Kubiak saying he wants to be an OC.

What?
You're nuts. Flutie got way worse, as did Losman.
Flutie was revered here. He still is. He had a cereal. Like Fitzpatrick he got nicknames and TV appearances. People still lament Flutie being pulled for Rob Johnson. Also I meant of the good QB over the drought. Losman wasn't good. Also, Losman had higher standards being a first round pick.

Twice in his commentary, he stated that tyrod didn't fit the "prototype" which to him is "slow, WHITE and in the pocket."Twice. Once is a mistake, twice isn't.
I don't know if it's about race or not, but when it comes to Bills QB over the drought Taylor has by far gotten the most anger and vitriol even though he's been as good or better than every QB. What's the difference between Taylor and Fitzpatrick? Why is one loved and the other not? What about Taylor and Orton? I can see where someone would say the only difference is race.

Thankfully, neither does your cynicism.
What cynicism? You said your intend was to by happy that Tyrod was benched. What am I a cynic about?

He just has to be better than Tyrod.

Denver fires Vance Joseph and brings back Gary Kubiak. Tyrod goes to Denver.

to me, having an end to this three year experiment in demi-quarterbacking IS a victory.Exactly. I see that. But it's only the beginning for Peterman. Your joy doesn't mean anything.

ooooh are you mad, too?
If this is only the beginning, where does it end?
No one knows. Not mad at all. Just saying this benching Tyrod isn't the end of the Bills problems at QB. Peterman still has to play well. It's like day 1 is all I'm saying. You're already on the victory lap and the race just started. Peterman is on his first step.

Weak tread. They still have to play the game. Getting a player benched for one you support more is only the beginning.

Do you really believe that? Are you in the locker room?
If Marcel was that much of a team guy, he sure did have a funny way of showing it by his off field issues.
Yes I really believe that. Off the field has nothing to do with stopping the run. Also Kyle said he personally had a lot invested in Dareus. They loved him as a brother who is troubled. They wanted it to work for him here, with them. It's easy to see that.

I doubt that is going to work
I don't know if it will work or not but a rookie QB will see a blitz scheme with defensive backs in short zones. If he beats it, great. I like him. Just know he's a rookie and he'll see things he's never seen before.
-
Without a true run stuffer they were going to lose of the season with or without Tyrod. Maybe they win one game if they can't stop the run.
-
Wrong. Teams will Blitz Peterman because he's a rookie. If he defeats that, then they have 2 weeks.
-
Trading Marcell is the one move that killed 2017. They most likely make the playoffs with Marcell.
-
He destroyed the "family" when he traded Marcell. I don't think he can get it back. He might as well blow it up now. You can't preach family and underdog and all that stuff and trade for a receiver and act like he's her to save the franchise. That family thing probably comes off as a lie now.

Leonard Johnson has been a good player for us...I'd like to have him back
He's always hurt. Also for this defense they need a big corner. A boundary corner 6'1 200+

Dareus wasn't on the field much.
He was only on the field for run downs. They'd sit him and play 4 ends on rush downs.

Give up 300 yards rushing.
-
If they can't figure out how to stop the run without Marcell they'll be lucky to go 7-9.
-
His production as a NT is not about numbers. He's not playing a 1 gap penetrator like he did under Jim Schwartz.
Just now, Captain_Quint said:12 snaps?!?! What's that, $1 million per snap?
NV?

Should be Pagano. Shoulda been fired last year. He has cancer, I know. It's a business.

Assuming Kyle comes back and we resign one of Gaines/Matthews, we could be looking at around $5M in spendable money next offseason. Do we restructure TT a third time?
Preston Brown I'd resign for a modest contract. The rest, goodbye. Unless they take one year contracts.

Boundary Corner. Big like the Vikings corner. 6'1 or taller. DT. OG. DE. LB. RB. QB.
-
1. Poor Defense
2. Tyrod Taylor. Holding on to the ball way to long and too much, taking too many sacks resulting in almost a 10 yrd loss each time.
3.Play calling. Dennison awful play calling.
4. Same Ol Bills. A game your supposed to have and you get your ass handed to you.
Didn't matter what plays they called Ducasse was getting whipped off the snap on almost every play.
-
Jones was good. Would have been better. On that play he injured his knee he was going for a TD. Or at least a long gain.
-
Miller stinks in this scheme.
#3 - Poor coaching adjustments
Seems like Ducasse sucks in every scheme.

If they don't stop the run without Dareus I'd say 0-7 or 1-6.
