None of the 24 players waived by the Bills on Saturday were claimed off waivers, according to NFLs transaction wire.
Out of this round
Alright thanks. Mike Rodak tweet threw me off
-
So does it mean they are done claiming others after these three?
-
The Bills claimed OT Conor McDermott off of waivers from the Patriots, per league source.
I wonder if related to Sean? lol
-
As we wait just like the Buffalo Sport Media.
Do they break anything?
Crickets right now.... Pretty much
-
First claim Jets claim Tye TE from Giants
Tye is not too bad of a TE for pass catcher but I heard some place horrible blocker.
-
He's already got a ring.
Right my bad totality forgot lol. Nevermind then releasing him.
-
Release him. He's older and wants a ring and Superbowl. After his hardwork over the years (not for us) give him that.
-
How many times does it have to be explained to you before you understand?
See that is the deal, beane has no ego in this regard. Look at the top Front office guys he brought in, what TWO other GM candidates? We will finally get it right, but it takes time.
Ya I understand takes time but with Vlad and other stuff like Bolden. Is a head scratcher.
-
From Panthers board I thought lots said great on punt returns easy 10 yards or more. But I was totality hammered (drunk) lol don't remember if punt or kickoffs.
-
How long till we know if Bill's claimed cut players and practice squad players?
-
Agreed, and whether the end result is good or bad, they are certainly doing the most with the opportunity they've been given. Unfortunately, up to this point, and especially with the moves they've made lately, they haven't done alot to inspire confidence in me. Just my opinion.
Quite a bit, and I'm sorry, for the life of me I just cannot understand their infatuation with Vlad Ducasse, the decision to cut Brandon Reily, and the trading away of our number 2/3 corner for a short slot receiver who can return punts/kicks when we already have that in Tate!! I just don't get it.
Same with me on those points. I don't get it neither on those points.

I am a Miller fan but I don't think he is exceptional. I think he had a better rookie year than he got credit for and I think he was a solid, little above average NFL guard last year and always projected as a solid two contract starter to me. I am absolutely okay with that kind of pick in the third.
Vlad and Millis are horrible. I'd agree with them but trading for player who has been on 3 roster and likely cut Bill's traded for today. Miller is much better then those both combined. IMV

More and more time passes, trades and stuff with this regime. The more I think it's not looking good.
-
When Carroll took over ver the Seahawks they literally had over 100 player transactions in his first year on the job.
They took the roster, shook it, shook it some more....and contunued to shake the **** out of it unTil they built a Super Bowl Champion.
You'd think Beane and McDermott were breaking up the early 90's Bills with some fans reactions,
But I understand feelings of our fanbase. Losing streak has taken a toll on everyone..
-
I'm starting to think they are trying to get every player Whaley drafted off the roster as fast as they can so that in two years if they aren't performing well they can make a stronger case for blaming it on the previous regime.
That's 5 Whaley players traded this off-season all under the age of 24, all playing on rookie contracts, three of which were starting last year and one that we just used 3 picks to draft only one year ago.. (And it was almost 6 players because it seems like they were trying to move on from Miller too except that Ducasse has been terrible)
If we were getting rid of players in their 30s or players with bloated contracts I'd completely understand it, but I don't understand building for the future by getting rid of all of the 22, 23, 24 year old talent on the team.
Me too and keeping players has been on many teams as well...
-
With way he has played worse player by far played maybe player even Jordan Millis look's better. Still not good them both. But why is what I am asking?
-
Can the OP just copy and paste all the cuts on the first page so we don't have to go through 5 pages to look them up?
Ya this would be helpful
-
Vlad still on the team? If he is I like someone help us with that spot. Heck I'll even take a good run blocker who is half better . At this point.
-
1) I know
2) he was a 2nd round pick last year that we just dumped for a mid round pick. The fact that we had a 3rd stringer makes it even worse. These picks should be part of our core and not struggling to see the field. I get the current regime is trying to clean up Whaley's mess but I'm holding off praise until I see what they do with all these picks.
They should of traded him before preseason. Better value maybe higher draft pick and this year or next year.
-
Whaley drafts looking alot worse and worse each day... Whaley was poor at drafting.. I know this was a fit for Rex D still other draft looking bad for him.
-
They where pushed around a bit, but it was OK because the LBers were on point. It seemed to me they were two gapping more this week than in past, maybe that is just what McD wanted to work on. This coaching staff uses PS to focus on very specific things based on what I am seeing, specially when there was still not game planning in the 3rd game like most other teams do
Greg Roman I think helps out with there run game for Ravens. To be fair he is best with the run in the league (I know not OC bt helps in lots of ways). The Bill's did ok considering that.
-
Taylor for now. If he keeps doing like in preseason then new starter needed.
-
So why didn't we keep Scwartz? I guess Rex thought he was going to improve the defense lol. I just don't get it. There is a reason for the 17 year playoff drought. Working well? Break it let's fix it? Working bad? Let's fix it. Its some of the stupidest **** I have ever seen to change something that works well
I thought you were talking about last season to hiring Schwartz with his coaches OC and stuff. I wanted Schwartz as well in a bad way
is jonathan williams next? - update: now cut
