If Shady averages 30 carries a game the rest of the season, they get in, lol.
Anyways, back to reality................ Even though the Dolphins stink, the Bills QB is downright scary right now and I wouldn't be shocked if there isn't another win the rest of the season because of this QB play.

My targets for FA are DTs Donald and/or latuleleileielileiele
Is Donald a FA?
I thought he signed a mega-deal with the Rams............... or are they at an impasse. I don't know.

I was all in hoping for success until I say and remembered the limitations of Taylor.
I was this close | | to thinking TT had turned the corner then wham he slammed the door of reality back in my face.
I think 9-7 (maybe a miracle 10-6) is quite impressive with no QB. And a playoff appearance to boot.
I say a miracle 10-6 cause if the Pats lose, they may be a little flat knowing they won't catch the Steelers with Pittsburgh's remaining schedule.

And honestly, I'm not sure how much they need to address WR beyond a speed guy.Sign John Brown and get it over with. Done.
He shouldn't be too expensive, but you never know how these teams set the marketplace for UFA's.

Note I said "picks."
Use FA for the defense.
Rookies are cheap.
Some good D prospects this year will be hard to ignore.
I was thinking the WR position looks kinda weak in this draft, so they might have to use FA for that.

I wouldn't be opposed.
Then use every other pick we have left to get OL/WR/TE/RB
What about the D?
Spend all the cap space on that?
If it works for you, ok good.

NE might have nothing to play for in the finale, so the Jets might be able to get to 6 wins............. MIGHT.

Indeed.I felt for almost the entirety of the drought that the Bills had no plan, just a succession of duct tapings and bandaids. Whether anyone likes it or not, this team HAS a direction, finally. I happen to like it, since it's all I've really asked for for a LONG time.
I'll cut the mentally-deficient newbie some slack. Maybe he doesn't know how to use search.
Hopefully the long term plan involves bringing in a franchise QB.
Personally, I have no idea where they are going for said QB, but it should make it a fun off season.
I wonder if they find out if Luck is healthy and they make a run at him knowing there is MAJOR riff between him and the Colts. Just a thought.

A hight draft pick should take care of one of the other starting LB positions and a trade of FA should take care of the other.
Trust the process. lol

Ravens have the easiest schedule ever to close out the season.
-
It might have to be Tennessee is the one the Bills have to catch, cause.............
Did anyone see Baltimore's schedule, even if they lose to Pittsburgh tonight?

I said mostly meaningless. Way to go at the one thing in my post that you can argue with. If you think the Bills are going to make the playoffs this year, I have some swamp land to sell you.
They have a shot.
I know most fans don't think too much of this team and how they got to this position, but the fact is they still have a shot.

yeah, scoreboard - woo hoo! We beat the Colts! In a mostly meangingless game. If McD had gone for it, and the Bills didn't get the first down, I'd actually be happier than I am now. It would tell me we had a keeper. A coach who knows when to go for it and win the damn game. And I'll be looking forward to next year.
How do you think that same situation would go against the Pats or the Steelers or the Seahawks?
One rule of thumb in football is this: if the opposing team is about to do something that makes you feel relieved, then it's the wrong decision. What do you think Colts fans were thinking when McD chose to punt? "Holy crap! He's giving us a chance to win without going for it! Yay punt!" Do you think any Colts fan wanted to see the Bills go for it there?
Hell no.
One thing I will never understand about coaches who "punt it and count on our defense to get a stop," is:
If you're so confident in your defense, why not go for it in the first place, and then if you don't get it, count on them to stop the other team?
How is this game meaningless? If Baltimore loses, the Bills are tied with them.
I understand how you feel, but to say this game is meaningless is just dumb.

McDummy might wind up getting lucky here.

Why do we CONTINUOUSLY have to suffer through some of the dumbest coaching decisions imaginable?

He calls a TO and STILL punts.

Nice way to play for a tie.

it would be so Billsy for the Colts to make TWO miracle kicks in a row.

Shaq is a keeper as he sets a good edge as a run defender and his pass rush skills will improve with more experience. But the talent around him has to improve for him to be a keeper.
Shaq should start and Milano should grab one of the OLB spots.
Other than that, the draft and FA should give the Bills 5 new starters in the front 7.

If my theory about Flynn's leak killers holds merit (laid out in detail in previous posts) this might end up being the best spent 7m in federal government history. I think you're about to see at least two major institutions be exposed for political corruption (FBI and CIA - though CIA will be done mostly off the radar).
On his second day I office, while standing in front of the wall of honor at Langley, 45 said he was going to get rid of the columns. I believe that is what we are witnessing in both the federal government and its agencies and the implosion of media figure heads in both the media and Hollywood.
The Dems want Trump out of office so bad that it is boomeranging back to them and deservedly so.
I am no fan of the Republicans by any stretch of the imagination, but Democrats are the scum of the earth and their moronic, triggered arses get exposed every day.

What a waste of American tax payer dollars this Russian hoax is.
What is it something like 7 million spent on it already.
Plus Mueller and his team are 99% Trump-hating and Hillary-loving trolls. This whole smells and needs to end NOW.
I don't care if you hate Trump, love Trump or are indifferent (not many are)................. this whole thing stinks to high heaven.

From top to bottom...........
The Bills are embarrassingly scared of NE, so not a thing will be done to Gronkowski.
If it was me, I would be going after him Buddy Ryan style on Christmas Eve. Could care less about the consequences.
White is one of their brothers and that douche needs to be taken out at all costs next game. No if's and's or but's about it.
If both Peterman and Taylor are cleared to play Sunday

McDermott is in a pickle Savior.
He has a below average starter and a raw-boned rookie (that wasn't a high draft pick) to chose from.
I think we should be doing cartwheels that the Bills are in this position with the worst QB situation possible.
I actually think that Peterman can be a good NFL QB, despite his million-interception debut game, but experience will win out here.
Their thinking is that Taylor might actually play well against an awful Dolphins team.
Regardless, it might be a dog fight for the Bills against Miami in both games cause of the weak QB situation.
