Bill's looking great so far. I think Bill's about time making adjustment not to keep Tyrod in pocket all time.
They look good so far.

Sadly Scott, Pegula may end up getting rid of Lynn and Tyrod. There goes our high scoring offense. And I have no reason to believe they hired a defensive mastermind either.
As well as Bradley who has the D coaching great for Chargers.

When Dak went to the sidelines and Garrett asked what happened, Dak said "I don't regret the decision to roll left and lob the ball right to the DB, I regret the result."
" Dak went to the sidelines and said trust the process" lol

I don’t understand why they brought back a career journeyman after his 1 good year. A guy clearly on his last legs and who is not at all a scheme fit. Every single part of it seemed to me like it was a no brained to let him go... not only is he back, the guy starts
Expecting upgrades to LB, D-Line, O-Line, maybe few coaches, QB and back up RB biggest place need help at. Hopefully. For off season
I expect whole sale changes to Lb- D-Line and O-Line/

I wish we had Lynn and Gus Bradley. I was hard on Bradley but that D is getting better while ours getting worse.... As season goes on.

He has been sacked 5 times all season. It helps to have a good Oline and actual NFL level receivers as well.
What helps most is that Shurmer at least runs an offense that isn't antiquated. Dennison is so bad that this is the first time in his 22 year career that he has EVER called plays.
What we need is an innovative OC. Someone who incorporates spread concepts with built in RPOs. McD should've brought and hired Ken Dorsey from Carolina. Dennison is horrible.
Agree when I see other offense design just look soo much better then Bills and so much more.. Everything to this offense is bad.....

We have no idea if they are doing it right, yet. Looks like the same ineptitude to me.
It's the old model way to do things. I agree with you. Look at Pats ways to do things and such.

I think only Colts possible in a close tight game.
I expect a brick of sacks and don't match up well with Dolphins for there D.. Tyrod might be getting hit like crazy and sacked.

See this is where Belichick has been so much better than other coaches. He doesn't have a "thing" he does. He has some base like he starts out with a 3-4 and Brady but in a game setting he changes and changes quickly to what ever it takes. If you show a base defense he'll come out with 4 rb's and line them all up as WR's. He plays chess with everyone and he wins at it. 0n defense I saw us make in game changes earlier in the year and go from getting gashed to shutting teams down. I think McD and Frazier can do that ............ or could do that. Again the loss of Dareus might have changed that. The stark contrast to that is on offense. I have seen none of that from Dennison and the offense.
Never trade Dareus or type of player during season. Should of been off season. Hate in season trades.
I think lack of replacement and killed team morale cause of it. Plus little other stuff.

I don't think there is really much of an explanation for the past 2-3 losses and how they have occurred this embarrassingly lopsided. I was watching NFLN last night; Willie McGuinest seems to think that McDermott is not being transparent with the team and that they have shut down on him.
Whatever the cause, it is painful. I hate being the butt of cruel jokes and hearing less than flattering conversations about how bad the only team I have ever rooted for, is.
I think all started to happen when they trade Marcell. They got lucky in Raiders game when ST could not hold on the football makes it easier for offense.

I think it's more of Case K. making himself look good. I think he is just one of those guys that finally came into his own and started playing better. Not saying Shurmer doesn't have ANY part in his success at all, but I just think Case Keenum has just gotten better as a QB over time. Sometimes it happens like that.
Yes thinking for that as well for Case. Getting better with time.

Chargers looking pretty good. From both sides of ball. Cowboys are a better team then Bill's right now.
1 hour ago, RyanC883 said:Yes, the comparason to Dak is premature. But let's not label Peterman "garbage". Dak plays behind the best line in the NFL his rookie year and has Zek and a great WR and TE cast. Peterman has McCoy.
Give Tyrod and Peterman O-Line and offense coaching from them.. Really big different. Top 10 line vs worst line in league

