  1. Question is.... so why if the Bills move 40 mins easy they change name...

I get it, thanks, it's all speculation and someone spewing garbage who knows nothing. But how would fans feel if the moved a tad bit and changed City name. Being San Fran is no where near San Fran and New York played in Jersey and were still called New York.

I'm just saying IF... IF... Buffalo went to Batavia they should still be called Buffalo was my point.

But... I hope they get a Downtown or near Downtown stadium.

  2. You understand that's just someone throwing an idea out there and not actually legitimate talks of anything right?

It mentioned the idea has been thrown out there already. To whom who knows...

Just starting conversation, I do understand it's all shots in the wind...

  3. Can I get a hell yeah?? Or maybe even a link?

New home of the Batavia Bills: Im not exactly saying anything groundbreaking here since the idea has been tossed around, but Batavia (Yes, this Batavia) wouldnt be the worst place for a new Bills home, even though owner Terry Pegula recent said he hasnt thought about a new stadium. Its closer to Rochester and Syracuse and theres plenty of land to operate on. Additionally, it would have an advantage of easy thruway access, as opposed to a downtown Buffalo stadium. Without some infrastructure work, it would be difficult to imagine getting in and out of the city on Sunday

A plus is bigger parking lots for bigger tailgating party's

  4. Talks of new stadium in Batavia...?

I have no clue where this is but they are saying it's closer to Rochester/Syracuse.

If that were to happen, why couldn't they keep Buffalo?

San Francison 49ers now play in Santa Clara which is about an hour south of San Fran, and yet they didn't change their name.

If this were to happen I would hate for them to be called the Batavia Bills. They should find some way to keep a portion of the team facility near Buffalo and play in The Rochester area, at worst.

    Bills should stay in Buffalo!!!!

  5. WR unit is just as thin as the LB and DB units, so not sure what your point is.

This! Again we are in the position this team is loaded with 3s and 4s. Sammy is not guaranteed to stay healthy with his foot injury which has proven to hurt players for years.

So Sammy gets hurt we are stuck with a bunch of 3s or a rookie #2 from rd 2? No thanks.

    I wouldn't mind a 1b WR taken at 10.

But I prefer trade down and take Reddick

Draft is loaded with CBs, some which would have been taken end of rd 1 will be available mid to late rd 2.

LBer is thin in the draft. I say Reddick, Then CB Then WR.

  6. There is a pinned thread about this topic above but I do see them drafting Harston CB Temple late they been talking to him a lot this offseason.

You don't see pinned topics on the mobile version. I had hit "the stadium" to see it... thanks

Or I guess I just follow the main page topics

From Walter Football. It's obvious the Bills have been more "under cover" if you would. Not showing there hand.

But I did look through a few of the prospects and a few are late round possibilities.

Youtube'd a few guys, like the Tape on OT Brad Seaton (meet 2 times with Bills, 1 being a private workout) and TE Antony Auclair (solid blocker and show some natural Athleticism, 6th rd?).

They also show Cam Robinson in for an official 30 visit.

  8. Not to take cheap shots....but:

    1) these owners were not in place 10 years ago

    2) Ralph may have lined his pockets and cut corners, only to give most of it back. You can see that as you like, but it's not cheap and evil.

    3) I actually like that there has been little for us to hear about their plans, that is as it should be at this point.

    4) I'm pretty sure the multi-billionaire owners have given this some thought and are not just stumbling blindly down the road. It will all evolve on their time schedule. They have about 6 years on the lease? What's the rush? In the meantime, acquire properties downtown and quietly execute the plan.

Just saying there could have been a plan in place many years ago that could have been passed down.

You have to start somewhere. This is a small market which means it won't come easy, or if ever. Which means Buffalo could lose its team. That being the case. $10-15 on average a ticket plus finding othe means of savings and fundraising, taxes etc over a 10-15 years ago we wouldn't be talking about the burden and how hard it would be on the city.

It's what Blue collar people do, think 5 steps ahead and plan.

My dad was a huge fan of Oakland back in the 70s then they moved. He said it was never the same. Now look they're off again. They've had 2 times to get it right, but "couldn't find the funds". I just think it's lack of planning and desire

  9. They've been talking about a new stadium for over 10 years now.

They could have raised ticket prices $5-20 each depending on where the seats are way back then. Plus find ways to take percentages from here or there or whatever and start building a pot vs lining pockets with millions of dollars each year.

The city could have started a stadium tax so minimal you wouldn't notice.

But it sound to me there has been zero planning or effort to gain a new stadium. If this team would have done that I bet they could have in more than half way paid off. Paid for....

  10. This would be our 3 down backer!

Man, no shot he'd be there round 2 tho :(

He will go Top 20 no doubt, possibly top 15. We may take him at 10.

Would love to trade down like 3-4 spots and grab him or Best WR available (which may be both Williams and Davis)

  11. I think he's the best LBer in the draft, plus if McD can get his hands on him there's no doubt he can be great.

Seems like he fits the Bill. McD type, Versitile, allows possible trade down(if possible), gain CB which is a deep pool this year plus get Adarius Stewart. Stewart is another stud. I gurauntee if AJ McCarron was Alabamas QB this year, Stewart would be a possible first rounder, but it just so happens Stewart had a Freshmen throwing him the ball, which was like the 90th ranked passing attack in the country

  12. Folks are asking to resign Zach Brown... I don't think it's gonna happen.

There has been talk of trading down, here's your guy. Haason Reddick was a stud at the Senior Bowl and continued to show his athleticism at the combine.

Roughly 6'1 235 who was originally a Defensive back walk on at Temple, dudes a freak! Reminds me of someone Coach McD loves. THOMAS DAVIS, a former Safety at Georgia.

Seems as if McD wants versatility. Reddick can play all over the field if you ask me plus can rush the passer.

There is talk of him going before Foster, so do you trade down? If Bills trade down, gain another 2nd round pick, that will allow CB AND SS/WR/OT in the 2nd.

Imagine Haason Reddick, CB (?) and Ardarius Stewart/Chris Godwin being Bills top 3 picks in first 2 rounds.

The more I watch Reddick the more I think we should trade down for him. Or Corey Davis/ Mike Williams if gone.
