Godspeed to everyone going to the game. Hoping this is the loudest game of the season at Orchard Park. I know our players hope that as well.

The metal seats help. You can make some hellacious noise banging and stomping on those seats.
Agreed. Looking forward to seeing what the new stadium brings. Seating looks steeper, and I think the large awnings above will trap in the nose, Seattle style.

Bank of America now has what they call a ‘travel credit card’ just for this purpose. No annual fee but for some reason they encourage it over your normal VISA card. None of this stuff makes much sense but what the heck.
Not sure about BoA, but perhaps the travel card may not have foreign transaction fees, while your normal Visa might. Many cards do.

Thank you for some positivity. This board could use it right now.
Don't take the negative responses personally.

If we start off with some dominant wins (Jets, Jags, Dolphins), the excitement will crank up to 11.
If we don't, I might start avoiding these boards for a while...

Right. But what if Josh is only hurt for a game or two? Gotta have a guy you can bank on to hold the fort and I don’t think we have that guy at the momemt.
And yet, what if a better O line is the reason Josh doesn't miss two games? Chicken or egg, I suppose.

They don't lack "leadership".. they simply and truly lack toughness! This is not a tough team. We don't have that "guy" that can wreck an O line like a Watt or Bosa. Even Miami has a "guy" on their D line that wrecks us every game.
Also - Our O is very wimpy.
There it is. Buffalo lacks killers.

13 seconds (with no explanation ever given to the players), plus all of the catastrophe from last year, the offseason drama this year, and being continually told to just "trust the process" ... has worn very thin on a lot of the core players. Like constantly being 10 months pregnant with a coaching staff that doesn't know how to deliver babies lol (in my "mentally off" opinion lol). They don't trust trusting anymore because it's like an ongoing empty promise, but everyone wants to win so bad that it gets twisted because they know they're close
I agree with this. I think the infamous 13 Seconds, the Buffalo shooting, the heartbreaking Miami loss with 11 starters down and the rest slowly dying of dehydration, Von going down in December, >30 dead in a Buffalo blizzard, playing a home game in Detroit, the Hamlin disaster/game nullification, and Diggs causing drama at select moments and press putting cameras in their faces asking them to explain each of these situations, has absolutely gotten in heads. It's not one thing, it's the body of work.
The team needs a relatively normal season to put this crap as far behind them as possible, mentally reset, and remember how good they are. And for God's sake the key players need to survive until the playoffs.

It's my family's hometown team. Went to training camps with my grandmother as a kid, so in a way it helps keep me connected with WNY. Plus we've got a unique fan base, and up until recently people around here respected my loyalty to a crap small market team.
And I'll be damned if I'm going to wait all these years for a SB and give up now.

I just did it. 14-3. It has a road loss to Washington (LOL) and then 11 straight wins before losing two out of the last three, at San Diego and at Miami.
That actually sounds like our season right there. Trap game, some domination, and stumbling toward the end.

The price gouging that is widespread now is unbelievable
Quite frustrating. These prices are never going down. The hope now is that eventually they stop rising so sharply.

So we’re basically backed into a corner and expected to cut this guy, a potentially great draft pick, over something that wasn’t even true in the end. Pisses me off actually.
This is me. The entire organization, including the Pegula family, would have taken too much heat to protect him even though I'm pretty sure charges were never filed.
I feel robbed as a casual fan, so I can't even begin to imagine how robbed he feels.

If he ain’t back for this he’s gone.
I agree that he's gone, and I've already accepted the increasing likelihood that something bad happened.

116k posts. Last seen 1 day before his/her 10 year mark of joining here.
Either…
- Someone pissed him off in a PM
- 11k posts a year. Burned out? Wouldn’t be the first “active” member to disappear.
- No longer with us.
PS To put it in perspective, I have been here over 20 years, and only have 11k posts total.
I said it before but he's all about giving people heads up on things, so to me it doesn't look good that he didn't give the community a heads up.
Hoping it's just a case of needing to go cold turkey for a bit.

His last post was during the Bills loss to Cincy. Maybe he just became fed up with the Bills play and decided to stop posting for a while.
Just a bit surprising that he didn't say that. Seems like the kind of guy that would give us a heads up.

Bittersweet moment. As a Duke Dog I can never root for W&M, so I'll just root for him as an individual.
Go Dukes, Go Bills, and Go McD!

Let the OBJ rumors fly. We shouldn't keep people from having fun thinking about it.

Nothing like a loss going into playoffs to lift everyone's spirits and build momentum.
Play to win, and play hard. Do not mess with the mojo.

This moment could serve as a rallying cry come playoffs. Emphasis on could.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends?

It is ridiculously that there is no policy in place for this situation with how violent football is.
We humans are quite unwise. But there sure will be a policy from now on.
