  1. Lol they always say they understand the business end of the league….

Well…. This is exactly nothing but business. It’s like booking a room. You know to go watch the game, you know with the tickets to the game.

If plans change, I’m not charged !!!!

This isn’t even a thing. It’s drama the media has stirred up for idiots to feed off of!!!!

Last week Beasley came out of nowhere to have a really solid game, making some big catches and scoring a TD. Who is your unusual suspect that comes out of the shadows to make an impact on Sunday? I'm gonna pull one out of the hat and say Reggie Gilliam has himself a game this week. I'm guessing 3 catches for around 30 yards with a TD, also opening up some nice lanes for Cook and Motor.

Been saying the last 4-5 weeks…. Why doesn’t Gilliam get a couple targets each game???

    Ed Oliver: 6'1" 287

    Aaron Donald: 6'1 285

    I'll take tiny.

Exactly and compare their combine results. 3 cone, 40 etc…. Ed needs to get the edge every now and then, just his strength could help collapse the pocket. Especially with a OG playing OT this week

    Please no.

First, Ed is actually quite small for a DT.  In fact, during one of DaQuan Jones' first observation on becoming a Bill he expressed he was surprised how small Ed was.  Not sure why anyone would put "Big" as a descriptor for Ed?  Explosive, sure.  Big, nope.

Second, he does not have the frame or length to do anything of impact from the Edge.  He actually does better bull rushing against a double team because he is fast and small so he can split the two OL.  If he bull rushed 1 : 1 he would get planted on his back all day.  This is Physics 101.

Ed is likely about 25 pounds lighter than the average DT and about 3 inches shorter than the typical Edge along with his arm length being below average.

Again, I want Ed to do well but we need to set realistic expectations.

You realize he had a few snaps from the edge last year and actually got a sack…

Also that Rousseau has rushed from the DT position. I think matching up Ed’s strength and quickness can help collapse the pocket. It’s not always about getting around the edge.

  5. Every now and then you have to reach into your bag of tricks….

Daboll took the entire bag and obviously left Dorsey with nothing.  I really don’t mind his play calling.

other than I can call every run play and there has been nearly zero if not zero times I have said, “what a play design”,

Its line up and run the play.

  6. I don’t hate Dorsey but I’d like to see some creativity.

For example from this past weekend….

Saw the Jags use T Heavy in the backfield in the run game. Also the Cowboys last night used like a reverse wishbone with an OL in the backfield and threw off it. Basically “hey we are going to run”, nope, extra solid blockers in the backfield.

    btw both plays were successful

  7. I understand it’s playoffs and the Refs let them play more somewhat….

But watch the last play by Miami, Elam breaks up the pass. But as Thompson steps out of the pocket watch how Miami’s RG just shoves Rousseau in the back straight to the ground. Rousseau May have been able to disrupt that pass, or if he doesn’t throw Rousseau could have had a sack.

Nope he was shoved straight to his face from behind right in front of the QB.

    Glad Elam broke that up

  8. I don’t think it’s so much style points vs being less predictable…..

im pretty sure I called 90% of our run plays yesterday. Meaning you know 90% of the time when the Bills are throwing as well.

I hate the fact we can’t find ways to get Cook the ball in space, Bills have never been able to execute RB screens.

On top of that, schematically in certain situations some of the play calls just don’t make since.

Dont really think it’s “style” points…..

How about the corner back committed pass interference that wasn't called.

And no it's not Beasley's fault he's small that would be the fault of Bills management who have been unable to put bigger WR's on the field.  You know guys like Hodgins whose lighting it up for the Giants.

My god… nobody on the bills staff is worried about what happened on that play. If the ball goes straight to the ground great. But it didn’t. The timing was fine. If there was someone wide open earlier in JAs progression then fine. JA needs to make a better read, but the play on Beasley could have happened to Hodgins as well. Let’s agree to disagree

Are you familiar with the following concepts: RB screen, TE screen, bubble screen, draw, delayed draw, quick slant, quick out, go and stop, etc.  I'm no OC, but it seems to me that there are experts in the NFL that believe these are effective concepts against cover zero. Thanks for your attention.  Now...back to calling your seven step drop duo go routes.....

    How about a trick play?!

Not that it’s a trick play… but I’d like to see them run an actual option . Why not

I just want to see the slightest bit of creativity!!!!