I vote for "neither of the above".
Tyrod is a guy with a unique skill set, who had at that time 2 years of tape saying he could do some things expected of a traditional NFL QB well, other things poorly, and has in addition some unique abilities pretty much no one else has.
If I'm unwilling to work with him as he is, I tell my bosses to get me the best traditional-type pocket passer on the FA market and let Taylor go.
if I want to keep Taylor or if they simply can't sign the traditional guy I want, I select from my 5 2-inch thick notebooks a subset of plays that focus on his strengths, design a few that exploit his unique skillset, and only a few that stretch him and ask him to develop.
That's how you win. You don't win by keeping players who don't fit the roles you want them to fill and trying to hammer that square peg into roundness and @#%! it just Won't. Become. Round.
People talk about McDaniel's offense on the Pats** as though it's a static thing, but the truth is, it changes quite a bit from year to year depending upon the personnel he has to work with. Dennison/Kubiak are the guys that tried to make "Shotgun Sheriff Manning" into a pocket passer who rolled out in his last season. Nuff said.
Wow great post with this. Agree.

And there is no guarantee that any pick will pan out. Look at Cleveland. We have no idea yet how well these guys will draft.
Agree on draft picks a bit. Tanking does not work well with teams unless you're doing horrible to start off then you're 1-7 or 2-8 or so then tank rest of way for draft pick. I hate tanking, Sabres tanked and still doing horrible. Browns tanked still winless.....

Let's start Peterman again with a bad O line and maybe this time he can throw 10 interceptions, and ruin his career and confidence for good. But your agenda would be fulfilled.
Yep the defense isn't a problem at all. And I think TT can beat Miami and the Colts at home. By the way, KC and NE are better teams then the Bills. Hard for you to believe, I know.
I'm not sure. Jets a team we should of beat. Steam rolled us badly............ Saints rolled on us at home horribly...
Not putting it all on Tyrod maybe little bit but putting major accountability others parts of team first.

That doesn't surprise me a bit to hear. Whatever you think of him as a QB, Fitz is a good guy. He certainly had an up-and-down rookie year, and yeah, he both set a record for yards thrown by a rookie/comeback win in his first game AND he threw a 5-INT game.
Ya lol I would love to have a beer or two with Fitz lol. Very nice guy.

Then commonsense tells you to let him play more like the last two seasons. Roll outs, shotgun and such.
Yes thats on OC witch been calling for.. But still thing is with Mills and Vlad starting letting guys go thru them a second (at times unblocked). No matter the design no QB will be alright. This O-Line is horrible I think no matter play calls. Getting beat fast and good.
-
Now teams can focus put Tyrod in a pocket...
No matter the QB is this offense staff and O-Line are horrible.
-
Gotta fix this offense staff and O-Line as well. Put Tom Brady would get hurt and do horrible. It is one of worst I have ever seen.

Not the same player anymore not worried. But really worried for us (from withen) lol
-
The quick release, match up problems, rub route Brady is soo good could play 40s with arm falling might not hit the deep ones but these he will be good at.
Unless O-Line takes a crap like us with one second to throw but there O-Line will never be bad as us ever.
-
With the way D-Line is right now i'd get them both. Bills major need for rush D and pass rusher.

That is so piss poor!!!!!
i wish McD would call out the poor oline play. And that is inexcusable. Mills is Terrible and I hope Dawkins gets better cause Glenn is worthless these days.
Bills should draft 2 Olinemen with there first 4 picks.
At the point saying replace them all O-Line players. Even OC and O-Line coach.

The porous OL against the very strong LAC pass rush and pass D didnt do Peterman any favors (any more than NO did the previous week).
The good news is KC's run D and pass D are down in the bottom third of the league - they're missing a bunch of their best D players - so it's possible our OL might cope.
Who saw Peterman (on the Bills) and said he was not worth starting?
I was under-impressed in pre-season, but it was possible he improved.
Justin Houston elite pass rusher might wreck havoc on our O-Line. I just don't trust this O-Line with any team out there.. Looks very horrible.

In a much more hostile environment that is Arrowhead? Sure he can.
If the O-Line learns to block (as well not let free runners) and Dennison learn how to call the game. Along forcing a punt. Stopping the run.
We might have a chance lol. Everything gets killed if not, not even Tyrod or Peterman can do it sorry it's the fact right now.

Greg Roman went cute... Greg hell of run design and call run plays. His passing and cuteness hurt the team in past.
