, play out of his mind, AND make every read and every throw, plus run the ball, and not miss guys or turn it over.

Even then, it might not be good enough.

Tonight he got hit while throwing and missed Shakir at the end. So he wasn't absolutely perfect. Even if he was, it might not have been enough.

Tonight he dropped a 50+ yard moonball right into Diggs hands and he drops it.

It really is at the point in order for the the Bills to win a Championship Allen has to be beyond perfect which is impossible

Shouldn’t that be a knock on the defence? I mean we all watched the games it ain’t the O that is letting this team down in the playoffs it’s the defense

McD’s defense was ravaged with injuries so i’m not going to bash him too much there.

    That fake punt though…

Love the aggressiveness, but I would have rather had Allen on the field running a 4th down offense.

McDs D gets all the resources and always falls on its face in the playoffs. Injuries happen but tonight’s D never even looked competitive. One stop, one lucky bounce that went their way. Total ***** letdown.

Midway through the season when the whole team looked to be a disaster where’d the resources go at trade deadline? Douglas and Joseph. We could have used a WR that could catch the ***** ball as well. We know this because it was a major concern heading into last offseason and they decided to do patch work with Sherfield and Harty.

I love Josh to death but why would he pass up a wide open Stef underneath, a possible first down to drain more clock to instead try and score a TD leaving 1:50 on the clock against a player that beat the Bills with only 13 seconds left?  The goal was very simple here.   It’s to score a TD with almost no time left especially when only a field goal is all the Bills need to extend the game so it wasn’t like the Bills needed a TD on that down.  I know he doesn’t have a coach that will hold him accountable like Dabol would but we are on year six here where he should already know the situation.  I love Josh we owe all these playoff years to him but I’m so dissapointed that he wouldn’t be able to dissect that situation for what it was.  I can’t put that one on Sean as much as I have wanted him gone for a few years😭😭

So he goes underneath and throws an inaccurate pass to Diggs because Jones pushed Dawkins into Allen. The results are the same aren’t they?  Turns into 3rd and 9.

You don’t pass up a TD when it’s there when you are playing from behind. He had it, protection never held up

Cant say you’re wrong, but also we were under two mins left and Josh had the easy crossing route to diggs wide open for the first and to run the clock and instead tried to get aggressive with an endzone pass. The game was right there for the taking.

Even if he took the crossing route there is no guarantee it’s accurate with Dawkins getting pushed into him. Both shots were there and with a clean pocket that’s a TD.

I agree about the WRs but even a quality group of receivers needs a good offensive play book to part of. Watching the last two weeks of playoffs showed me over and over again how unsophisticated our offense was this season compared to other teams. Even with Brady running it and making better decisions than the useless Dorsey we were hamstrung by the limited playbook. Yes Josh missed guys tonight but on many plays we were not scheming guys open and there was no deception to our game plan all season like in the Dabol years. The 4th down? play to Shakir where he faked left then right in the backfield and was wide open for the first down was so rare this year. Brady did well with a terrible offense he inherited but imagine our current offense with a great coordinator and a sophisticated play book!

Watching playoffs the past couple weeks there have been so many big gains where guys are wide ***** open, just never see it with this team

Thank you, that 3rd down was so poorly played. It’s clear that Bass is useless so you have to try anything to get the touchdown there. Was way too much time on the clock for the Bass field goal attempt, KC and Butker would have beat us regardless.

Totally agree. I told my wife before the drive started if they had to settle for a FG Bass was gonna miss it. Didn’t matter how far out it was. I figure that would be a McD decision, Romo was commenting on just how much confidence McD had in Bass if the game was on the line…. Womp womp womp
