Ralph owned the team during the championship 60's, the loser 70's, the up, down, up 80's, the glory year 90's, and most of the drought.

Now Ralph's been gone for more than 7 years.

    Stop blaming Ralph for things.

Don't forget the stadium situation. I blame him for a lot, but I've let it go. This is a new team with a new owner, thank God.

This really sucks. Does anyone have an update? We need him for Jonathan Taylor.

They would have to absolutely implode for that to happen. As long as we have our core guys we're good.

We don't have to implode, we just have to lose one or two more games than the eleven teams in contention for seven spots. Patriots are in our rearview mirror and if we lose Sunday we are no longer in sole control of our destiny.

Time to get tough and I'd like to see us as close to full strength as possible for the upcoming stretch.

It’s a highly overrated roster. Having a good QB causes people to just fixate on that position and nothing else.

It's only when I recently accepted that we probably aren't going to deliver on expectations this year that I finally was able to let go of said expectations.

Now if we go on a tear then I'm back on the hype train, but for now it's parked back at the station.

I can't argue with this.  It's a pretty good way took at it.

Year after year, it becomes more obvious that McDermott's teams are not ready to be great in October.   They're still building.    Even some of the early wins by big scores didn't feel like blowout wins.    I don't remember drive by drive of the playoff game when the Bills beat the Raiders 51-3, or whatever.  That was a blowout.  Bills were in control every series on offense and on defense.   Except maybe for the Texans game, none of the Bills' games so far this year have felt like that kind of blowout.   The team has looked incomplete.

I don't say that at all as a criticism.   It's a statement about how McDermott builds his teams.   They're never as good in October as they are in December.   Every September and October, it's frustrating for the fans, but I try to remind myself that McDermott has a plan.  Losing isn't part of the plan, but he will not sacrifice his team's growth just to win a game.

And, by the way, it was a GREAT football game to watch.

Frankly, I guess I would have liked to see Josh in the shotgun with the line blocking straight ahead.   Josh takes a quick look to see if he has a gimme pass to one of his receivers.  If not, then from five yards back, pick a spot, run to it, and dive over the pile.

I'm no offensive coordinator, but we all know the sneak was a bad decision.   Still, I'd rather Josh learn that lesson in week 6 than in the playoffs.

Thank you for putting how I've felt, but been unable to explain, on paper. Our wins just haven't sat right with me and it's because the lopsided scores did not properly reflect the on-field performance. Perhaps I just need to get used to this and ride the ups with the downs until we see what kind of team we are heading into playoffs. If this is just how our team operates, I'll accept that.

The week 13 game against Bucs should be a fantastic test to see how things are shaping up.

I would have kicked the FG and taken my chances in OT. But since they went for it I would have had Allen roll out with the option to pass or run. TEN knew what was coming and I just don't trust the OL to get a good push for Allen to make a play.

I have no idea why my post copied itself three times, but I edited it. Sorry about that.

It's one of those plays where most of the time you get those inches. I personally trust that better than our chances in overtime. But I also wouldn't mind the play you described.

I don't think their is one particular moment when this game was lost. It was a combination of things.

Defense...couldn't get a big stop as the Titans scored on every drive in the 2nd half.

Offense....poor night in the red zone. Settling for FG's instead of getting TD's

    Penalties....wiped out TD's

Agreed on all counts. Very frustrating game to watch. We made that offense look better than it is. On top of that the pace was all over the place and watching two touchdown plays get flagged was infuriating, as was the lack of red zone production, as was our inability to gain a few inches on the final 4th down. Right call though. It reminds me of when Bruce Arians did it in Arizona, and he was quoted afterwards saying "I play to win". Hell yeah.

I'm looking forward to the Tampa Bay game to see how well we'll match up against another playoff team after we've had some time to work on things.

I'm usually over optimistic but this is the NFL. I mean 4.5 weeks ago we lost an Ugly game to Pit.

We look phenomenal and I've said this looks like a potentially all time great team but I can totally see this being a bit ugly and sometimes you gotta win that way.

One of the tougher opponents we'll face this year so I don't expect this to be pretty, but I'm mentally prepared now for an ugly win or three throughout the remainder of the season.

Derrick Henry is the Titans best offensive player. The Bills have done pretty good against him the past three games. If I’m not mistaken, his greatest rushing yardage in that three game span is something like 80 yards.

It’s key that they continue to limit him in this game as well. So, I’m going with Star.

    Who ya got?

I think we'll be able to score just fine, so I agree with Dline. Would love to see Rousseau continue to be all over the QB.

South Park and Louisiana. Perry Projects property IIRC. Right where you'd think. Paladino is pushing some buttons to make sure his First Ward properties pay off. Dunkirk Don is right about one thing. Follow the money.

Plenty of teams have training facilities away from the stadium. Washington comes to mind. Their facility is in Ashburn VA, the stadium is on the other side of town in Landover, MD.

Dunkirk Don? I don't get it but I'm curious because that's where I grew up.

Can’t single anyone out, it’s the pass rush. If they don’t get pressure, the Bills don’t win.

I was thinking someone on D line, or a WR. Gotta get to Mahomes but we also need to outscore them, and also I think Diggs & Co. want revenge.

He was the last to leave the field in the playoff loss, and I feel like in his mind he continued to stand on that field all off-season. There's no way he's forgotten the sting of that game.

Well 1st of Aaron is NOT there for AJ Hawk though it doesn't hurt.

2nd both players are out of the league

3rd Like I said its not like Aaron is going on some type of low budget podcast by going on Pat podcast

4th and most importantly. You so caught up that I used Aaron Rodgers name but the man point I was making was Josh Allen is STAR QB in the league now and you can replace Aaron Rodgers with almost  ANY any other star QB who has the perception of having of having a large ego and bigger than his teammates and I would feel the same. Its not common to give that kinda of time and for Josh to do that shows what kinda of guy he his.

I'm not saying no one else would do that but there are lesser QBs who would have said naw I'm good bro.

Since you are all in your Aaron Rodgers feelings show me 1 interview that Aaron has done in career with a current teammate at the time let alone in season. 'll wait.

BTW I could see  Aaron Rodgers would do it for former teammate ( Think Kumerow ). Maybe that would make you feel better.

I don't have to show anything. You're the one that made the terrible comparison. You tried to build up Josh Allen by putting Aaron Rodgers down when Aaron is doing almost the exact same thing every single week.

You should have just praised Josh Allen and left it at that.

Whether Rodgers is a bad guy or not, and whether that matters from a winning standpoint, or not, we don't have to compare him to Josh to feel good about him.  Josh is an amazing person and player in his own right.  We're so lucky to have him.

OP should have said those last two sentences and left it at that. My, how quickly "humble and hungry" has gone out the window. I think I would actually be embarrassed if one of my friends who like other teams saw this post.

Not only is this a clear attack on a future Hall of Famer for no reason, but OP doesn't even seem to understand that Rodgers is sitting down with AJ Hawk (his former teammate) and Pat McAfee for half an hour every single week to be interviewed.

Who in the NFL hierarchy does he have pics of?  There's no other way to explain the ridiculous amount of "2nd chances" he's gotten.

My guess is, right or wrong, the league doesn't want to be known for ending someone's career because they smoked pot. As you know many states have legalized it as medicine. It's only a matter of time until it's legal in all sports and all walks of life nationwide.
